We chose Emo to work with my 11 year old daughter via Skype for voice lessons. She was really nervous to have her very first voice lesson over Skype, and with a stranger, but Emo quickly put her at ease. He’s patient, encouraging, positive, and also really uses the 30 minutes fully. He wasn’t the cheapest vocal coach to respond to my thumbtack but he really knows what he’s doing and maximizes the 30 minute lesson. My daughter is really happy with him as her teacher and so am I!
I highly recommend GreenTree and Sidney!! Coordinating piano lessons and other artistic endeavors with Sidney was an effortlesss and pleasant task. He made it happen and initiated some remarkable lessons. GreenTree is on speed dial for our next visit to OC.
I am eight years old and I have been going to Miss Esthers studio for piano lessons ever since I moved over to California with my family. She is a very good teacher and has a very clean studio and house. She also has a cat named Pumpkin! Miss Esther is very nice and encouraging. She lets you have your choice of pieces too. I really enjoy playing duets with her. I love it when I go to her classes and I am looking forward to it every week.
I am so pleased with the service we received. In no time at all, my piano was back to perfect pitch, and ready to make beautiful music again!
Mark is an excellent piano teacher. Our daughter has excelled in only six months and enjoys her piano lessons. He offers recitals two times a year. He is responsive, professional, and if I need to change dates around he is flexible. I highly recommend him as a piano teacher!
My daughter had violin lessons with Ms Amy for a year. We loved the convenience of having lessons in our own home with a great teacher, as her lessons were taught privately via Skype. Our only regret was that it would have been even better to work with her in person, but seeing as we lived in another state, that wasn't an option for us. Ms Amy was a great teacher! She was an inspiration to our daughter and helped her to love the violin.
I feel Jennifer and I have a great connection , we get along fabulously. She is a tremendously talented musician and singer (obviously ). Her abilities as a pianist and singer is equally matched by her ability to professionally yet pragmatically teach, mentor, tutor and guide one in the art of operatic singing. We have established goals. She is the epitome of promptness. I always look forward to my lessons with Jennifer. It is an honor to be her student . Sincerely - Dave
I have the distinct pleasure of working with Amanda in a church setting as her music director at St. Clement's church in San Clemente. Amanda contributes to our program by both singing in the choir and offering vocal solos during services. She always arrives prepared and I greatly appreciate her musicality and sensitivity to the music. She's continually happy and offers constructive suggestions that ultimately add much to the music. She's a wonderful musician and I highly recommend her as a singer. I also believe that her skills will wonderfully transfer to teaching the art of singing to her students.
Glenn has been teaching my now 12 year old son the bass guitar for two years. Glenn is a wonderful teacher and good friend to my son and my family. We can't imagine changing teachers. I highly recommend Glenn. He is punctual, prepared and very adaptable to the musical tastes of individual students. After a lesson he often creates a custom YouTube video on the lessons learned. Before taking piano lessons with Rebecca, my only experience with musical instruction was through elementary and junior high. Rebecca's training and personal dedication to music makes her an extraordinary teacher. We use the Suzuki books, which I love because that's what I used for violin and flute. She supplements those favorites with really nice adult-learning-centered books on theory. As an adult learner, this was helpful, because I could read through these brief books, but then had the terminology to look up my questions online or know what to ask in lessons. The lessons are so fun and well organized. We work on the songs in the books (which included CDs of the songs so you can hear what the song might sound like if you practice enough) and she would help me with songs I brought in too. Rebecca is so kind, and is great with my five-year-old too. Really, Rebecca is an excellent music instructor. Her academic background, many years of actually playing piano and singing, knowledge of the music available and books, and variety of students -- all make her a versatile teacher, capable of helping anyone learn to the play the piano in whatever style they are interested in. Plus, she is an incredible person. I look forward to piano lessons with her.
Excellent voice coach, daughter is having fun and having a good time with her lessons.
Mrs. Bosenberg has not only been a wonderful teacher but also an inspiration to my daughter. She has ways to make learning music fun and my daughter enjoys showing up to class every week. The best part of all, I get to enjoy hearing beautiful music played by my own daughter everyday. Thank you Mrs. B!
I have been taking flute lessons from Ms. Wilson for close to 4 months now and its been a great experience so far. I had very little idea of music and had no such formal training but wanted to learn flute. She is supportive from day 1 and started to teach me the basics of music and flute. She is very calm, listens to my problems when I don't get some things easily and tries to suggest solutions. She has been very flexible in class timings and adjusts her schedule to accommodate me when I can't make it to the class on some days. I wish I get to learn a lot from her and become a good flutist.
Mark was very prompt and professional in his response to my project request. He is a very relaxed guy and made me feel very comfortable during my first lesson. We chatted about my goals, which I feel confident of achieving from Mark. During the first lesson he was making "light bulbs" go on for me for stuff i was struggling trying to learn! He made it so simple and fun. His rates are reasonable. He is worth every bit of it in my opinion. I have had three lessons since and I can not wait until the next one! (FYI...i am mid fifties male playing for three years)
My daughter Xcaret started taking Music lessons since she was 4 years old. By age 6 she wanted to sing so we choose voice lessons. We are lucky to had found Beverly who has encourage her to improve her vocals. I highly recommend Beverly, she knows how to engage, make music fun, and show you all the tricks to improve your vocals and take it to another level. Xcaret has been taking voice lessons with Beverly for 18 months now. It truly has been a wonderful experience. Xcaret loves to perform, does her recitals, has more confidence and now sings all the time! And the best thing for me as a mother of 3 kiddos, Beverly is available for home lesson too! 🎼🎤🏆
Jiaxin has been an amazing piano instructor to my 6 year old son. He s new to music, and in the beginning, I was so worried that getting him to sit through lessons would not be easy.... But he absolutely loves it! Jiaxin has been so great with him. She s sweet and funny, but most importantly.... PATIENT! She knows exactly how he needs to learn and he s really absorbing it all like a sponge. We are very fortunate to have found her:). She truly is a wonderful teacher.
I highly recommend studying voice with Elizabeth Kimery! I am a professional singer and classic musical theatre performer (BA Vocal Performance); I’ve studied with some terrific teachers, but Elizabeth is who I’ve clicked with the most, and who has helped me to sing whatever style of music I've wanted/needed to, to the best of my ability. While we have worked on a lot of classical music together, she is the only teacher who has helped me develop a very healthy contemporary musical theatre/belt sound, as well as ways to switch back and forth between styles (if you’d like examples, you can check out some of my recordings here: http://www.ashleywagnerarts.com/). That has been invaluable to my work! I studied with Elizabeth while living and working in San Diego (shows with Lamb’s Players, Cygnet, etc…) and worked with her on audition prep for Disney. I was hired by Disney Cruise Line as a singer/actor (primary role, Mary Poppins), later worked professionally in Washington, DC, before recently relocating back to CA. I’m thrilled to be studying with her again! If you live in San Diego and want to study voice (including more than only classical music), you need to call her. Her rates are affordable, she is very caring, and if you give her a chance, she will help you greatly.
My daughter has been taking voice lessons from Marianna for 10 months. I'm delighted by the rapid growth that my daughter has experienced and by the engaging way that Marianna has built relationship of trust and confidence with her student. I appreciate how well Marianna communicates and I especially appreciate her flexibility in scheduling. We are so lucky she teaches in our community!
He is a great teacher. He knows how to teach music. He has lots of knowledge about it. The best is he has lots and lots of patience.
Our 5 year-old has improved a great deal while taking lessons with Amy. She has made it fun and has personalized her lessons to his interest and developmental stage. He now has a better posture while playing and has started to read music.
Serge has been an outstanding guitar teacher for my 11 year old son. I am recommending him to any parent who wants quality and fun guitar lessons for their children. Thanks. Arnel
