"We cannot say enough about Hawk Educational Solutions, Juliet was very professional and very patient. We were very impressed with how she was able to get through to our teenage son. He now feels less anxious about reading and math and we are confident he will be a better student. We find Juliet's technique very effective and we would highly recommend her services to anyone."

Clear communication from Joyee and his math tutor. They made the process easy and were helpful about scheduling tutoring times and dates. I'd also recommend them for college and scholarship planning.

It was a simple job. Six grade math. Most tutors either gave us the runaround or just didn't call us back. Eric at elite made sure we were satisfied from the first free trial to the session before my daughters test. Very well done

Lynne is just the kind of tutor I was looking for. Because she speaks her well-educated Spanish at a pace I can understand, I am able to converse with her in Spanish in a way that enables her to pick up on my errors. She made note of these, corrected them, and sent me a follow-up list of them via e-mail which is a great way of reinforcing the learning experience. It is primarily conversational Spanish that I want to improve upon. I have tried various ways of improving my Spanish over many years, and working with Lynne was the most successful and satisfying for me. Lynne was very accommodating about meeting at a place and time that was very convenient for me.

Jenny was a fantastic ACT tutor for my son! I could not have picked a better tutor. Jenny worked with him this summer and was able to quickly ascertain his areas of strength and areas for needed development for the ACT. She also quickly assessed his learning style and put together an efficient customized learning/tutoring plan and tutoring schedule for the summer that helped him make huge strides in both his strongest and weakest sections of the ACT, improving his already high comprehensive test results by 5 points thus far with another week of tutoring yet to go! In particular she did an amazing job tutoring him on the English portion, helping him go from a 26 to a 35 in that section! He has really enjoyed working with her and looked forward to their tutoring sessions. I will be signing my younger son up for ACT tutoring with Jenny next summer for sure!

I was signed up to take a Kaplan course for GMAT prep and was talking to a co-worker about it when they told me their story. They took one of the same Kaplan courses I was signed up to take and didn't get their desired GMAT score. In their second attempt, they signed up for private tutoring with John Easter, one of Elite Home Tutoring tutors, and their GMAT score improved by over 100 points. After hearing this story, I called to cancel my Kaplan class & signed up with Elite Home Tutoring, with a special request to work with John. During my studies, I decided that I wanted to take the GRE instead of the GMAT. I explained this to my tutor John and to Eric at Elite Home Tutoring and the change was so simple. John is not only skilled in GMAT prep but GRE prep as well. So the only thing that would need to change were the materials. If you're looking for the best resources for test prep I highly recommend Elite Home Tutoring. I have no complaints!

My 12 year old son was hesitant about using a tutor. Lauri was so accepting and interested in talking with him. After our first meeting, he told me, "She is cool!" After working with him for 3 months this Spring and Summer, he is confident and ready to start the new school year. If he starts to falter, she will be our first call!

My son was struggling with reading and reading comprehension and his grade had fallen to a low D. After just a few months working with Patt, and his grade was up to a high B. She didn't just help him improve his grade, but gave him the tools to be able to succeed on his own. Since then (now several years later) and he is still doing well in both areas as well as other subjects that are reading heavy.

Joseph Descans helped me with the editing of several documents. His knowledge and editing skills were outstanding, and his patience with the process was the best part. It can be tremendously frustrating when you have "writer's block" and the words just don't come out right, but a patient tutor is such a great asset to have in your back pocket!

Kim was great . She explained everything to me and gave simple directions that I can understand and she was very patient when it came to her payment . I had a hard time trying to do the pay pal or anything that involves the computer or my phone even . She was great to work with . ! She also sent me 2 resumes that I can choose from and they turned out great ! And it was done in the time frame that I needed .

Rebecca R. – San Diego State University (Business and Marketing) “I met MathWizJohn when I was lost in my Accounting class. I felt like there was no way I was going to be able to learn so much material and turn my grade around when I was already so behind. The class was moving quickly, and the problems seemed to be from another planet or book I hadn’t read!! The tutors here were able to slow things down to my pace, show me the material in a way I understood it, and were always encouraging. I was able to salvage a B in the class (clutch), and since then I have received help in Acct 202 and Fin 323. MWJ’s has helped me stay on top of my tough classes, and my grades have improved a lot!”

    About

QUESTION: If this method is so simple, why didn’t anyone figure it out before? .......................................... ANSWER: Frankly, we’re all scratching our heads and wondering the very same thing. Once a student experiences the ease and simplicity of the Universal Reading Method, they’ll likely wonder why reading is taught any other way. History has shown us many examples of “game changing” technology that, once accepted, has had the ability to instantly alter the status quo. Just as in most of those prior situations, this method is likely to meet resistance at first. People often have a difficult time with big paradigm shifts in any field. There is an entire system in place set up to defend “the way it’s always been done” and many people might feel threatened. After all, the old methods worked for most of us, right? Well… clearly not. It is estimated that up to ¼ of the adult population in the United States is functionally illiterate, with millions more inexplicably “graduating” high school every year. Tackling this huge problem with existing methods hasn’t worked, nor can it work! Those systems are far too slow and cumbersome in their approach. Put simply, the goal of the Universal Reading Method is to help wipe illiteracy off the face of the English-speaking world. It might take some time to accomplish that, but now we at least have a suitable tool to tackle this growing problem. We hope you’ll give us a try. You have nothing to lose but more years of unnecessary frustration for the challenged reader that you know.

    About

What makes me such an effective tutor/educator is that I can relate to students on their level. If they don't understand important material, I am patient in further educating them until they fully comprehend. I have a BA in English literature from a university on the East Coast. I was an editor for over a year and a half reading student papers and dissertations. I am familiar speaking to people with accents as I volunteered at a school for international students learning English. I do my best to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience. My stepbrother was from Russia, and I helped teach him how to read. He is now an avid English communicator who no longer even has an accent. Please contact me for more information on how I can meet all your expectations of me and more!

    About

I have an aptitude for tutoring students and assisting them with improving their test scores and over-all academic requirements . I have seen their interest in their studies improve and their concentration become more focused. My work is more than just a job. I am committed to my students' success. I want my students to gain mastery over their challenges and I support them in overcoming their obstacles.
