I recently moved to San Marcos and started searching for a private Tennis coach for my 9yo & 13yo boys to keep them more active. We are so happy we found coach Ruben on Thumbtack. He is very punctual, professional and knows how to work with the kids. He started teaching them the basics and fine techniques and reminds them to continue using them. To our surprise, they have learnt forehand, backhand and are already able to play rally within a few lessons in a short time. Ruben has trained them very well and we are more than happy that he is coaching our kids. They look forward to Ruben's lessons every week and the boys get pretty bummed if we had to cancel any day. I have already referred Ruben to my friends, neighbours and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. My kids love coach Ruben and we will continue working with him.

We did duel classes with my daughter 11 and my son 9. He listened to what I wanted the kids to focus on. Good drills and really works on their stamina. Kids get a good work out and learn good techniques. Coach knows how to talk to the kids and pushes them to give their best.

Coach Ruben Araiza is the real deal. My daughter plays rec ball and really wanted to improve. We hired Ruben. In observing various practices, Ruben clearly understands the game on many different levels and is very skilled at teaching and coaching my daughter on the skills needs. He's the Soccer whisperer! He makes it fun and engaging and also teaches the philosophy of the game. One thing he recommended was a change in diet and had some supplement advice that was geared specifically to her. My daughter was motivated to start eating differently and the change is night and day. It's even carried over to her school work. Hire him. Give him a shot. You won't be disappointed!

My son was a little picky about the type of training he was looking for. When he met coach Ruben and had his first training, he was very excited to have found someone that had the same love and passion for soccer as him. He has given my son great tips and the confidence he was lacking. Coach Ruben has given us helpful diet tips as well. He is punctual and knows what he is talking about, I definitely recommend him!

I start with a discussion to find your needs. I will point out the pace & levels we can realistically reach. I start at a pace that is compatible with your conditioning & experience.
