Javier was super professional and most important based on my experience with contractors in Laguna Niguel, he was fast. Four days total (demo, soil prep, paver order-pick up-installation. Came back next day to replace a chipped paver, super responsible!
Alliance Residential and Commercial were fantastic! We had many items remodeled by other contractors and the quality and the service was just not up to par. We decided to go with Alliance on our last projects and could not be more pleased. They remodeled our master bath which required plumbing, drywalling, etc. and they provided additional electrical work throughout our home. They also set us up for our landscaping needs. They were very professional, speedy and used quality products. We wish we had them do our entire home from the start. Its refreshing when you don’t have to worry about the crew in your home and having to ask them to correct any missed details. I also appreciate the follow up calls to make sure we were happy with the outcome. Alliance delivered as promised and we couldn’t be happier. As a matter of fact, we will be having them install some new doors and windows. We highly recommend them.
Very nice contractor. On time, great price, and friendly. I will be using them again soon.
Felix did an outstanding job on my block wall project. He was professional and courteous and did an outstanding job at a great value. I was very impressed and will definitely call Felix next time I need some masonry or hardscape work done.
The best value and the best quality work. Their team came 20 minutes earlier and started prepping. Finished really quick and cleaned everything up. Will def. use this company again for all my masonry needs. Thanks HCC!
I was introduced to EnerG Contractor by a friend who used the company recently to build their side two story extension. I was on a very tight deadline due to a cancellation from another construction company. EnerG Contractor took on my project at extremely short notice and prepared a quotation for me within several days to carry out a large rear and side extension on two floors. Work commenced within a few weeks and completed a week over their scheduled deadline. I'm extremely pleased with the workmanship and service carried out by the team and would highly recommend them.
What a difference. I love my floor! I recently purchased a new home and was wanting to finish the garage, drywall, paint the works. I had a very unpleasant experience with 2 previous contractors and was actually about to give up on completion of the project. Sooo glad I did not. Antonio and team were on time, knowledgeable and actually take pride in what they do. I have one more project and looking forward to working with them again.
Oscar at Alvarado Masonry was professional, reasonably priced and did a wonderful job repairing my gate. He listened to my concerns and executed the job beautifully. To top it off he came on a Sunday morning and got the job done in one day. I will definitely be using him again. I appreciate the honest pricing and great workmanship. Oscar and Alvarado Masonry are highly recommended!!!
I had a previous bad experience with a plumber, and decided to find a more scrupulous person to fix the half-done job. I decided to try out thumbtack, and posted a brief description of the work. Joel was the first of 5 plumbers to reply within the hour. Joel showed up the morning of the job with another employee and reviewed my plumbing issue in detail before going into the crawl space with his associate to double check the situation. He came back out, described the problem, offered short and long term solutions, and we agreed on which route to take. He assigned the work to his employee, and the work was completed in a couple hours. Although he was not the cheapest of those plumbers who replied, I did feel that Joel provided a reasonable price for the work, had great communication, and his employee also had all the necessary parts for the job in his van (eliminating the need to run down to Home Depot or Lowes for parts). Joel's employee was hard-working and he also provided me with before and after photos of the work completed. I am inclined to seek him out again for future home improvement projects (bathroom remodel, roofing).
We were looking to expand our patio area in the backyard with an additional 350 square feet or so of concrete. We obtained four bids from contractors. We chose Gilbert for his quality of work, timeliness in follow up, and thoroughness in his approach. He finished the job early and we are very happy. I will use his services again and highly recommend.
Its not too often you find someone who is honest and punctual in this line of work. From the beginning Falanisi was both. His response was quick and he came out the same day i contacted him to give me an estimate, which was very fare compared to other estimates i received. With my time being limited, he made it a point to complete the job quick with high quality results. He completed 1600 square ft of concrete from start to finish in 4 days. Falanisi and his crew worked extremly hard and ive never been happier about highering someone to do work around my house. We have already talked about replacing a concrete patio that someone else did a horrible job on less then a year ago and I look forward to referring him to anyone who needs any kind of concrete/masonry work done. Job well done fellas. Look forward to other future projects.
I went through the process of evaluating different contractors for estimates on not only price but what their thought process is to complete the job I envision in my head. I had 5 different contractors at my home and ultimately went with Joe Paea and his crew made up of his brothers. Let me just say that I 1000% made the right choice. Here is why: 1. Knowledge - Joe took the time to not only help me think through design options but he walked through each and every detail on the "how's" and "why's" of the job. Here's how we do this... This is why it is important to do this... He walked me though the excavation process, removal, drainage and pour. He showed me design options from standard concrete to stamped, colored options, borders...etc. 2. Honesty - there were things that I had in my mind which I wanted to do for my project that would have been the wrong choice. Joe had no problem advising me on why to not do it that way. He helped me greatly. I really appreciated this. I never felt like he was taking advantage of me or anything. I fully trust Joe and this business. 3. Easy to work with/like-ability - Joe and his crew are amazingly professional but extremely likable guys. The whole crew was fantastic. Great people and great personalities and they were also all family making each other accountable with no arguments on the job. 4. Price - Joe's price was a little lower than most of the contractors which had me worried but in the end I am so glad I went with him. The few that were higher, I did not trust their knowledge or commitment to me. They were more about getting a job done and collecting my $$$. Joe was more about helping me find something that I will love and be proud of and affordable. I ended up going with a large backyard concrete job where I added stamped, colored concrete with diagonal lines and borders around the edges. We did a drainage system as well as a side yard walkway. It looks beautiful. At the end of the day, do yourself a favor and work with Joe for concrete. Joe and crew will be my concrete guys for every job moving forward. No question.
Charlie and his crew were very punctual and easy to work with. They did a great job fixing our brick wall that surrounds our house. I would recommend them to anyone needing masonry work. Great job guys!
George is an awesome contractor to work with. He's prompt and reliable and follows-up with the work throughout the project process. We will definitely use him again in our next couple of projects.
Jordan as a person was very nice. His inital follow up was prompt and he spoke very highly of his attention to detail. As a first time homeowner, I know little about construction and heavily rely on the expert knowledge of others to assist with our remodel. We hired Jordan after meeting three other contractors based solely on our interaction with him. When we originally had Jordan out to our house it was for a flooring quote only. Jordan explained he also preformed landscaping work on the side so we added that to our list. Jordan did an amazing job installing the floors! The entire dynamic of the house changed because of the floors. I was very disappointed in a few other areas which is the reason for 4 stars. We do not currently live in the house although we do have a few items in place for weekend visits. Towards the end of the job Jordan said that they were mostly finished so I had gone to check out the progress. The tile work in both bathrooms is crooked. The master bath is very noticeable. In addition, my bedding was covered in dust and they had smeared grout into the carpet in my bedroom. There was also sloppy grouting and caulking done in several areas of my home. To add insult to injury his crew decided it was ok to help themselves to my kids popcicles - this actually upset me just asuch as the tile floor. Giving credit where it is due: Jordan and Tim did have my carpets cleaned, my bedding dry cleaned and I was given the option to have them rip up the bathroom floor or receive a discount from my final bill. Jordan did offer to replace the missing popcicles as well although that never did happen. The landscape looks nice as well but we asked to keep the remaining turf and that also didn't happen. I asked jordan about it and he said what was salvageable was in our shed - it wasnt. Again, I was very happy with the floors but the other items make it hard to say if I would rehire for additional projects. Nice guy but I didn't feel like our home was cared for in the way he said it would be. If you do decide to hire Jordan my recommendations would be: 1. Get a detailed breakdown of the work 2. Notate about the use of your personal items (they completely filled up both our garbage cans) 3. Inspect. Inspect. Inspect. Check every corner.
