Lavonne was very flexible working with our small event. A small event of important people all with different food issues. She created an appetizer feast for meat eaters, vegetarians, gluten-free, dairy-free. Everyone was happy and well fed. She did a great job and we will use her again. I recommend Sage Bleu for your catering needs.
Ramiro was excellent to work with! We rented tables, chairs, belly bars, dance floor, wine glasses, table cloths, etc. from him for our backyard wedding. He was extremely helpful and was great about showing all he different options. He seemed to have almost everything you needed for the event. Would definitely recommend him and use for future rentals!
Dave did a great job - he was prompt, the food tasted great, he cleaned up everything - it was nicely presented. He exceeded my expectations for a small corporate event about 30 people. I would definitely use him again.
I experienced the work of Chef Geoff Cole during a Mystery Pop-up dinner at La Marque in San Diego. Geoff had created a wonderful 4 course meal which included wild salmon wellington paired with a beautiful white sauce, a ceasar salad in a parmesan tuile, and for the entree a smoked salmon stuffed chicken breast paired with the most amazing citrus jalapeno glaze and dessert was a foie grastiramsu. Chef Geoff has wonderful stories to go with each dish which made them that much more special. The whole night was a fabulous experience with delicious food, paired wine and wonderful people. The event was intimate and created the perfect date night. I would recommend having Chef Geoff cook at any dinner party or special event.
Shannon was great! My company hired her for a community Halloween event for children and we were blown away by her talent. She was able to paint every kid's face that wanted a face painting and did an outstanding job! I have not seen better face painting.
I booked Annemarie for my wedding planning services and I am so thrilled I did! I knew I needed the help and I could have NEVER have done it without her! She was so organized, insanely helpful to my family and I, fun, and such a pleasure to work with. Besides keeping me on a schedule and making sure I was having fun instead of stressing on what I needed to do next , she would approach me and let me know it was time. She made all the steps to our wedding flow flawlessly (food service, toast, dance, photos, dessert, bouquet toss). If it wasnt for her I would have been delegating and stressing my own husband and wedding party to make sure everyone else had fun. Instead I got to actually enjoy everything and have fun myself ! Priceless! She even talked me out of crying as I was about to walk down the aisle, which was a major goal of mine! AMAZING! She listened to my opinions and desires and offered advice when I needed and asked for it. She made sure I ate, which is impossible to do at your wedding. She kept everything like clockwork and with so much care and communication. I am so grateful for this woman! You are in good hands!

Being a professional musician who plays for countless weddings, private parties, and corporate events, I've seen my fair share of soirees. Kelly's stand out to me because she puts herself into every event she throws. It is obvious that she has a passion and delight for what she creates. Artist-event planner: She is first and foremost an artist, and thus every party of her's becomes a work of art, sparkling with those clever, delightful, novel details that make one giddy like a child, and bring one into the present moment. This 1920's themed party was a portal to another era where, because of our surroundings, we couldn't help but find ourselves playing in character. The decorations, table settings, poetically dripping candleabras, classic cocktails, cigars, 1920s murder mystery game, the antique frame to capture pictures inside of, and of course Kelly's hostess with the mostess charm and orchestration all evoked my inner Gatsby. We seek to party because we seek to become both transported and present; Kelly's events have a bit of magic to them, where you come home feeling like you went somewhere extraordinary, and that while you were there, you were there the whole time. A few months back my wife and I wanted to have a baby shower for our arriving little boy. The thing was we didn't want to miss anything about it especially since it was our first, so we hired Priscilla of Plan by Design Events. She took my wifes idea of an outdoor theme and completely made it extravagant. The vision we had in our mind was outdoor themed with a couple of games and maybe even a table for the guys to hang out and drink. She took it to a whole new level and set us up at Rancho Penasquitos Adobe House and the space was magnificent! The tables were these large refinished farm tables, the space was used for interactive games for the guys to play ring toss, jump houses (yea I'm a big kid), drinking games and Cornhole. It was awesome! She even managed to set up a complete bar for me to display my Moscow mule mugs as party favors and serve drinks to my guests or be a place to just lounge out. As for my wife she was stunned at the amount of detail that when into color coordination for the event and the centerpieces. Sticking with a spring and rejuvenation experience, Priscilla found a balance between what we wanted and what she and her creative team produced that really exceeded our expectations. She was also really easy to work with, helping us to book the day for the event at the Adobe house, book a taqueria for some awesome tacos, and even booking a churro vendor to serve fresh warm churros. I loved seeing my guests really pleased with the way it turned out, all without breaking the bank. I would definitely recommend Plan by Design Events to anyone and everyone! Whether it's an extravagant event or something as seemingly simple as a baby shower, she will transform your vision into a reality you could have never imagined. Absolutely beautiful work!
We had so much fun at my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party. DJ Charlie played all current dance pop and top 40 music videos on a large screen, which was the best entertainment we've had in the last several years. Charlie is very professional, I'm very happy I booked his services and I would like to have him back later on. Thank you, Charlie.
Sabrina did an excellent job planning our Thanksgiving Dinner for 21 people. She did everything she said she would do. Her caterer was superb, from quality of food to service and cleanup! Thank you all for making our Thanksgiving 2015 extra special!!!! I would hire them again....

From first contact to event's end, a top notch experience. Monique is a consummate professional who paid attention to our "vision" of the kind of event we wanted and gave excellent suggestions for our all vegetarian menu and great advice to help us stay close to our budget but still have the quality event we envisioned. We did a site visit so she could see the event space for planning on her end and she kept in close contact to check in or see if there were questions on our end. On event day, she and her partner set up the food and displays beautifully and everything was yummy and better than fabulous! I highly recommend her and hope I have the opportunity to work with on a future event!
My bestfriend lives in Texas and I live in LA and she needed me to help plan her wedding. When I brought in Alexis, everything went so much smoother and the stress was taken away from me!
