Arnoldo recently built a mid-century-modern-inspired custom credenza with coordinated bookcases and desk. We chose an exotic veneer to which he applied a blue-grey finish and it looks stunning. He designed it all from a photo of a credenza that we liked. Arnoldo is very good about listening to feedback and working around it. He clearly takes great pride in his work, so there was never a time we worried he would cut corners. He was timely, being only a week or two off our original delivery date. We already have plans to work with him on another piece.
Ralph was punctional and very good at plumbing. He installed new kitchen faucet and solved my water pressure issue. Definitely would call him again!
I was the project manager overseeing the reconstruction of the Men’s and Women’s restrooms at First Baptist Church of Indio. Edwin Vela was chosen because of his “can do” attitude and his willingness to work within our limited budget. Our bathrooms were last constructed in early 1970’s. Ed ran into many unforeseen problems, plumbing issues inside and outside of our church. Being a man of integrity, Ed stuck within our budget and tackled these issues on his own. In fact he went beyond that. In an unrelated issue he pointed out obvious water damage in a hallway due to rain; repaired it and gave advice on how to prevent re-occurrence of this issue. The project did go passed scheduled end date. However, it is understood why and welcomed. Ed went beyond his call. Tile, paint, and color schemes were based on his recommendation. We now have commercial bathrooms (both within ADA standards) that have a touch of class. He gave our bathrooms an inviting feel and softness. Ed and his employees were very respectful, easy to work with, and easy to talk to. We are very happy with the results of his work. Vela Construction did a job well done. I recommend them for your construction needs. Sean Strickland Assoc. Min First Baptist Church of Indio.
I picked ENER-TECH after reviewing other roofing contractors (on Thumbtack, and neighbor referrals). I liked that ENER-TECH was licensed and bonded, and had excellent feed back posts from previous customers. When Jeff came to the house he explained everything he would do, from permits, roofing materials,to final final inspection and walk though. Excellent communication throughout. Fast, efficient, and polite.Beautiful roof! Excellent workmanship. Would highly recommend.
Gabriel is very professional and talented. We hired him to do one project and then asked him back many times for other things. He is a perfectionist. He tiled the kitchen and two bathrooms. He also did some framing and carpentry work. We wish we would have used him for windows and cabinets and on our next project we will. Thank you Gabriel.
OMG!!! Im very happy with Brandon. I am a designer with several remodels going. My previous finish carpenter suddenly moved out of state so I was happy to find Brandon on here to fill the void. He did a great job and you will find him to be pro and very skilled.
Harold is a very knowledgeable handyman aside from being a master painter and carpenter. His intuition about any situation are always spot on! Most reliable person for fixing just about anything in the desert!
It is difficult to decide where to start on this review. Most of my contact was through Monica and through this entire process she never came to me with problems, only solutions. We did a complete remodel of a home I've owned for years and used as a rental. Budget was a huge issue based on the location and taking ROI into account. We gutted the interior, full kitchen, two bath and 3 bedroom rehab. Some walls were taken out, others were added including the replacement of a circa 1980's single door entry to a beautiful double door. All of this while staying on the budget Monica worked so hard to meet. I interviewed more than half a dozen contractors before deciding on El Sol, some of them quoted my entire budget just for the kitchen. Monica made it all happen and the only budget overruns were changes I made during the build. Her son did the kitchen back splash and his attention to detail, precision cuts and grout lines rival that of a 30 year craftsman. The timeline for the project completion was slightly delayed. Some were material issues, waiting on cabinets and other items while others were manpower with her crew spread out on other jobs. This was only a minor inconvenience when balanced out with the quality and professionalism we experienced. I'm about to start an out of state build on my retirement home and I can only hope it goes as smooth and stays on budget as well as this rehab did.
I was searching for someone with a high skill level and good taste to finish a very nice/high quality raw walnut door. I was very nervous as I wanted to make sure I got the look I wanted. I was SOOO lucky to have found Johnny! He arrived with excitement for the project as he truly loves what he does. His confidence, knowledge and skill level delivered a BEAUTIFUL door! I will now hire him on all woodworking projects for all of my clients!
We contacted a few cabinet contractors to give us a bid on building a custom entertainment center for us. Valley Custom Cabinets / Izzy got the job based on his professionalism and presentation at our first meeting. He bid a competitive price and delivered exactly what we wanted in the time frame promised. The beautiful workmanship far exceeded what we expected and we are now lifetime customers! Would definitely recommend!
She not only fauxed our fireplace and painted the wall behind it, but she also spent at least a month or more doing faux work on our round-about desktop and matching cabinets so that it looks like marble. She is very responsible and is a perfectionist and will always come back for any touch-up tthat may need doing. And she is a lovely person to work with.
