Our daughter loves her voice and piano lessons. On the other hand, our son did not want to take piano lessons at all but after a few lessons with Lynn, he decided to stay with it! How great is that! One of the things that I enjoy and appreciate is that he can reel me back in when I feel like I can accomplish a difficult piece in and a short period of time. He focuses on tools to build to create a strong foundation to become a accomplished pianist. Johnandrew is a talented teacher where he encompasses wonderful communication skills for one to understand skills and the easiest approach to succeed. These tools may seem elementary, however, in time allows one to have a solid foundation. I feel like his style of teaching is comprehensive-but comfortable and uplifting. He doesn’t have an overpowering personality that’s so driven or strict that would shadow shame and for me that’s important for creative expression and musical growth. He incorporates tools to try that I would never think of- so a bit of thinking outside of the box. It’s a bit inventive. Its certainly been a good investment for me as an older adult. There is so much to grasp in a 90 minute lesson- and I can appreciate that. He is a wonderful musician to hear as well. He’s a talented gem and I’m grateful to find him."See more
