I have had trainers before. However, never one like Megan, who cares beyond the workout. Her overall wellness lifestyle is motivating and inspirational. Her classes are filled with support and drive. I like that she is not a pushover or a Drill Sargent. Most of all she knows her stuff. She is always reading and learning, adding more credentials to her resume...and keep classes fresh and different. What she has created is a community of wellness with her blog, videos, and app. I would recommend Megan to anyone who wants to make a positive change in their life.

I have trained with Paul Harvey for 5+ years. I have been working with various trainers for 15 years total, and had never found one who understood my goals and knew how to achieve them. When I started with Paul I was 178 lbs. At 6'4" tall, that was very skinny. My goal was to put on lean muscle. I've added about 30lbs of lean muscle and have a six pack. Paul advises me on how to achieve my goals both inside the gym and at home. He is a smart guy and can carry on a conversation about more than just working-out. He makes me laugh and we have lively debates about current events. Even when I take the skills I've learned from him to my own solo workouts, I still never sweat as much as I do when I work out with Paul. He is a great motivator.
I was a little over weight and couldn't figure out why I was having so much trouble getting rid of that last little bit of fat around my stomach. I am an active guy who eats healthy and exercises regularly. I was convinced that I was doing everything right and there was nothing more I could do. I had come to the point where I told myself this was as good as I'm ever going to look and this was my body's limitation. I met with Manuk. We sat down for a consultation. He asked me about my weight training routine, my diet and my overall lifestyle, both in and out of the gym. Then we got deep. He not only wanted to know what I wanted out of fitness but also why I wanted it. I love how detail oriented he was. He seemed to genuinely care. I was a little bit caught off guard because I was just used to those trainers at big corporate gyms that all they wanted to do was sign you up for training so they can hit their monthly quota. However, I felt like Manuk was different. The consultation was unrushed. He broke down fitness in a way that really sank in for me. Finally, he mapped out a plan on how we would, "attack this obstacle." I was in and couldn't wait to start. We trained 3-4 times per week. I had a program and diet to follow and we coordinated the days to make sure we hit every muscle in my body. I had to do check-ins with him whenever I did cardio and on the days we weren't working out together to make sure I stayed on track. He would usually ask me what I ate the night before or what I was planning on eating throughout the day. Diet was a huge part of it and Manuk helped me figure out a plan that worked for me. I work long hours and I don't have the luxury of cooking every night. I loved the way my body changed. I loved how much stronger I had gotten. I loved how lean I was and most of all I loved how despite my own thoughts, I had pushed past my plateau. Manuk took my body to the next level, to say the least. Mark is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced personal trainer. He customized his approach depending on the goals that I wanted to achieve, and he always introduced new types of training so that I kept improving. Mark is punctual and ready to go no matter the time of day. Starting my days with his workouts gave me energy and significantly increased my overall well-being. I’m happy that I invested in my health and trusted Mark through this process. I would rate the quality of my training with Mark above that of Equinox or four other professional personal trainers that I worked with.
I tried for many years to get rid of my cellulite around my hips, stomach and thighs. I hired other fitness trainers that were unable to help me. Let me tell you I worked really hard with the other trainers. Blood, sweat and tears and I still had cellulite. I continued to work out by myself 3 to 4 times a week; lifting weights, jogging etc. I still could not get rid of my cellulite. It was not until I met Kathleen. Because of Kathleen I have absolutely no cellulite on my entire body and no more aches and pains. I am 52 years old and look like a teenager again. Sandy is not your typical trainer but shes a good one! She doesnt yell at you and push you until you cry. Rather she counts your reps, cracks a joke, or talks to you to make the session time pass quickly. She keeps things from getting stale by never doing the exact same exercises in consecutive meetings. Sandy knows so many exercise variations that she will adapt your training if you dont like a particular exercise or want to focus on improving one thing or another. She is also one of the few trainers that is willing to come to your house or a local park to train you. I highly recommend her. Shell get you into better shape if youre willing to put in the effort too.
I've had a wonderful experience training with Rochelle over the past three months. In this short time the results I've seen following her training and diet plan have transformed me into a healthier, happier and more confident person. I hired Rochelle after noting a trend of weight gain as a result of a sedentary job. She is thorough in her evaluation, very motivating, and challanges you to achieve the goals you have set. As a result I now have some abs for the first time in my life!!! I seriously can't believe it! Rochelle's passion for her profession is very apparent in how well she treats her clients. I've tried a few different personal trainers at big gyms over the years, but none as great as Steve. He pushes you hard and motivates you in a positive way. He's a great conversationalist and every workout is different so it's never boring. Steve is knowledgeable about everything fitness related and customizes his plan for you -- even working through your diet and nutrition. One of the most important things that Steve does is always watches form to maximize results and prevent injury.
We have been training with Shoshanna since March. My daughters and I have worked with trainers before however, it never stuck. Shoshanna has a way of keeping us motivated and encouraging us to stick with it. Shoshanna has specialized workouts for each of us and they have been extremely effective. We have not lost a ton of weight but, we are toned and we have lost inches. She is very good at what she does but, she will not take it easy on you. She will push you and you will have muscles hurt that you didn't even know you had but, I ALWAYS feel great after a workout with Shoshanna!! We are very lucky to have found her!!!
Jacob trained me for 6 months and this being my first experience hiring a personal trainer, I was nervous about the experience. Jacob made me feel comfortable from the start and what I appreciated was the fact that he took the time to educate me about what the excersise or activity will accomplish. In addition, he performs a lot of different activities at every session so you will never be bored of doing routine training. I highly recommend him especially for first timers. I lost a total of 30 pounds and 10% body fat training with him for the 6 months but most importantly felt good about my fitness once again.
GOAT Fitness totally changed my attitude towards physical fitness. Rather than "exercise" at GOAT Fitness we TRAIN. Understanding the difference of a strength & conditioning PROGRAM like those offered at GOAT Fitness, compared to the exercise I did at my old personal training facility explains the difference in results. My old gym was pretty common to most "Exercise to the point of suffering while on a strict diet" I lost some weight. What my old gym did was made me dread my workouts, I was burned out, hungry, and unmotivated. Here the training sessions are physically demanding, but focused on strength goals, on pushing towards maximum performance rather than exhaustion. I've been a committed satisfied client for 6 months, I've lost 15 pounds, decreased my body fat from 26% to 19%, I went from a size 10 to a size 6. After I changed my focus from "punishing" my body with restricted calories and endless cardio at my old gym to STRENGTHENING my body at GOAT Fitness I've hit fitness milestones I never would've thought possible. Nicole is a fantastic fitness trainer, she pays attention to the details and knows how to help me get to my goals. I have made gains that I couldn't have done without her. Dan is a very knowledgeable and experienced trainer. I trained with Dan for 11 years before he moved away and I’m happy to have the opportunity to workout with him again. Obviously I’m a dedicated fan of his workout protocol! I highly recommend him!
Lamar has been an excellent trainer. He brings a lot of great experience to our sessions. I have some physical limitations, and he has been amazingly proactive reactive researching alternative exercises and/or modifications to make the exercises productive and effective for me without inflaming the issue. He's very good at communicating between sessions to determine what is working and what doesn't. I would highly recommend Lamar to anyone looking for a great trainer.
