Working with Juan was a terrific experience. He is very transparent about setting expectations: what is he going to do, how is going to do it and how long will it take. He will get the work done in a timely and clean manner. We were able to book him in advance (which was about 2 weeks prior) but I understand he will do his best to accommodate clients on a shorter notice. If you have been struggling with other handymen/contractors (as I was!) I truly recommend you to use Juan's services - he is super easy to work with and very reliable.

Nicki guided us through an upgrade to our kitchen. She's skilled in suggesting appropriate colors, and was able to keep me from flailing all over the place staying in the correct "time period" within our Victorian home. That was huge because I was all over the map and needed to tethered. My husband was often distracted with work so often Nicki and I slogged through selecting appliances, tiles, mable counter tops and paint colors. She also works with a wonderful team of artisans, cabnet builder, seamstress, and many other skilled workers. In the end we love our beautiful new kitchen and will work with her again. However, the project that was worrisome was with the marble counte tops. They are beautiful and a good choice, but we just needed to know more about the process of transforming a big slab of marble into counter tops. It was way more than I thought. There was a moment when construction was almost halted because fabricating the marble into counter tops had not been given proper consideration in regards to the amount of time the process took. Nicki ultimately came to the rescue, finding someone on short notice. That was our only hiccup. We loved working with Nickie and certainly recommend her to others.

I hired them to lay the engineered bamboo floor in my condo. They did exactly what promised and in the time they originally specified. I have been doing remidelling and construction of my rentals and my resident for the last 10 years and very much familiar with the business. Out if many contractors or handymen i met Jason and Regina are the outstanding team. They work fast, they are very proactive and attentive to details. And their price was reasonable. What is the most important for me is that they do listen to my suggestions - not like many macho style contractors:). The floor work looks absolutely great and i am very happy. So that i would like to hire them for other work on my rental property.

Peter has the eye of an upscale designer with good insight of what works best. He and his crew have done a master bathroom redo that exceeded our expectations, crown molding install, kitchen upgrades, a hillside tiled deck and storage and we are not finished yet. Quality workmanship.

Sergey of Wise Stage of Remodeling was an amazing choice. We had a complete remodel of a two bedroom condo in pac heights. Sergey put in new hardwood floors, completely redid two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The project came in on budget and on time, and Sergey was super communicative through out the entire process. He is an intelligent problem solver. We ended up firing our designer a few weeks into the project and Sergey picked out all the finishing materials (recessed cans, baseboards, door hardware, etc) and we're super happy with his choices. His team was also very amazing and helpful. They all work really well together and pays attention to detail. Our new home is beautiful,and built with care. We totally recommend and will hire again.

After 4 estimates from different general contractors for gutting & redoing our interior, adding an extension & rooftop deck.... we were filled with stories of complications, long delays (like 6 months of construction) and very high estimates that carried no guarantee of what it might actually cost in the end. We chose who seemed most reasonable & the first 2 weeks we just felt like we were being milked. The contractor spent more time explaining problems than offering & implementing solutions. THEN CAME Refresh and Build :) We decided to split the jobs between renovations & new construction & hired Refresh & Build for the new construction. The contrast of work progress & enthusiasm was unbelievable. Within a week the team took over, completed EVERYTHING in 2.5 months at half the budget others had given us. I highly recommend Refresh & Build!

First of all I would like to point out that I don't usually take the time to post reviews but I felt for this occasion I would. My experience with Anthony and his crew was above and beyond expectations. We had a small kitchen fire and dealing with the insurance was a nightmare. Anthony stayed patient and flexible in changing start dates due to us receiving funds. Once started they completed the job on the day he said they would and the workmanship was impressive. Anthony had won me over from the first time we met with his professionalism and positive attitude. He was very easy to work with and offered suggestions. To add to this I had received a number of estimates and this estimate was by far the best and what I believed to be more than fair. About a month later I had another small job that needed attention and Anthony lent his support for a fee that I'm not sure that he made any profit on. He is very intent on making his customers happy and keeping them that way. If you ever have a need, give Anthony a shot at it, you won't be sorry.

I hired IKB Stone for some light kitchen remodeling (replace countertops + install new appliances) and they were fantastic to work with. They were excellent at communication throughout the project with things like pricing and timing, and their quality of work was super high. I had some nitpicky asks at the end as well and they took care of it no problem. I would definitely recommend them to work with.

Kikko and his crew has done a great job in my kitchen! Kikko made sure he didn't bother me and left me alone as much as possible. He asks for my preference on some things before he installs / cuts them; he didn't let me lift a thing even though I offered to help. When they leave every day, they make sure the area is clean and swept. He and his crew know what they are doing; your ikea kitchen is safe in his hands!

Shaz manages his jobs well and is always available to reach with a question regarding the project. We renovated our kitchen and as the project progressed more problems arose due to the aging condition of our house. Shaz evaluates the pros and cons and encouraged us to make repairs that would improve and extend the life of our kitchen and house. He continued to think about the project in his off hours and often came to us the next day with a solution to space concerns in our design that we hadn't thought of. Even though there were a few hiccups during the process, my husband and I are very happy with the end result. I truly enjoy cooking in my new kitchen. Thanks Shaz.

Aldo is absolutely wonderful to work with! We purchased our home in 2014 and he has led three different renovation projects for us since then. And, when we save up for our next round of renovations, we will certainly go to him again! What we appreciate most about Aldo is his honesty and warm nature. He never led us astray, never tried to overcharge us, and never tried to get us to do more work than we needed do. He was open and upfront throughout the entire process for each project. He was also warm, friendly, and so easy to work with. Before we started our first round of renovations, many people warned us about contractors who would extend timelines. But Aldo is amazing when it comes to timelines! He sticks to them! We also love how responsive Aldo is. Whenever we texted him with questions or updates regarding our project, he immediately responded. And this is all on top of doing beautiful work!! We highly recommend Aldo!!
