Chef Trang has been an absolute rock star for our family, and we truly could not have asked for anything better. She joined our household for a few months to provide additional support, and from the very beginning, she exceeded every expectation. One of the things that stood out most was Chef Trang’s communication. She is prompt, responsive, easy to work with, and made the entire planning process feel effortless. She thoughtfully planned our weekly dinners, prepared breakfasts and lunches for both myself and my children, handled all of the grocery shopping, and ultimately made our daily lives so much easier. We initially asked for simple, home-cooked meals, but Chef Trang elevated every dish to restaurant-quality. We've enjoyed everything from Japanese and Korean to Italian cuisine to BBQ, and some delectable desserts. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, modified for individual needs, and mouth-watering. Beyond her cooking, Chef Trang brought a level of care, organization, and professionalism that made having a personalchef such a wonderful experience. Chef Trang has an amazing ability to create both beautiful food, as well as amazing flavors. She put together a fantastic menu, was able to accommodate food allergies/preferences, while creating plates that were aesthetically pleasing.

It was a pleasure to have chef Trang cook for our bachelorette party. She is communicative and professional. Our group loved every dish she prepared for us. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Be ready to hire. Be professional and responsive to correspondence. My per person minimum is $120 food only. DOES NOT INCLUDE LABOR, TAX, GRATUITY, and possible delivery charges. All rental charges are paid by the Client. Total food & beverage minimum is $1,000.00 per event. Be committed to hire and the date you've chosen within 5 days of contact. Be respectful of my time and I'll be respectful of yours. Every lead costs me $70 so please no frivolous questions that are answered in these sections.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love getting to know my clients with some initial consultations to better understand their needs. I take it upon myself to help them develop their desires into executable plans with my twist. I write a customized menu for all clients. There are no cookie cutter menus like all the chefs here on Thumbtack as I've been told by all my clients. Yours will be a customized experience to exceed your expectations and allow your guests of honor be the star of the showand food and service but excellent supporting actors of your gathering.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
AA in Culinary Arts, 30 yrs in industry at high level. I've worked at an executive chef for Wolfgang Puck, Andrew Zimmern, Bradley Ogden, Michael Mina, Suzanne Goin, Ludo Lefevre, and on properties such as Fairmont Grand Del Mar, Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Caesars Palace, The Wynn, The Venetian, The Cosmopolitan, Waldorf Astoria Phoenix, and many other brands as a consultant.
