I'm not the greatest in writing reviews. All I can say, is that Stephen is great. He applies the correct pressures. I'm not in pain afterwards like othe massages I received in the past. Yet the "knots" and "kinks" are improved. My massages are excellent. I just want to take a nap afterwards! Stephen is the complete package I was looking for - wholistic, Reiki, yoga etc.
Melissa is a great yoga instructor; nurturing for beginners and also challenging for experienced yoga practicers. And she brings fun, energy, and caring to the class. I took her class weekly for a couple years and learned a lot from her.

I've loved yoga for a long time and I really wanted to deepen my practice. I took Holly's vinyasa flow class at Equinox. I loved her style and we decided to work together one on one. Now Im doing hand stand at the wall! I really appreciate how Holly breaks down the poses and, even when Im thinking "no way", she always helps me experience what part of the pose i CAN do. Its super fun and empowering.
I typically practice yoga in SF, but when in the East Bay...I do as yogis do & enter the world of serenity & positivity at So Yoga & Healing🙏🏼 The marvelous Margaret led her classes with constant professionalism with a welcoming & casual approach. I appreciate how her classes begin with student participation honoring special requests (e.g. focus on lower body, hips, core, etc.) or considerations (e.g. those with ankle injuries, weak backside, etc.). Most especially, I enjoy each closing savasana that allows one to decompress mentally, emotionally, physically - this is made possible because of Margaret's subtle, yet effective use of aromatherapy oils, a sweet treat every time! And lastly, what makes this class astounded original is the rhythmic beats of reggae tunes accompanying nearly each asana that Margaret carefully guides her students through: cannot wait until the next time & that's for real mon! Jenn's great at making yoga interesting and accessible. She explains each of the poses really well and always offers modifications for people who need them (beginners, people with injuries, etc.). Yoga with her is always a fun and enjoyable experience.
Melissa is an amazing yoga instructor. She is always reminding us of our limitless potential, takes us to the edge and just when you feel like you are ready to shy away her bright energy keeps you going and yet at the same time she allows you to feel very comfortable to adapt the poses to your level of ability and makes it ok to take a child's pose whenever you need it. I love the way she gives us the proper name for the poses and the mental and physical benefits too. She keeps me inspired with her fit and flexible body and every time I do her class I know that I am moving more in that direction with my own body.
I especially appreciate Angela's skills in helping me deal with my physical limitations. By altering poses or using props, she always attends to my specific restrictions (and does the same for her other students). Thanks to Angela, I can do more poses to greater benefit.
