Bella H. says, "I have been wanting to learn a 1:1 boxing class to get in shape and learn self-defense at the same, but I wasn’t sure where to find a great boxing coach until I visited the Thumbtack platform and found All About Athletics. I have been working with my coach Jonathan for a month now and it has been great so far. -He is knowledgeable and teaches the right way of how boxing works, techniques, etc. - He is so patient with me as a newbie myself. I understand sometimes it can be hard teaching someone who never had any experience in boxing but he is always patient. - He motivates me all the time and I like that. I need it to keep going since training can be difficult for me. - He communicates clearly and effectively. He effectively communicates his knowledge to me in a way I understand, digest and act upon, which is very helpful. - He understands me, and my goals and doing the best he can to help achieve them. - He is also flexible. He works with my schedule and he is always on time. What I really appreciate the most is when I told him that our meeting place to do the class is kinda far from me because I don’t drive, Jonathan offered to service me at my place so he’s been coming to me 3 times per week which is pretty amazing. - Also, he is passionate about what he does too. Priyanka A. says, "I train here with Favian twice a week. I waited till he had a spot open on his schedule because he is that good! I used to train with him around 10 years back, but took a break for a few years. When I decided to get back to it, I didn't want to train with anybody but Favian. I can see a difference in my energy levels and my strength in just 9 months. What seemed strenuous a few months back, I am surprised how easily I can do those workouts now. As a trainer, he meets you where you are. I enjoy boxing, but I am not so fond of running so he finds ways to incorporate boxing in our workouts. Every week, every session the workouts are different. This keeps things interesting. My 6 year old attends a class that Dante takes. It is a conditioning class for little kids. Dante 'game-ify's everything so the kids do not realize they are doing intense athletic conditioning drills. He manages to maintain healthy competition between the kids so they learn to compete, win and lose in a fun, light setting. My son looks forward to Dante's class every week. I can already see a shift in his attitude. The facility itself is well equipped. It has everything that a good gym has, and more. But again the best part of this place is the trainers - Dante and Favian. I love coming here each week! This place is a gem."See more
