Great company - came right out and helped me get correct diagnosis of problem. They were original installers of my pebble-tec 15 years ago. Only downside is that they are booked out 3 months for repairs, so won't be fixed for awhile. Luckily we can minimize the leak during that time.

It didn't work out. The person sent out wouldn't write out an estimate. I am interviewing other pool repair companies to first time I ever have ever heard someone say they won't give the free estimate because they won't get paid properly for it by their company. Home Advisor has sent people out to my place to inspect Air and Heat services, and another couple of companies for roofing; and their services were great. Some estimates were expensive, but they gave a professional and realistic cost for all repairs. I got itemized lists from companies and different points of view, and it really helped my wife and I on developing a plan and strategy to pay for the repairs, as well as to see which company seemed to have the greatest level of professionalism, expertise and concern for customer service. Background: Josh came out and took a look and said the work would be around $20,000 in repairs. I told him that's probably too much in one shot, but I wanted to work in phases. I asked what he would do to repair the pool. He started to give me a list of things that needed repair, and I was about to grab a pen to start writing them down, but I remembered this is a free estimate. I asked if he would provide an itemized quote for the repairs. That's when he said he would not do it, because it would be "unrealistic to write out a list of the items because he gets paid on realistic estimates." I was taken back by that. Of course I want a realistic, itemized list of repairs to compare with others. If your service people get paid on getting expensive quotes then where is the unbiased, objective approach to customer service? It makes them self-serving and not customer oriented. I don't want work with a company that has a business model like that.
