Sergey did an exceptional job. He was communicative, responsive, and on time; he also came fully prepared with all of the tools he needed to complete the job. He got the everything done quickly (hung up 3 seperate curtain rods in my bay window in under 45 minutes), and his prices were also very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. Highly recommend Sergey!

Matthew was so great to work with. He installed a butcher block countertop over my washer/dryer, (which had some complexities to it), hung some floating shelves, installed window hardware, etc. He has a good eye for detail, let's you know what his approach to a solution will be before doing it so you can be involved in the process, and he does a great job! I would definitely hire him again!

We were referred to Kepper by our designer. He came out to do an estimate for installing a kitchen floor and backsplash. He spent an hour with us answering lots of questions and helping us through layout ideas. His bid came in a bit higher but we felt very comfortable that Kepper would keep an eye on every detail. Our tile and backsplash were installed last week and we decided to stay out of the house until done. The workmanship was spot on. They were able to do a great job in spite of the sub-floor which wasn't very level and not very square. We have lived with the tile for 2 days and cannot find any imperfections. The back splash is very large glass tiles and also are flawless. After he finished first project we ask him build additional room for us.It was involve foundation, framing electrical and plumbing. He and his crew was very professional and hard workers. My wife and i very happy!!! That all.

Our dishwasher would not drain despite all of the previous suspects (i.e. broken garbage disposal) working well. Nick came in the day after we spoke, was prompt, assessed the situation thoroughly and carefully, then fixed the dishwasher pump (there was glass blocking the fan, somehow). He was clean, organized, and careful throughout. I definitely recommend Nick/ImHandy!

Noel was great at fixing the broken pane of our glass door. He completed the project as committed despite a heavy storm on the day and as per the budget he has quoted. Would strongly recommend!

Had some rot around the side entrance to my garage. I could see that it went beyond just the door frame. Working six days a week made Sunday the only time I could be around. No problem for Fred. Came over punctually, had all the necessary tools and material ready to go. We had spoken about the job in length before, and so he even had a new door ready to go on the first trip out. Replaced the door, frame, and a portion of the mud sill. He did it all from the inside, so there was no extensive repair on the siding. He had the whole thing done in about 4 hours. He was going to come back once the sheetrock mud dried and finish painting the wall and trim, but he had already saved me so much time and money I felt guilty. I like to paint anyhow, so I just did it myself the next day. Great job!

I hired Jasper from My Apartment Is Better Than Yours. I think they did a terrific job at a very reasonable price. I'm really pleased that I decided to go with them. I had a number of unusual carpentry tasks to complete when I moved to my new place. The windows were old and the wood was irregular and moldy, so the wood around the antique glass panels needed to be replaced. I was told those windows hadn't been opened in 40 years, but now they work perfectly and you'd never know the wood wasn't original. Also, several doorways lacked doors when I moved in, and were unusual rounded shapes cut into the stucco without doorframes. Jasper was able to make me custom doors with antique iron-wrought handles, and they look awesome. I also needed threshholds worked on, cabinets put up, new benches made for my roof deck, a custom projector and screen put in, antique chandeliers installed, a lock repaired... and I'm probably forgetting one or two things. They are in the process of putting the finishing touches on my humidor (they had to build me custom legs for it), and it's going to look spectacular. Anyway, they knocked it all out of the park. They were prompt and clean and didn't cause much of a disturbance despite all the work they were doing. They'll be my go-to for anything I need done in the future. I definitely recommend them.

Juan remodeled our unfinished attic space (about 700+ sq ft) from top to bottom and turned it into a new office studio. He laid out the framework, ran electrical wires, put up insulation and drywall, painted and stained, added window trim, installed hardwood flooring and baseboards, and added storage cabinets. He was able to finish our attic in three weeks, and for a very reasonable price. He is a very hard worker, and really creative with his solutions. He always had helpful advice for me when I wasn't sure what decisions to make. He is now our go to contractor when we need work done around the house. I highly recommend him for his work quality, professional etiquette, and ease of communication. I am very happy with the work he is done, and can't wait to work with him again.

I had a challenging renovation project to trim out some doors and windows because every surface was irregular. After reviewing work from many general carpenters, it was clear these guys had real finish carpentry skills. For each window and door, they took the time to figure out the best way to approach and then did super high quality work and now everything looks great. Pricing was also very competitive. Hoping to use Barsesat for a cabinet project in the near future.

Adrian arrived within the time interval he promised, replaced the window as well as a window can be replaced, cleaned up pretty well and was paid exactly the amount he quoted me. I can't think of how this transaction could have gone any smoother.

Jessie and Max are awesome! I had windows framed, doors cut and installed a fireplace mantle with brick changed to a wood mantle and trim. Their craftsmanship is superb, they are honest, friendly and I will definitely hire them again for all projects. Not to mention the price was at my price point.

Siding and window replacement. Kris did a really good job keeping the project on track despite bad weather and problems with the window vendor. My neighbors both admire the result of his work, and his conscience work habits.

I hired Marc to fix a frameless glass shower door that had slipped over time. This is a very heavy glass door that was very difficult for me to fix on my own. I tried and failed. Then I called Marc. He got in touch with me promptly and quoted me for one hour of work ($80) to fix the door. It actually took him a little longer, so he asked for $120, which I thought was fair, considering my door is larger than average and harder to fix. He worked hard, was knowledgable, and personable. $80/hour is a bit steep, but I'd probably still hire Marc for future handy work around the house. I recommend you give him a call if you need something fixed.

Ryan responded within an hour or two of posting and came right over to take a look at our broken window. After heading back out to get a freshly cut piece of glass and his tools, it was a quick job - less than an hour - to replace the pane. He did a beautiful job; I can hardly tell the difference from before. He also left me with a razor blade to clean up one or two places where paint was left on the glass once it dried; I thought that was a nice touch.

Michael painted the front of my 1955 cape cod and porch. He restored the French windows and the siding to like new. Wonderful job of prep. He used an oil based paint that has held up perfectly. It made such a difference. When he was done, he left no mess. No drips on porch floor, all materials cleaned up. He was booked up when I wanted to finish the garage. I did it myself and the quality of my work was noticeably lower. He took the time to come buy free of charge to give me some pointers. This guy is a pro.
