I hired Exceptionally Yours Weddings & Events for dance lessons and as a day-of coordinator for my out-of-town wedding. Crystal handled our dance lessons and preliminary day-off planning, and Storm acted as our day-of coordinator. My now husband and I were very happy with the service we received from both. Crystal is especially knowledgeable and was instrumental in ensuring things were taken care of beforehand, and Storm was wonderful at dealing with the hectic day-of events. I even got compliments from both guests and other vendors on Storm's professionalism and responsiveness! I would highly recommend them, as they great at what they do and are very affordable for the area.

My wife and I started taking dance lessons with Alexis about one month before our daughter’s wedding two and a half years ago. Although we had no dance experience before we started, Alexis got us sufficiently prepared so that we were able to dance with some confidence. After the wedding we continued our lessons at Alexis’ urging and after about 18 months she convinced us to compete in the newcomer amateur couples division which was quite an accomplishment considering how uncoordinated we were at the start. Since then we competed in a couple more competitions under Alexis’ expert guidance. She is an amazing instructor who seems to know every dance style and every detail of footwork and body position. Needless to say she is an accomplished dancer with an incredible flair and personality on the dance floor. Even though she has been our only teacher I have been able to observe other instructors with their students and her teaching style is far superior to anyone I’ve seen. It’s obvious she enjoys both teaching and dancing. Her students range in age from young to old, at various ability levels. She has even taught students with physical disabilities, showing how accomplished and professional she is. If anyone is even just considering taking lessons they should take at least one lesson from her and they’ll be hooked. She’s funny, inspiring, and a perfectionist, but not in a heavy handed way. I can’t imagine taking lessons from anyone else!!

It does not get better than these guys. We left our dance lessons till a week before wedding but still had high ambitions ( go figure) and somehow these two pros (not just in dancing but in kindness and communication...and realism) helped us achieve our dream dance in a realistic and effortless way. As a bride to have a professional actually behave professionally and take a burden off your shoulders and not just meet but exceed your high expectations the way they did is something I will forever be grateful for.

Mark taught my husband and I our first dance for our multicultural wedding. My husband and I had no prior dance training, and are both definitely the "wallflower" type. Thinking of the first dance caused both of us a lot of anxiety. Until Mark came in and changed our whole world and whole perception of how fun dance can be. Mark was always patient, an outstanding teacher, and truly made our first dance special. Our wedding was a multi-day event with numerous ceremonies and traditions from families of two distinct cultures. But dance lessons with Mark were a welcome respite from the hectic planning of the wedding. Mark taught us more than just dancing, he taught my husband and I to establish "connection", teamwork, and trust through dance! Now, my husband and I love to dance and it has become part of our lives, all thanks to Mark. I highly recommend Mark. He is an excellent teacher and you will love every minute of your dance lessons!

Arianna is a great dance instructor. She was very prompt in her communication to me and was able to choreograph a dance with very short notice. I enjoyed my session with her and had a lot of fun learning my dance for my husband on our wedding day. She was very helpful and open to making changes that I needed or wanted. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of dance lessons!

One of my first teachers- made me love the sport and I still use the things I learned to this day. So many years later after taking lessons with so many people, I realize how truly professional he was and how much heart and soul he continues to put into his students. Aside from personal talent, he has abundant knowledge for the art of dance. 11/10 teacher, friend, supporter.

Working With Sam Allen was the most amazing experience. Sam gave me private Hip Hop dance lessons and was phenomenal. He was encouraging, patient, and pushed me to my highest potential. Sam was accommodating, professional, and made me feel like a super star. He teaches at your pace and to your ability. I learned so much and had so much fun at the same time. I highly recommend Sam to anyone of all ages and levels of experience. There is no better teacher out there.

Adrienne is an amazing dance instructor. Of course, she can teach you the basics, but what sets her apart is her ability to recognize your strengths and weaknesses and works with each. She clearly understands the nuance of dancing, foot work, weight shifts and timing, and how important they are to become the kind of dancer you want to be, should you want to compete professionally or just feel comfortable on any dance floor. She she has the ability to explain clearly and concisely what she wants you to do and how to get there. Just take one dance lesson with her, and you will never want anyone else to teach you. I guarantee it.

Artemi is an excellent dance teacher/coach. He takes the time to listen to his student's needs and goals. From that he bases his lesson plans. His private and group lessons are taught in segments and build on those segments so a beginner or advanced student can learn and grow. As a professional dancer, he has the knowledge and talent to work with his students on proper technique, physical strength, choreography, musicality and much more. He does this in a caring, supportive and fun way. But he also can be strict especially if preparing a student for a showcase or competition. Artemi is trained in American and International Latin and Ballroom dances. He also performs and competes proefssional with his partner pro dancer Erica Arnold. This helps him keep on top of his profession to then share with his students. I have grown as a person and dancer because of Artemi. He has helped me physically and mentally in my life. I look forward to my lessons whether it is to focus on technique, strengthen my core and/or just dance. As such, I would highly recommend Artemi Okunev.

I couldn't be happier finding Dance Daly Ballroom, not only for my immediate need for help with my Cha-Cha dance moves because I'm doing a choreographed dance with my son (the mother-son dance), but because I want to learn ballroom for fun, confidence, for my new 2nd career (trying to get into Commercials, and ballroom dancing is great on the resume), so after this wedding, I'm definitely going to join! Both Sveta, the studio manager and her husband Jason, the owner, are so kind, warm and welcoming. Jason was my instructor at my first intro (free) lesson, and he was so patient and helpful and professional - I felt comfortable, not nervous at all, and he shared a variety of tips to help me remember my steps, plus gave me plenty of positive reinforcement when I "got it" right! I really appreciated the package deal he gave me, with a first-time customer discount, so I could afford to take 5 lessons between now and the wedding in 3 weeks! Check them out. It's an awesome studio.

Ally, is a great person.dancer and teacher. We meet her back in 2016 in a park class, they did a competition and won; after that she didn't return to teach at the park(sad). But my daughter wanted to keep dancing, we look for some places and try but didn't like it. So I was following Ally in Instagram and reach at her about private lessons and we are happy with her.

    About

Hi! My name is Darren Wong and I am a member of the Kinjaz from NBC's World of Dance Season 1. With over 14 years of dance experience, I pride myself on sharing the knowledge I have been fortunate enough to learn with dancers of all skill levels. Most dance instructors have no organization to their courses and lessons plans for their individual students. I believe that this "random" lesson plan type of teaching is very unproductive and not beneficial for the students. If the students are not using what they learned from the previous lesson, then they are not growing as dancers. I love helping students reach the goals that they have set for themselves. As long as my students are having fun and progressing in their dance skills, I couldn't be happier.

Awesome place for kids to learn and master the art of music... My daughter took guitar, piano and voice lessons... Unfortunately we had to move and she can no longer attend... I wish they would open a location near Riverside so my daughter could continue with her art education... If you're looking for professional and affordable music classes for your kids then Piano Place Music and Arts Center is the right place for them. I am happy that my daughter had the opportunity to be a student at this family owned music school and I hope she can come back in the near future..... Beautiful family and very nice/professional teachers!

How much do dance lessons cost?

Adults who want to learn to dance, whether to prepare for a wedding or to meet new people, often enjoy taking dance lessons from an experienced dance instructor. Instructors may offer classes one-on-one to individual students or couples, or to small groups. The national average cost for a dance instructor ranges from $30 to $50. Some studios offer a discounted introductory lessons or group lessons, as well as package deals that are more affordable than paying for individual lessons.
