My son is in 4th grade and math is not his strongest subject. I had a tutor for him near the end of 3rd grade and the first part of 4th grade and something was off. I researched some options and wanted to find a tutor that specialized in math and was familiar with common core. When I came across Michael and read his excellent reviews I felt that I needed to give him a shot. I am glad I did. He has been helping my son with math for a little over a month now and the results have been great! My son is definitely feeling more confident and understanding the fundimentals thanks to Michael. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a math tutor! Amy
My daughter is a 9th grader at Point Loma High School. She transferred from a private Catholic school and has never seen the Integrated Math that they now offer in the public schools system. She has always battled math anxiety and I was very worried with the new math being offered. I was referred to Nina from a mutual friend right before school started and my daughter instantly bonded with her. She felt so at ease with Nina and she explained things in a way that she could easily understand. Nina even went so far as to attain a copy of her math book and reached out to her teacher. I am so very happy to say my daughter received an A her first semester and is maintaining an A in her second semester. I have recommended Nina to other students who are having a positive result as well. If you are looking for a math tutor - Nina is the best!
Excellent!!!! I would highly recommend Fabian for tutoring or translation work.
I was signed up to take a Kaplan course for GMAT prep and was talking to a co-worker about it when they told me their story. They took one of the same Kaplan courses I was signed up to take and didn't get their desired GMAT score. In their second attempt, they signed up for private tutoring with John Easter, one of Elite Home Tutoring tutors, and their GMAT score improved by over 100 points. After hearing this story, I called to cancel my Kaplan class & signed up with Elite Home Tutoring, with a special request to work with John. During my studies, I decided that I wanted to take the GRE instead of the GMAT. I explained this to my tutor John and to Eric at Elite Home Tutoring and the change was so simple. John is not only skilled in GMAT prep but GRE prep as well. So the only thing that would need to change were the materials. If you're looking for the best resources for test prep I highly recommend Elite Home Tutoring. I have no complaints!

We love Ms. Konie! Our 9 year old son has Fragile X and struggles in both writing and math. We have been seeing Konie twice a week for the last six months. She continues to work tirelessly to keep her tutoring sessions interesting and engaging for our son. And we continue to see improvements in his ability to organize his thoughts and write cohesive paragraphs. We would recommend Konie to everyone!
Brendan is awesome with our son. He manages concepts and makes math fun and practical and interactive. Brendan is clearly a teacher who is motivated by seeing kids learn. Very happy Mom!
I recently hired Trevor to help me with my algebra class and thanks to him, I passed it. Algebra was so foreign to me but I had to take it for nursing school. If it wasn't for Trevor, I don't think I could have passed the class on my own. He was so knowledgeable and clearly explained how to work out the math problems. Trevor was very flexible with my work schedule and was always on time. He really helped me a lot and I would highly recommend him. His hourly rate was very affordable which allowed me a few hours a week with him. Trevor was so nice and patient with me, I would definitely hire him again in the future.
Joe Cha is an awesome tutor! He is always patient and helps move things forward in a good atmosphere. I think that helped me get more motivated and do much better on my math this year.
Very nice and is able to help me.

I tutor mainly K-6 in all subjects, but I also tutor math -- prealgebra, algebra and Algebra 2. My strength as a tutor is helping students with subject content according to individual strengths, studying strategies and techniques, and development and evaluation of materials. I want to be able to build on their weakness and help them grow to success.

I am a research associate at a medical research laboratory. I have received the degree of bachelor of science (B.S.) in biology from SDSU with molecular and cellular biology emphasis. As I prepare myself for professional school to become a practicing physician, I am devoted to helping you to achieve your own success in school and life. I excel in math and science, and I am able to help with high school and college level courses, including mathematics, chemistry, physics, and biology. I have recently scored 1450/1600 (Verbal 650/800 + Quantitative 800/800) at a 95 percentile for my GRE (Graduate Record Examination). Besides math and science, I am also fluent in Chinese. As a Deans List student from college of science and a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-professional Honor society (AED), I have gained good reasoning skill and formed fine learning habit over the course of my college study. Now, I will pass my knowledge and experience to you! Comparing to a step-by-step tutorial solution manual, I focus on the techniques and methods for problem analyzing, as well as integration and application of related concepts in addition to problem solving. I have been a private in-home tutor for over 3 years, and have been listed as an advising tutor at SDSU Pre-professional Health Advising Office (PPHA). The students I have worked with all felt the sessions are very helpful. I have been told that I have a very easy-going and patient personality by students and parents, and I enjoy spending quality time developing the friendship with my students to discuss issues related to their school and life. Aside from the improvement in grades, many students were benefited and showed improvement in their learning habit, time management, and organization skills. If you need any help, please feel free to contact me. I am sure that the time we spend is going to be very valuable to both you and me! Sincerely, Hunter Wang Learning Advantage
