Quick response, hauled away items immediately. Nice to come home to a clean porch!
Carruth Home Solutions framed and installed a sliding door for my master bedroom. They did a fantastic job and they rewired an electrical outlet and installed a porch light for the new door. My door looks amazing and they had fabulous customer service and were very responsive. I highly recommend them and I will defintely hire them again.
So happy we hired Tom! He built, installed, and painted a small railing for our porch - very satisfied with the workmanship. He was very professional, efficient, timely and trustworthy. We highly recommend him.
Todd moved a spa and removed a deck. He was thorough and cleared the site completely and even disconnected the spa wiring in a way that it can be reused in the future. I will hire him again.
Barry installed a new roof on my deck. His work is excellent, he was on time, and met all of my specifications to the "T". I'll definitely contact Future Construction again for my next project!
Max is truly outstanding. He constructed a deck for our hot tub. He arrived on time, competed the job ahead of schedule and did excellent work. He is polite and skilled as a craftsman. He cleaned up the mess before leaving. I highly recommend him.
Garrett and his team built an amazing deck and replaced windows with french doors for us. He was extremely easy to work and I would him recommend highly. A great communicator.
They installed can lights in my front room, repaired my gazebo roof and installed 80 feet of fence. All done as promised, when promised. Great work!
1 review 6/11/2017 Professional, efficient, and affordable. They also have an ingenious billing system that allowed me to control expenses and monitor day to day activities. This was critical to me as I live four hours from the project site and could not check work in person. I received daily reports on status and costs. Buying blocks of time, and paying for materials in real time, keeps the project costs from getting out of hand. My project consisted of 1. removing dry rot from leaking French doors in second floor bedroom and on balcony, 2. replacing subflooring and balcony deck, 3. removing and replacing replacing a wooden gate, 4. removing and replacing garage side door, 5. painting deck, gate, and interior molding, 6. removing French doors, and 7. hauling away debris. I will definitely hire Spectrum again!
Toure of Ray's Handyman put my 55" TV on the wall. It looks great and professional. He cleaned up after himself and even planned to paint the wall after patching the holes he needed to hide the wires and cables. He arrived on time and did a great job. I planned to hire him again to help build a deck and office in my backyard.
Nate has done a great job in doing a deck on a very difficult sloppy terrain. The deck size ~900 sq. feet. The deck was done using redwood, the railing was very creative solution as the products in the store were very expensive. The railing was custom and so was the whole deck.
Evergreen Fence and Deck was a pleasure to work with. Friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. Shea and Drew ripped out a 30 year old ivy hedge and replaced with a beautiful redwood fence. There are many details to this small project and Shea was very responsive and accommodating. My only critique are the concrete hand prints from setting the posts.
Darren has been called on emergencies and planned work and repairs. All have turned out as expected and better than expected. We are now working on a plan to add a dormer and long porch to our home.
A year ago, Mark worked on my house replacing my siding, painting and then refurbished my deck. I would hire him again without second thought! Mark is very customer oriented, it's important to him. He is trust worthy, honest and has great attention to detail. Those qualities are hard to find nowadays...Kudos Mark!
Shawn McCool has done three or four projects for us, from installing window shutters to rebuilding a deck at our Tahoe cabin to electrical work at our home. His work has always been first class, his pricing fair and his responsiveness above the norm for contractors. I recommend him highly.
We had an unfortunate accident when a car went through our garage door, leaving our valuables inside vulnerable. We ran into a very tricky situation, since we store a boat in our garage and the new and standard "roll-up" type garage doors could not be installed. We needed to rebuild the old door so I contacted several companies, and felt most confident in Solid General to rebuild the door after a recommendation I read online. I have never had a smoother more worry free experience when dealing with contractors before. Nick B. and his team arrived early and ready to work. They had a clear plan they explained to me clearly and I felt confident they could get the job done. They began work right away, showed me any changes of plans as they came along and explained them thoroughly and completely...no surprises! The construction went smooth and without any major problems. All of the workers were beyond professional and polite. Even our neighbors (whom we are good friends with) commented on their friendliness and grabbed business cards from Nick and Solid Construction. They were so pleasant and worked so hard throughout the day without breaking that my fiance and myself even went and bought the whole crew dinner. Well worth it for the good work. The door was put back together before nightfall, and they continued detail work into the dusk, refusing to finish until the job was perfect. I was happy because I didn't want to come home from work a 2nd day! MUCH appreciated. Our garage door is now twice as sturdy as it was before, in a way it was a blessing that the old door was destroyed, we got an upgrade and feel safer about our valuables in the garage. I was so impressed with the work, that I had Nick take a look at our deck in the backyard that is starting to show signs of rot. He quickly showed me how he would go about fixing it and provided me a quote once he had all his info before the other job was even finished. We hired them to fix our deck as well and can't wait to have them back. We will surely be buying them dinner again and look forward to them helping with our home remodel (bathroom, kitchen) in the future. A+++++++ You WON'T be disappointed
Previous owners took some shortcuts and put black tile over dry rotted plywood. With the recent rains, there was severe water damage and tiles were popping up and creating a significant pedestrian hazard. I was days away from someone falling through my porch. Louie's team is great, were in time, provided quality work at an affordable price. They are doing my back fence next and some indoor projects as well.
We have had several projects in the last eighteen months: Rebuilt front porch because of dry-rot; replaced double front entry doors and painted them; installed two custom built handrails; installed new back door, weatherproofed all windows; refurbished a bathroom - new sink and vanity top, new shower doors, new toilet, new light fixture, new floor and final painting. All projects completed in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. An easy going guy, friendly and honest and always ready to give constructive suggestions.
Corey has done five jobs for us in the past few years including tiling two bathrooms and a laundry room, laying a wood laminate floor, building a trex deck, laying a woodgrain tile floor, and supporting (framing, sheetrock, painting, and installation of LED lighting) a major interior remodel of a stairway. We have been very satisfied with all. He has a wide range of construction skills, does meticulous work, and charges a reasonable rate. We recommend him highly.
Mike did an excellent job with multiple deck and porch repair projects!
First of all I'd like to say Josh is very concerned about his customers' satisfaction. If you are not satisfied, then neither is he. The work wasn't just a bathroom remodel but also a deck - removing old one and replacing it with a new redwood one, house painting, new gutters, and a few other jobs that we didn't get completed because life happened and we ran out of money. When taking off the old gutters there was some rot on the roof and he was able to make those repairs, adding years to our roof. The deck is 1000% times better than the old deck he replaced. We even reduced the size of the deck to save a little money and replaced the remainder of the deck footprint with a cement slab with potential expansion of the house in the future or a spot for a hot tub in the near term. The painting and new gutters were finished just in time for the rain and makes the house look brand new, the shiniest on the block. The real stars of the work, however, are the bathrooms. They were in serious need of work. With his touch, they turned out better than we could have envisioned. We picked out everything and they installed it all, tile in shower, tile on floor, vanities, mirrors, wall cabinets, paint to match the tile, brand new lighting and a new clear shower door to show off the beautiful work. We can't wait to save money so we can have him come back out to do the kitchen.
