My experience with Linda was very positive. Linda is a very patient, knowledgeable, and mild mannered teacher. She is clear and concise with direction and explains things so that my sons understood what they were doing right, what they needed to improvement on, and what the expectations were. Linda was punctual and ready at my sons lesson start times and had each of their sessions well planned out. She is dedicated to them learning piano and seeing them progress. I would not hesitate to refer her service to anyone who wants their child to learn music.

My daughter needed a violin teacher and we found Grace on thumbtack. It was not only easy to set up the lessons but she's so professional and knowledgeable that I couldn't be more satisfied with her as a teacher. Her patience and well structured lessons have not only educated my daughter but have encouraged my daughter's desire to play the violin.

Manoela has been teaching me violin for over 2 years. She gave me confidence and encouragement from day one. I never thought learning an instrument could be this rewarding! She took the time to find out what I was really interested in learning so that lessons were fun and challenging at the same time from the very beginning. Manoela has a tremendous amount of patience and an ability to teach a number of different ways until I grasp the concept. I could not recommend Manoela more highly for any type of student!

Grace was just what we were looking for when planning our company party. We hired her violin and guitar duo, and their music was perfect for our setting. They played beautifully, and Grace was very professional when working out the details beforehand. We highly recommend her for any party or event you need a violinist for.

Anna is a very passionate and talented teacher and musician. After attending a recent recital, I was very impressed with how well her students play and with how she interacts and teaches them. My daughter is too young for lessons currently, but I am looking forward to the day when Anna can become her teacher.

My name is Tuan Hoang . In 2003 I was looking for a violin teacher and I was 21 year old that time. I found miss Cynthia studio located in Irvine and decided to meet her in person and ready for my violin lessons which I am dreaming studying violin since I was little ( I moved to the United States in 2001 ) my English at that time was very poor in speaking and listening I did afraid how we gonna communicate and study my violin lessons. Fortunately,ms Cynthia was and still be my mentor my inspiration and always showing her great ability and talent to work with adult student like me. I am saying here about her experiences not only working with students from toddler up to teenage. She is very knowledgeable to work with adult students like me as an example. I was studying violin with ms Cynthia for 4 years and finished book 4 Suzuki method. That was my incredible achievement that I never thought I would get from anywhere other than ms Cynthia studio and her teaching. I am currently working and playing violin on the side for my local churches and some special events during the year. I was helping ms Cynthia teaching violin for young students at occtac in Santa Ana for couple seasons. If you are very interested how to play a violin doesn't matter what age you are ( it's never late to start to working on anything you love ) please don't hesitate to contact ms Cynthia about her passionate teaching and assisting you 😘 thank you ms Cynthia for being such a wonderful violin teacher. If you have any questions about how I witnessed my experience with ms Cynthia studio and her teaching. Please feel free to email me at tuanhoang0330@gmail.com . I would love to give her 5 stars on this review.

I have been with Bella Music Studios for five years now, and cannot begin to describe what a wonderful experience I've had with everyone there. I've been with various studios and teachers and theater troupes before, and none of them have felt more like a legitimate family than Bella Music Studios. The owner, Jo Ann Maddalena, is the kindest person you could ever hope to meet. She wrote me a beautiful reference letter when I applied (and got into) a performing arts school in Hollywood. I've had two different vocal teachers there (April Orchard and Jean Carlos Lopez) and both of them were patient and talented and made me a better performer than I ever was before. I've had such a wonderful experience at Bella that Jo Ann recently decided I was ready to try teaching voice there myself! I'm still new to it, but I've had one client there, and it's been so rewarding. I practically lived at Bella Music Studios for three summers, and it's like a second home by now. I was in three shows with their theater troupe, and they were all professional level performances that I had so much fun doing. Bella Music Studios is a fantastic place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, well-priced music lessons of any kind for any age. Whether you're looking for voice, piano, guitar, trumpet, etc. you're getting the best of the best here.

Michael is terrific! We were looking for a teacher to work with our 8 year old son while we were visiting LA for the month. Michael is amazing at inspiring and engaging our son. Our son was so excited after his lesson we happily booked Michael for 3 lessons a week for the rest of our stay. Highly recommend!

Awesome place for kids to learn and master the art of music... My daughter took guitar, piano and voice lessons... Unfortunately we had to move and she can no longer attend... I wish they would open a location near Riverside so my daughter could continue with her art education... If you're looking for professional and affordable music classes for your kids then Piano Place Music and Arts Center is the right place for them. I am happy that my daughter had the opportunity to be a student at this family owned music school and I hope she can come back in the near future..... Beautiful family and very nice/professional teachers!

About

While I love performing, my true passion lies in teaching violin I have been trained in violin pedagogy through a program offered at Biola University. I specifically love working with children. In my past experience with teaching children, I have had the privilege of seeing their simple joy and eagerness. I believe that children can best thrive and learn if their learning styles are catered to and if they are loved. One of my goals as a teacher is to discover how I can best help the student learn. Is the student a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner? Does the student better understand the technical concepts if I use helpful analogies? My greatest goal as a teacher is to love my students. Originally, Suzuki initiated his violin teaching program not for the purposes of raising musical prodigies (which incidentally ended up happening), but for the purposes of nurturing children into noble souls who eagerly engaged in the pursuit of goodness, beauty, and truth. I believe that since goodness, beauty, and truth are inherent in music; it has the potential to transform someone's life. However, without the catalyst of love, music can be rendered to a mere means of selfish gain. I believe that it is through the unconditional love that parents and teachers offer their kids/students, regardless of their skill, that the students begin to explore the beauty of music. As far as my teaching methods are concerned, I prefer using the Suzuki method to teach beginners. The Suzuki method is a highly esteemed violin pedagogy method that allows students to play pieces by ear (as opposed to reading music). I believe that the Suzuki method allows the beginner students to concentrate on technical concepts and ear training skills without the added complication of learning how to read notes. About half way through book 2 (out of the 10 suzuki books), I like to introduce the student to note reading with supplemental sight-reading, rhythm, and etude books. While there are 10 suzuki books, I will only teach up to book 5. After that point, I like to choose pieces that will best suite the student's technical needs. I also like to supplement the Suzuki books with additional positioning and scale books. About me: I have been studying the violin since the age of 5. I have studied at the Colburn school of music in Los Angeles with Dr. Chan Ho Yun and I currently study with Elizabeth Larson at Biola University (Violin Performance Major). My achievements include: soloing with the Loma Linda Academy Chamber Orchestra, leading the Biola String Quartet, performing in a masterclass taught by the world renowned Menahem Pressler (Beaux Arts Trio), and performing with the Biola Symphony Orchestra as assistant concertmaster.

About

I don't fool around with teaching. If the student isn't serious enough, I won't hesitate to drop them. Money isn't my main objective in my work. I love to provide excellent quality of service and I expect students to as well. As far as my other services, I've had much experience in the fields of IT work and wedding planning.

About

The Suzuki method is a method of teaching music that was conceived and executed by a Japanese violinist and pedagogue, Shin'ichi Suzuki (1898-1998), dating from the mid-20th century. The central belief of Suzuki, based on his language acquisition theories, is that all people are capable of learning from their environment. The essential components of his method spring from the desire to create the "right environment" for learning music. He also believed that this positive environment would help foster character in students.
