About

We highly recommend Kit Pogarsky's Doggy Doggy dog boarding and day care. We have an energetic dog who likes to be near his people, and a dog kennel just wasn't right for him. When we first contacted Kit, he responded promptly and answered all our questions, and suggested we drop by to introduce our dog a few days before we went away. It was a great suggestion, as Griffie was then familiar with Doggy Doggy and Kit when we dropped him off to go out of town. Griffin has now stayed at Doggy Doggy several times, and we are totally comfortable leaving him for stays of a few days or a week or more. We know that for a reasonable price, our dog is getting the attention and exercise he craves and needs, and also gets to chill out in a great space and yard in Alameda. Very happy to recommend Doggy Doggy, -Mavis and Nick Marble

About

We were lucky to meet Phoebe right around the same time we brought home Champ, our yellow lab, when he was eight weeks old. Phoebe has been great dog sitting Champ ever since he was a pup during times when we're at work all day to times when we are away for several days. She has helped socialize Champ with her own two dogs and now takes Champ on group adventure hikes twice a week. It's very easy to see that Phoebe loves dogs which always makes us feel comfortable when she's caring for Champ. We see Champ also enjoys his time with Phoebe. Overall, Phoebe has really helped us ensure Champ is cared for and receives a lot of exercise by filling-in those gaps when we're not around. She's definitely a trustful, dependable and flexible person to call when we need help caring for Champ.

About

If you want someone that will treat you pet as one of their own I'm for you. The first step is to meet with you and your pet/pets and get a full history of their health, feeding, medications, likes and dislikes. I will start interacting with them and give medications if needed. This will help with bonding and earning the trust that will lessen their stress while you are away. I will spend an hour and half or more with you pet depending on what you pet requires. I usually walk a dog ( I have cared for everything from small terriers to mastiffs) up to an hour - some breed such as bulldogs cannot handle long walks. The rest of the time I spend at their home - play, brushing, or giving them a special treat - one pet, Yogi likes apples and peanut butter and playing tug of war after his hour walk. With cats after their feeding I like to play with them to burn off any energy or just sit and pet them. I know all the spots they like. Many times they just curl up next to me and nap. My time is spent paying attention to them, whether it's one, two or more. I have four now but with doing animal rescue at one time I had twelve.

About

This is seriously the best pet sitting/dog walking service around! I've tried several others and nothing compares to Bay Area Pet Pals. I have 2 cats who definitely need a visit every day when I'm on vacation for food and litter cleaning. I feel so much less anxious about leaving them now that I have BAPP. Up until recently I also used them for daily dogs walks. Our elderly dog passed a few weeks ago. ;-( They come to your house and take notes about where food, water, treats, toys, etc are. They also have VERY detailed online forms to fill out. You get to meet your sitter/walker....you will have the same person every visit unless you are notified otherwise. WHICH I LOVE. I have used several of the BAPP sitters and walkers and I can honestly say they have all been wonderful. Lynda seems to do a great job screening all of her employees. I feel so much better about taking trips now and I don't feel guilty about leaving my pets! One of the best parts of their service is that every day you get an updated email or text message! They also send pictures and a description of what happened and/or cute videos. No more worrying if the petsitter made it there, if your animals are starving or if they've gone to the bathroom everywhere! Even though I never specified this they also vacuum the litter area and take out all the trash every time so I come home to a nice clean house. They even left the porch light on for me knowing I wasn't getting into town until evening on the day I came home. I highly recommend BAPP FOR SURE!

About

We are now almost 2 years old! Pictured above is Zoe, an adorable mini-Alaskan husky who was our first client when I began DSP back in March, 2010. Eventually, I hope to get an entire gallery of photos and videos up on here, so people get more of an idea about what DSP is all about. Located in the Mission district of San Francisco is Doggy Stroll Patrol Inc. Reliable, responsible individual who will excercise, play with, and most importantly clean up after your pooch for a modest fee. For $11.50 hourly (or $23.00 for 2), you can relax as your pooch is pampered under my loving care. A bit about myself: I'm originally from the East Coast, I just moved here about 6 and a half years ago from New York. I have an extensive background in dog training, shelter and fostering organization volunteer experience going back for over 15 years. I'm very committed to, and love the experience of working with other's canines as if they were my own. In fact, I also have a dog of my own as well. Her name is Tilly (her lovely face is our company logo), and she loves people and other dogs to hang with especially. She was a Rocket Dog rescue pooch, and she's awesome. If you are in need and you just can't find that extra time to stroll your pooch (or pooches!) down the street, or to the park, give us a jingle. I'd be happy to set up an in-person meeting with you and your pooch to discuss your needs. Right now, I'm available during the day, 7 days a week. We only accept small dogs for boarding, due to space limitations. Unfortunately, we can only accommodate one small dog at a time. Our 2 and 3-day weekend packages for boarding is $40/per day, $80 and $120 respectively. If you are on Google Calendar, or are willing to join, you can check our availability online as well. We also hope to have a website up in the near future. Other boarding options can also be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Please do drop an email with your contact information and let me know your needs. I look forward to meeting you and your pooches! Although based in the mission, I do travel city-wide. So, if you're in the city, have a dog, or dogs, and need some help, I'll definitely travel for you. Please drop me an email. I look forward to working with you.

About

Wolfgang was very prompt and courteous, and our house was tidier when we came home than when we left. He even swept our front porch! But, more importantly, our pets LOVE him. :) Our cat, Buster, is VERY skittish. Even my husband and I have trouble getting close to him on occasion. Not so with Wolfgang! He walked in the house for our first meeting, Buster poked his head around the corner, then walked RIGHT up to Wolfgang for a pet. Boy, were we surprised! We've used other, local pet sitting services before, but, they always left us worried ... and more than a little broke. The Woof Gang offers great service at reasonable prices, and Wolfgang is TRULY a 'pet person'. We will definitely use Wolfgang's services in the future and would recommend their service to anyone looking for affordable, trustworthy dog and cat care.

About

We provide pet sitting and day care services for pugs! We are a couple with four pugs of our own, Bubbles, Petunia, Piglet and Harvey. We are not a kennel by any stretch of the imagination. Having been involved with pug rescue for many years, we fell into pug sitting by fostering pugs. So now, we watch pugs, young or old, while their owners are away for a day or two or in some cases, weeks and months. Our typical pug owner is crazy about his/her pug(s) and only leave them when there is no other choice. Our rates are very reasonable, $20/day and $35/day for two pugs from the same family. You provide the food, and your pug(s) needs to be up on vaccinations. We will administer medications if need be; however, we do not watch seriously ill or handicapped pugs. We feel they are best watched by a veterinarian facility. Your pug(s) will be given lots of love and attention just like our pugs and will join our family while you are away. Your pug(s) will be safe, clean and comfortable at all times and given the best of care. We regularly check their eyes, ears, and puggy folds to be sure your pug is in top-notch shape. We try to give your pug a bath and massage before he/she is picked up, so your puggy is ready to jump in bed. We have had pugs for many years and have been pug sitting for several years now. We always enjoy having a new pug come for a visit. At PugClubMed, it's all about pugs having a great time playing, eating and sleeping together. Both our house and yard are totally set up for safe and fun pug visiting. The yard is double gated for safety, and the pugs cannot be seen by people walking by. Raised pillow-top beds are provided inside and out, and the yard has lots of shade and clean play area. All visiting pugs sleep indoors and come inside if they want to be with us or if the weather is too hot or too cold. We welcome last-minute drop offs. However, you may reserve dates ahead of time. If interested, drop us an e-mail, or give us a call to arrange for a meet and get acquainted appointment ahead of your drop-off date. We look forward to meeting you and your pugs!

About

Hello! My name is Nhi, and due to my love of animals, I began pet sitting part time. As a pet owner, I know what it is like to care for pets. I am a very loving and responsible pet sitter. Ever since I was young, I have had many types of pets or cared for many, which include reptiles; rodents; birds; fishes; small, furry pets; cats; and dogs! I am a college student attending Chabot College due to financial issues. Though, I have plans for the future for my career. Currently, I have two dogs, a 5-year-old chihuahua named Bella, and a 3-year-old yorkshire terrier/pomeranian mix named Porkie. My service includes daily visits/pet sitting, cage-free and overnight sitting in your home, and dog walking. My pet sitting includes potty dog walks, replenishing water and food, play time, cleaning up litter, administrating medication, brushing, bathing, updates on your beloved pet with pictures upon your request, and house chores, like bringing in mail, sweeping, washing dishes, etc. I guarantee a great, caring service to your beloved pet and home. For dog walking: Walks are 45-60 minutes long and are done around the neighborhood, trails, dog parks, or beaches (depending on your location or request). They also include healthy dog treats and fresh water! I want to offer you professional, low-cost dog walking and dog sitting services. Please feel free to quote a price for me, and I will work on it. I pet sit and dog walk because I love to do it to help people who need me. Want to schedule to meet me? I offer no charges. Please feel free to contact me for more information. I am very prompt in replying and checking my e-mail. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pup! Thank you!
