Stephan was a joy. The tuning went smoothly and I had my first piano lesson immediately following it. His breadth of knowledge is very impressive and his sensitivity to the gaps in mine made me feel very comfortable and helped with my own particular learning curve. I would highly recommend Stephan as a tuner and a teacher...

Professional with an easy going teaching style. Allowed me to ask questions, freedom to find my personal interests and abilities with the notes and chords. I enjoyed the instruction and plan to continue the piano courses with Mountian Dog Musicworks.

Thank you so much to my good friend recommended Ms Trevor to my daughter! She plays very good piano since She changed to Ms Trevor 's class.she only learned over a year. Which makes us feel so proud of her. Ms Trevor is a very nice, good patient and intelligent piano teacher.she has a lot of piano knowledge to teach all her students . As we can tell... all her students play so well on each year recital. I am highly recommend Ms Trevor if you decide your kids to learn piano. You weren't waste your money but you will get a big surprise ! At first my daughter learned piano at Camarillo Rock City ,which is much more closer to my house. My daughter didn't learn anything from there. Finding a good & intelligent piano teacher is so so important.I don't mind that it takes me 30 minutes to drive to Ms Trevor 's house each week .to seeing my daughter to getting big improvements piano lessons. All my hard work is worth it.....

My kids began piano lessons with Carolyn about 6 months ago at ages 5 (girl) and 7 (boy). The kids have very different personalities, learning styles, and ways that they approach music. Carolyn has been able to modify the lessons to teach each child individually. She is passionate about music and is able to inspire others to have that same passion. My kids love taking piano lessons and I love hearing them play!

Vic offers a relaxed, non-threatening learning environment. He specializes in adult learning. When I started the piano, I couldn't read a note of music, and Vic started off by explaining proper posture and hand positons, the layout of the keyboard, the purposes of the treble and bass clefs, etc., and also advised me in the appropriate keyboard and equipment for my goals. He is very patient and encouraging and I feel I'm making very good progress in my first six weeks. Vic also alludes to music theory - he has explained that as the lessons progress, we will be discussing theory more in-depth. I'm very pleased with my lessons and even enjoy my practicing (though I'm not sure my neighbors do!!)

Spending every Thursday evening taking music lessons with Leah was one of the best parts of my childhood. I began taking piano lessons when I was 6 years old and continued to take them until I graduated high school. Growing up, I learned so much from Leah about music theory, playing techniques, and life in general. Leah is one of the friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to take music lessons. She's supportive, creative, and constantly smiling. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!

Andrew is one of the best musicians I know. I've been taking piano lessons w/ him for just over a year & he's made the experience truly fun & has definitely helped improved my piano playing. I've also hired him to perform and he is a true professional performer, putting thought & intention into every step of the process. I would highly recommend Andrew for both piano lessons & performances.

Keyvan Safinya has been giving me private piano lessons for a few weeks. In the short time that he has been teaching me I have improved marginally, much faster than I have learned with any other teacher. He is polite, professional, and very easy to get along with. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in Piano.

I have known Ms. Macleod for almost a year. My son has been taking piano lessons with Lynne beginning last September. The progress he has made during his seven months with Lynne as a teacher far exceeded any expectations I had and demonstrated to me what a wonderful teacher she is. Ms. Macleod is a very friendly and patient instructor. My son enjoys his piano lessons and is extremely relaxed and comfortable with her. She encourages and coaxes the very best effort from him. The community is extremely fortunate to have a music teacher like her. In my opinion, her prices are extremely reasonable and she is worth every penny she charges and I certainly believe I have received excellent service. It is my great pleasure to recommend Lynne Macleod to you as a music teacher for your children.

I was unsure about learning to play the violin, but I gave it a try! I've been getting violin instructions from Bette for almost two months now. Her vast knowledge is incredible. My experience so far has been outstanding. I can now read notes, and play a few really fun songs. I continue to get better with each lesson. Bette is flexible with her availability and charges an affordable rate for her services. If you are considering taking violin lessons, call Bette.

About

I am as independent of a musician as you will ever fine. I am completely self motivated, and my style is unique. If you're exclusively looking for a teacher to guide you through the standard classical approaches I'm probably not your guy, but if you're looking through a teacher who is knowledgeable and mindful of theory and technique while recognizing the value of exploration and playfulness in music I might be your right guy. My goal is to draw my students closer to their own creative passions.
