Working with Kevin has been one of the most gratifying experiences I've ever had. Having always wanted to play drums, I contacted him and was ecstatic to learn we were the same age and enjoyed the same genre of music. I had purchased a very basic set and this guy took me to a level I've only ever dreamed about. Not only does he possess incredible talent, but he exudes the patience of Job. He is clear and concise with instruction, abundantly thorough, and will lead you from infancy to execution with the utmost patience. His teaching skills rival his drumming chops. Indeed, this cat could make the most mundane subject come alive with a presentation that can easily rival that of any musical institution. I don't spend money on anything that holds little or no value. Kevin's lessons are worth every penny. I have a 16 year old son who sings in a band and is wanting to improve. I found out Kevin gives voice lessons as well. If he teaches that anywhere as good as drumming, I'm confident my boy will be belting out the songs in no time. If you're thinking at all about learning to, or even just improving on what you already know about drumming and/or singing, then you owe it to yourself to give Kevin a call. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price is set at 15.00 per 1/2 hour of teaching. At times I very much go over that time limit if I'm really into it with my student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being current in music trends and experiencing all types of new material including my own.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began playing drums for many years. Took lessons and sang with my guitar all over the USA. Doing that made me really good because you are constantly learning new material and getting better everyday.
