Mike was our DJ for a wedding last Saturday at La Playa Carmel. He is an amazing person, very professional, extremely organized, and every part of his set up for the wedding ceremony, the songs, and the reception were spectacular. He is easy to work with and always got back to me immediately. Mike also made sure that we stayed organized and that the songs that were chosen were exactly what we wanted and fit our style. Everyone has a wonderful time at the wedding and reception, and the music was exceptional and there was not one problem at all. Michael came very early to set up and did everything that he promised he would do. He is excellent at transitioning smoothly between songs for the ceremony, as well as the reception. I highly recommend Michael Ward for any wedding or party venue. Thank you, Mike, for being so kind and professional and taking care of every detail for our wedding. It was absolutely fabulous! I have oppunity to hire Danny for my wedding decoration three months ago and I am happy with his job. He is tallen and creative person and he advice me what colors what vase, what kind flowers and all kind of different things to make them match each other. Especially the price it so affordable I been look around two other people but finally I chose him and I am very happy. So I recommend him if any one needs for wedding, baby shower or birthday so hire him you will be happy like me.

My husband and I knew that if we wanted a wedding, would have to pay for everything ourselves. We had planned two other weddings but those fell through due to catering coming our to $10,000+. We also have big families so we knew this would be a challenge when it came to catering. Kristine and I crossed paths on thumbtack and it was the best decision I made! I felt like she wasn’t just trying to grab my business, but actually listened to my needs and desires. I appreciated her input as well as her willingness to work with me. From that point on, Kristine’s responsiveness was amazing! I felt bad because family would ask the most annoying questions, but Kristine was still sure to respond quickly and with patience. Thank you Kristine! Up to the day, it was open communication and I appreciated that! On the day of the wedding her team showed up on time with all of the necessary materials. The food was AMAZING! For a wedding of about 150, everyone gushed over the food. It was sooooo good! The staff was also amazing! I had everyone texting me after asking for peoples names and if they were friends of mine. I wish! They deserve so much! I appreciated all of you! Thank you for making my day, perfect!
Thus far we have only completed the tasting, but Chef Judi & Chef Cyprus nailed it. They are wonderful listeners and have a great palate. My fiancee and I are complete foodies, therefore the food at our wedding is truly what the reception is about. We are confident that Taste-Full Events will provide our guests with the culinary experience we want them to have.
A Starr Event created the flower arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres for my daughters’ spring wedding. Anita responded quickly to my inquiry, worked with us to select the various elements we wanted, and provided a reasonable quote that fit our budget. Anita spent a lot of time reviewing our selections, discussing flower choices that fit our color scheme, and she proved very knowledgeable about what would be available (and affordable) for my daughter’s special day! We especially appreciated Anita’s commitment to using locally sourced flowers, her assistance delivering and setting up the arrangements, and special touches she included in the ceremony space on the day of the wedding. The flowers arrangements were beautiful, the bouquets were just what my daughter had in mind and we received many complements from the guests! Working with Anita from A Starr Event, was an extremely pleasant experience.
I thank my lucky stars that Jennifer Martin from DGN Events and Design was able to be my coordinator for my wedding! Jennifer is a true professional--she's over-the-top organized and a dedicated project manager with a "can-do" attitude who can tackle any wedding day challenge thrown at her. She went above and beyond with my big day and assisted me with my wedding schedule, seating, flower displays, vendor wrangling...the list goes on! Besides being my organizational guru, Jennifer suggested creative touches for the day and even had props that I could use at my wedding. My cake table just sparkled! The day of the wedding she handled all of my vendors (some time-challenged!) with ease and made sure everything was in its right place and even encouraged guests to use the fun guestbooks I had set up. I really did enjoy the day knowing that all the little details were being handled...by someone with a smile! I would hire Jennifer again in a heartbeat and will recommend her to all my friends (and anyone else who asks) in the Bay Area. I have been honored to work along side Molly now for 4 years. She is open hearted and always goes above and beyond. Molly has a way to turn food into art while introducing your pallet to flavors of the world. She has a passion for what she does and can adapt to any situation whether its one of our food and wine pairings or a wedding for 300+. Another fine point of Organicopia and Molly is that we are family oriented and look forward to having more join our little yet powerful family. Since working with Molly my personal culinary skills have improved and she has opened me to more flavors which is something I encourage everyone to explore. Nina did all my wedding decore & I could not have been more happy with the work. I still have many of her pieces from my wedding up in my house. She was fast, listened & is extremely talented. I recommend her for any event or any artistic project you want.
If you need a florist, look no further! La Vie en Rose is so amazing. Shari, was the person we worked with and she was so genuinely interested in making sure our wedding felt like a very special day. I talked to other florists, and felt like I was being pushed through a conveyor belt of other customers. With Shari, we met at a wholesale floral shop, picked out vases and flowers together, and did a pseudo bouquet assembly on the spot. It was great, especially since my now-husband needs to physically see things put together. Shari is super quick to reply, thinks about things I wouldn't have thought of, so kind and caring, always chirpy and again just genuinely interested in our experience. She drove from San Jose to Monterey to deliver our flowers, day of the wedding, and insisted on delivering directly to me so she could personally show the various bouquet arrangements she made. Her price is also lower than other vendors, and she's upfront about that, but don't let that make you think the quality is any less. It will be MORE than you can expect from anyone else. I hired Jacqueline for my upcoming wedding at V. Sattui Winery in Napa, CA. Before I hired a wedding coordinator, I was way in over my head, and completely stressed with everything. Jacqueline made wedding planning so much fun and stress free! Her vendor preferred list is amazing, and she brought me the best of the best for my wedding day. She also has a natural ability to coordinate and decorate venues, which I love, because I don't always pay close attention to detail. We had a great experience at Allegro for our wedding reception. Jeano was extremely attentive in the planning process and was there for us to answer any questions that arose. He put on an amazing dinner with steak, salmon, and chicken that was all cooked to perfection! He worked with our time table, which got a little thrown off by traffic and those unforeseeable events that happen in weddings. He was professional and his staff was warm and friendly. The dinner and drinks were organized flawlessly, as there weren't lines for the food tables or the bar, and everyone had what they needed in a timely manner. Allegro's venue worked very well for our number of guests, everyone got to sit where they wanted and could mingle without issues. The restaurant was PERFECT for an after party as well! Their outside patio fit our guests and the DJ very well and we had people dancing and celebrating for hours! We still have people telling us 2 months out that our wedding was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. We know this was one Allegro's first wedding parties in the restaurant, but it was flawless, and your performance was that of a seasoned wedding planner! You went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations! Thank you Jeano and all the Allegro crew! You guys are the BEST and we wish you great success in all you future wedding parties! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A WEDDING RECEPTION!
Brenda was really great to work with! She was the coordinator for my friends wedding last summer! Great eye for decoration and really fun to work with!
