I was born into this industry. My family had a commercial construction buisness back east so straight out of high school I went to work at the bottom. 25 years later when my old man retired I ran the show because I got things done. I have 30 yes of experience in this world 20 of them as a Union carpenter in NYC. There is very little I cannot do and because of that diversity I stick to hourly rates $170 first 2hrs minimum $65/hour plus materials after

I needed Gavin to redo some flooring that a previous handyman did..and the handyman did not do a good job to say the least. Gavin came in, looked at what had been done. It needed to be redone and the flooring removed. Let me tell you, Gavin is a wizard! He took up the other flooring, and put down the new flooring, and I could not believe how professional it looks! He did not stop until it was exactly the way I wanted it done. This is the guy you want to do whatever work you need done..he will do it perfectly! I will use him for all my projects from now on..and some of my neighbors who came and looked at the job he did were amazed as well...a couple of them want to have him come and do some work too. He is nothing short of amazing! I can't thank him enough..

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge hourly, a fixed rate does not work in my favor. I have a minimum of 2 hours plus a fee for incidentals period.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was born into it. From erector sets and Legos to all aspects of the family business of commercial and industrial carpentry and installation to residential applications now.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Growing up Northern New Jersey 30miles outside of NYC working there and 10 other states, I came to CA and have worked here and another 10 states I've met a couple of types along the way.
