Steven is the ultimate professional! Arrived promptly (you can even track his travel to home/business). Very professional, courteous and efficient with all the necessary tools (and then some) to install my flat screen TV. Move the furniture and glassware to hook up the cable box. Move everything back and cleaned up thoroughly after the project was completed. I was so impressed with him and his knowledge, that we discussed my future home projects (bathroom remodel, cabinets installation, closet organizers and ceiling fan/light installation). He took the time to explain the scope of work, potential challenges and cost estimates of each project. And for the record, the prices he quoted was VERY reasonably priced. He and the White Residential Services will definitely be my future "GO-TO" Pro when I need home improvements. He definitely earned my business and I know he will do the same for you. I give him my highest recommendations!! Thank You, Steven and ThumbTack for an easy transaction!
Installed Ikea Kitchen Cabinets! Fortune came my way when I found Robert's Assembly. Precision and artistry at it's finest. Robert didn't just drop off workers and leave, HE came and lead his team. HARD WORKING, yet they had such an infectious camaraderie with each other having these gentlemen, and I do mean GENTLEMEN in my home was a pleasure. I typically cringe when I require workpeople in my home but not with these guys! The job was completed very professionally and the results are outstanding. Hire Robert's Assembly and Installation if you want a flawless job from start to finish!
We hire Greg and his team for our kitchen cabinet refinish project. Their quota is competitive and quality of work for cabinet is very good. They have taken most of cabinet doors to their factory and have them done with several standard process; They complete rest of frame works in our house with same standard. We are very satisfied with their work, they are a great team for the painting job!
Gus remodeled our master bathroom with a tile shower and floor, it looks amazing. He was professional and courteous and completed the job fast.
This was a straightforward kitchen and bathroom caulking job. Michael Trejo was responsive, knowledgeable and on time. The job did not take as long as anticipated and thus came in under the original estimate! I highly recommend Mr . Trejo and this company.
People usually write when they are upset about something that occurred or they are not happy with the work someone did. But sometimes the work is so excellent that you feel the need to share the experience. Jim Presti, of Mobile Authority, recently completed work in all three of our bathrooms and our master bedroom. And on top of that he painted our living room and entry way. He literally made all of the cabinets and shelves in the bedroom, replaced the tub, showers and flooring in the bathrooms, and built a custom cabinet in our garage. This is why we have been utilizing his services for the last 15 years and will continue to do so in the future. His prices are competitive, the work is superb, and he has never charged us anymore on a holiday than any other day of the week. I am honestly proud to recommend him and his services.
Kevin Ghazarian worked with me on a variety of prominent projects at my home. In all aspects from budgeting, design, planning and organization of the construction schedule, he was a tremendous asset. On each home improvement he displayed exceptional qualities of creative-problem solving, fortitude as a leader and task-master and attention to detail in design and craftsmanship. I am very pleased on how well the projects turned out, which is due largely to his professional contributions. Highlights of projects are described as follows: 1. Interior painting of several rooms and kitchen. The design motif was a traditional Tuscani color scheme. The original and uniquely beautiful architectural elements such as the curved kitchen cabinets, wordolf walls, crown mouldings, bay windows and fire place mantel pieces were individually painted separate colors. This was challenging in its multi color design and tedious attention to painting the details. In two rooms alone there were 15 different colors used, all of which had to be the perfect color and hue. 2. Installation of wood floors. A beautiful distressed antique wood flooring was installed in the kitchen, pantry, bathroom and large family room. This involved subfloor demolition, removal and replacement, and the detailed installation of wood flooring and moulding. The hard, back breaking work required a number of workers managed by Kevin. As a result, the work flow was systematically optimized and driven until the projects completion. Kevin was a relentless task master and has many skills as a talented worker. 3. Electrical rewiring of bathroom and hallway. The old wiring was faulty and insufficient and new wiring was pulled and replaced. All ceiling light fixtures, electrical outlets and switches were chosen and installed. A 3 way switch system was a necessity and was devised quickly and installed correctly to code by Kevin. This all required the knowledge and skill of a trained electrician. 4. Construction of exterior deck. This project involved much post production planning and design. Trek decking materials, sub deck foundations, metal piers, treated lumber of all sizes, and all the special screws and bolts needed to be estimated and purchased for this large construction project. Unlike a simple rectangular shape, this deck was complex in design with multiple angles, levels and steps. Cutting perfect angles and lengths of Trek decking were a necessity in order for this deck to turn out as provocative and beautiful as it did.
We are so happy we found Humberto to do our bathroom remodel. He does excellent work- very detailed oriented, super friendly, and an extremely hard worker. Humberto was very conscientious of what we wanted and checked in with us each day to make sure what he was doing was to our liking. He did all of our tile, plumbing, and electrical and it turned out great! He exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend him!! We plan on using him for further home projects soon. Contacted George with a list of projects I had in mind, but needed a price to see how much I could get done and what the costs would be. George came over to give me a quote and a breakdown of costs of each project and payment schedule, which I appreciated. We went ahead with the work. One of the bigger projects we had George and his team do was to knock down our existing patio and concrete and put up a new one. Old patio was 15' x 20' we did a new 15' x 40' patio. Very happy with the quality of work and the patio itself. Other projects include removing bulkhead and putting up new drywall, installing can lights, new roof, and putting up new doors. I was most impressed by two things - 1) the open communication between us, and 2) the professionalism and politeness from George and his workers. Even little hiccups were properly communicated and worked out. I will definitely be working with them again.
I needed numerous larger and smaller repairs done on a beautiful rental condo (the new tenants were already in). I was in a bind, knowing these days it's hard to get what you pay for, let alone someone who is trustworthy and respectable. Fortunately, I found Paul. From our first phone call to the end of the job, Paul was outstanding. He accommodated my schedule and showed up on time. All doors now work perfectly and look great (painted and all). The bathroom installations are excellent, and the drywall repair is excellent too. What's more, he offered and provided creative improvements/solutions, both functionally and aesthetically- a big bonus! This guy knows his stuff. Very mindful in his prep and clean-up too, and he got the job done in almost half the time I thought it would take. I am very satisfied.
Jordan as a person was very nice. His inital follow up was prompt and he spoke very highly of his attention to detail. As a first time homeowner, I know little about construction and heavily rely on the expert knowledge of others to assist with our remodel. We hired Jordan after meeting three other contractors based solely on our interaction with him. When we originally had Jordan out to our house it was for a flooring quote only. Jordan explained he also preformed landscaping work on the side so we added that to our list. Jordan did an amazing job installing the floors! The entire dynamic of the house changed because of the floors. I was very disappointed in a few other areas which is the reason for 4 stars. We do not currently live in the house although we do have a few items in place for weekend visits. Towards the end of the job Jordan said that they were mostly finished so I had gone to check out the progress. The tile work in both bathrooms is crooked. The master bath is very noticeable. In addition, my bedding was covered in dust and they had smeared grout into the carpet in my bedroom. There was also sloppy grouting and caulking done in several areas of my home. To add insult to injury his crew decided it was ok to help themselves to my kids popcicles - this actually upset me just asuch as the tile floor. Giving credit where it is due: Jordan and Tim did have my carpets cleaned, my bedding dry cleaned and I was given the option to have them rip up the bathroom floor or receive a discount from my final bill. Jordan did offer to replace the missing popcicles as well although that never did happen. The landscape looks nice as well but we asked to keep the remaining turf and that also didn't happen. I asked jordan about it and he said what was salvageable was in our shed - it wasnt. Again, I was very happy with the floors but the other items make it hard to say if I would rehire for additional projects. Nice guy but I didn't feel like our home was cared for in the way he said it would be. If you do decide to hire Jordan my recommendations would be: 1. Get a detailed breakdown of the work 2. Notate about the use of your personal items (they completely filled up both our garbage cans) 3. Inspect. Inspect. Inspect. Check every corner.
Perhaps handyman for the jobs I needed: cleaning out the water heater, adding handles to cabinets, changing out a tall LED bulb, and repairing exterior gates. Thank you so much for your help!
I contacted Ross for a rental home to check a leaky roof inside a bathroom facing the street and to check out electrical outlets that were not working. Ross is very professional, he showed up at the exact time he said he would, responded immediately to texts, answered my phone calls and my tenants said he was a nice guy. He was able to to fix the electrical outlets and found where the leak was in my roof the first day. Then came back, removed the rotting drywall and patched up the roof. I will definitely keep Ross's phone number for any work I need done.
We had a dog destroy all the trimming around two doorways and she ate the towel cabinet . I went with John because he had great reviews and I liked that he was a one man show . ( not a team ) He did amazing work ! The finished job actually looked better than before it was destroyed by the dog . He was timely , professional and I am really glad I found him for future work . Thank you John !
I was fortunate to have hired aDroit for my IKEA Furniture Assembly project. He was hired to put together a new piece from IKEA, a rather difficult display cabinet. ADroit was proficient, efficient and a perfectionist.. Just the way I like it!! He followed the assembly instructions perfectly. The result was a perfectly put together piece. Nothing was amis. All the parts fit together perfectly and my display cabinet is just perfect! Adroit was easy to deal with, well spoken, intelligent and very helpful. Not to mention tolerant and patient. He moved the piece twice to accommodate me when I was not sure where I wanted it to be.
Henrik at Art Cabinet Design was very responsive and knowledgeable. He returned my text within minutes, even though it was a Sunday! I had a small job and he helped me out with suggestions and considerations that I had not thought of. I would definitely call him for any future work.
Ronald is upfront, fair, honest, and hardworking -- He is everything you want out of a contractor. Shortly after purchasing my house Ronald completely remodeled my two bathrooms and now (nearly 2 years later) i'm having him do my kitchen! He is great! Ronald even helped my father-in-law out with a kitchen/ bathroom repipe and saved him thousands compared to what other plumbers were quoting!
I can't say enough great things for Mazi and his team at Mana Design Build. From beginning to end, we found everyone we came in contact with to be honest, professional, patient and competent. We received several quotes for a master bathroom and powder room remodel and hardwood floor installation for our home. After looking at all of them, we decided on Mana Design because we thought the estimate was fair, they had outstanding reviews on Thumbtack and we really liked Mazi. He came and took a look at our master bathroom and immediately had great ideas that put them in computer software - something that really lacked from the other contractors. He is very expert in what he is doing and as a home owner, he will educate us before we finalize our decision on materials. In all honesty, his quote a was little more than the others, but we sensed the integrity in him that was echoed in many other reviews. We didn't mind paying a little more for the design and his extra time to know that we would be working with someone who would be proactive in fixing any problems that arose and believe wholeheartedly that you get what you pay for! He designed our powder room exactly what I was dreamed for. Like with any remodel and installation process, there are so many decision- both big and small- and I felt like Mazi was patient with us and had a true concern for our project. His foreman Mo was wonderful also. He kept us updated on what crew would be coming everyday and talked with us about little details while giving us his expert opinion. They has a nice portal to monitor your project scheduling, payments and even progressing pictures. I can say with all honesty that every crew that came to work on our house- cabinetry, plumbing, hardwood floors, drywall/paint, granite and tile were outstanding. They worked hard, cleaned up their mess everyday, were kind and patient with my 4 and 2 year old and were nice and courteous to us. That makes a big difference when your life if turned upside down with a construction project, no bathrooms and a dust everywhere. We are extremely happy with our master bathroom and exclusively our lovely powder room and new hardwood floors. It has changed the look of our house and have received many compliments. And, it is worth noting, the entire project was completed in 4 weeks (and it would have been shorter if we didn't take some days picking out plumbing fixtures, lighting, stone and backsplash and cabinetry). 4 weeks! And no corners were cut or work was rushed. We recommend Mana Design without reservation and will be using them again for our future kitchen project. I recommend you do also and even pay for their design fee if you do care what you get. Eric and Kim Morales
Only good things to say. Project: Crown and base board upstairs bedroom, landing and downstairs everything, 8 new can lights, new doors and ceiling scrape and refinish. Travis showed up always on time, the original quote was detailed and very reasonably priced. I was happy to see he managed the team on the project well with daily tasks. The best part of working with Travis was the finishing. His work was quality and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
I hired JSJ Construction to paint the interior of my home, replace the baseboards and install new doors, closet doors and crown molding. In addition they built a linen closet into an existing closet, wired my living room for two new chandeliers and replaced the facia on my fireplace. The owner, Joe, was easy to work with, he always answered the phone when I called or returned my call promptly, and he gave me a very fair bid for the work. I recommend him to my friends and to you. I am pleased with their work and their business protocol. They began the job on schedule and completed it within the timeline promised. They were considerate of the people in the home as they worked. Their quality of work was very good, especially the fireplace facia which involved 5 different tiles and a good deal of grout work (excellent job).
