I have come across many instructors who are insistent on a certain path and don't exhibit any flexibility or willingness to take feedback. I am not one of those instructors!

Kevin is really passionate and enthusiastic in his teachings. I had no knowledge to how to play the guitar, but I feel like I'm learning so much every time I have a lesson. You would learn how to tune your guitar and would be willing to teach you anything you would like to learn. If you would like to learn to play a song, he would teach it to you. He really tailors his teaching towards your interest. He is very patient with his teachings and really guides you through the fundamentals of learning how to play the guitar. Very friendly and professional and is able to answer any questions you have. He is very encouraging and when you mess up, he will encourage you to not give up and keep trying. He gives positive feedback when showing improvement, and when you lack in a certain area, he would tell you techniques to how you can improve. Overall he is a very outstanding teacher and would go above and beyond if you are eager to learn about playing the guitar. Highly recommended.

ktran is excellent teacher. he is adapt at connecting and figuring out what needs to be improved or worked on. he was able to take my random bits of music knowledge and instantly get started. just in our first session kevin cleaned up a lot of questions i had..like he brought a bunch of missing puzzle pieces over. practicing after lessons is much more fun and productive ! highly recommended
