FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m very flexible when it comes to pricing. My price is based on location and day of your ceremony. Those getting married during the week or on a Sunday get great deals. I just want everyone to know that although it doesn’t take very long to officiate the ceremony a lot of hours go into writing every single one. I will only send the ceremony outline until I’m 100% happy with it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I actually trained with my officiant. She taught me the legal aspects that come with officiating and some ceremony outlines. Over the years I have created my own style. Most importantly I have learned that knowing how to improvise is key to being an officiant.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was engaged I had a hard time finding a bilingual officiant who would marry us at my house. I finally found one that was everything I had been looking for. After I thought that there was more couples that were searching for what I was, so I decided to start officiating. I always put myself in my couples place because I’ve been there. No matter how simple my couples want their ceremony I always put my heart into every single one.
