Lourd Viernaliza Castro (L.V) was my day of coordinator for my husband and I wedding day in Berkeley, CA. L.V did an amazing job she was my life saver. All bride-to-be knows how hard is it to plan a wedding and you dedicate all your time and effort and sanity to making your special day an amazing day that will never be forgotten without breaking the bank of course! :) After many hours spent on searching and reviewing reviews and asking around who to hire as a day of coordinator I finally was able to reach out to L.V and I am so so soooo glad that I did. From the very first time that I spoken to L.V she already had me convince. She was so sweet, kind, professional and she was able to work with my Budget. She was very thorough and into details which I love. I felt like she wasn't just there to help me on the big day but even all through out planning. We kept in contact couple of months before the wedding making sure everything was ready and perfect for the big day. We also had her at the rehearsal which went smoothly! I mean as usual people were late etc. but in-spite of any stress that came she never made me feel stressed she was handling it and she did an amazing job doing so. She did such an amazing job with the set-up and decorating and making sure everything is in place. She also designed our Dessert Bar which turned out even better than what I expected just wow!! :) and she would fly from San Diego to the bay area just to make it for the rehearsal I was very impressed, with her dedication and her goal to keep her client happy. Now, the big day as bride-to-be should know. There will be hiccups, not everything will be the way you expected but regardless it'll still be an AMAZING day that you will truly remember for the rest of your life. I could really go on I have alot of nice things to say. But In summary, Hubby and I are very thankful that we had you to help us on our wedding day. I hired Christina as my day-of wedding coordinator. She was absolutely AMAZING. She and I went over logistics once and she handled everything that day - including set up and decor, communicating with the DJ, keeping everything on track. The best part was that she would do things that I didn't ask for - like grabbing me a gluten free plate of food and having the caterer pass apps right when we arrived to the reception on our party bus. I would highly recommend hiring Christina as a day-of coordinator. She was a pleasure to work with.

From the start, Megan was very attentive and responsive to our needs and vision for our dream wedding. My husband and I had a 350-guest wedding, which is a task in itself, but it was also an Indian wedding, which are filled with very detailed traditions and separate events within the wedding itself. I had started planning for the wedding a year in advance, and quickly realized I needed help. Our wedding was in San Diego and both my husband and I lived in two different states. I knew that PartySpark was a startup company and that they had no Indian wedding experience, but after speaking with Megan, I knew she understood what I was looking for. We decided to hire PartySpark about 6 months before the wedding and now I can't even imagine what we would have done without Megan and her team. She was able to put us at ease about the whole planning process. She coordinated FaceTime meetings, meetings with my husband when he was in town, vendor walk-throughs, and kept constant communication through email. Honestly, a bride's biggest concern is communication and organization with the planner. I always felt in sync with Megan and she always kept me in the loop of what was going on. From that 6 months onward, I did not once question the organization of my wedding. Even my bridal party had great things to say about PartySpark's communication and organization, as Megan kept them in the loop through emails. The day of the wedding was a dream. Everything went smoothly and Megan made sure everything ran on time. My uncles and aunts (Indian relatives can be extremely critical) were saying that this was the first wedding they've been to where the bride and groom looked so relaxed and all the events were on time. We were relaxed because we knew everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. I HIGHLY recommend PartySpark to anyone planning their event. There are not enough stars in the world to give Emily the credit she deserves. We hired Emily for day-of wedding coordination, mostly because of my full time job commitments and (let's be honest) my total lack of creativity and 'DIY' talent. If you don't want to read my novel, just know that the BEST decision for your event will be to hire Emily. Now, if you want to know the details of how amazing she is... read on :) A little background to create the vision for you: I'm active duty military & got married on Naval Station North Island. My (now) husband is a full time graduate student and spends the majority of his time at school, studying, or walking our dog :P My immediate family lives on the East Coast (which is important because my Mom and Emily worked every detail of this wedding to perfection). I hired Emily after meeting her once at a coffee shop. My mom had flown in for the week to visit and help with some wedding planning. Emily was the 2nd wedding coordinator I met with (I found both of them on Thumbtack) and after meeting with the first one, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to be able to afford what we were looking for. I told Emily that I mainly wanted someone to help hang lights (we got married on a deck on the beach & wanted a little extra lighting) and someone to help setup/decorate the venue day-of so my mom & other family would be able to help me get ready for the big day. To my complete SURPRISE, she said she would do ALL of that & more, and the best part was that I could use any of the materials/decorations she already had for FREE so the only thing we would have to pay 'extra' for would be any decorations we went out & bought on our own. Emily had lights, lanterns, signs, frames, and MUCH more available for us to use so we barely had to purchase anything extra which really helped with our wedding expenses. Emily knew how busy I was with work, and she was so sweet about trying not to bother me unless she really needed something or had a question. Some of the things Emily helped us with are: -Created a full day-of timeline & diagram and worked closely with the venue on guest/seating arrangements and placements of buffets, gift tables, bar, etc -Contacted ALL of my vendors & handled all of their questions so they wouldn't have to 'bother' me the several weeks leading up to the wedding -Created signs to place at the gift table, driving into the venue, bar, etc -Dealt with the craziness of Naval Base Security & contacted all of the vendors multiple times to make sure they filled out the necessary forms to be allowed on base -Picked up my cake & donuts for our donut cake the day of the wedding!! Such a huge help. -Worked closely with my Mom and helped her research decorations, cake stands, and much more. My mom is writing a separate review so I'll let her go in to detail about that :) -Ran my entire rehearsal at the venue the day before the wedding. I don't know what we would have done if she wasn't there because none of us really knew what was going on. -The day of the wedding, she made sure to tell us where we needed to be & when. She would say, "okay guys, we're going to do the shoe game now so go to the dance floor..." or "we're going to cut the cake now!" She even brought plates of food to our table so we could eat after we were done talking to some of the guests! -My DJ was a total wreck & the week before I freaked out about possibly needing to hire someone else. She instantly called several of her DJ friends and made me feel calmer about the whole situation. The day of the wedding, my DJ still didn't really know what was going on...so Emily spelled out pretty much every song for him and when he needed to play it. If Emily wasn't there I really am not sure WHAT song I would have walked down the aisle to... There are not enough amazing things I can say about Emily. She brought her sister with her the day of the wedding and she was so sweet and helpful!! I can honestly say EVERYONE needs an Emily Froelich in their lives. We talked to each other like we were friends (I kinda think we are :P ) and she really took my whole view for the wedding and just ran with it. She is truly amazing. Thank you Emily!! We love you!!
A.I Entertainment dj'd my wedding and helped to make it the best day of my life! They aren't just a company they make u feel like family. Arnie was very compassionate and did evwrything for me...i just picked the songs and he put the recption together and it was perfect...i had a few changes and he changed them with no problem...it was my day and whatever i wanted he made happen....it was a special day and he made it all possible...He is very vey good at what he does and just meshed well with everyone!!!! I didnt jusy get a ggod dj rhat day i also gained a good friend! I will only ever do business with this company and he comes HIGHLY recomended...He always got right back to me and as a bride with ao much to do was awesome!!!Love love love A.I Entertainment

I've had the pleasure of attending a couple of events curated by Lady Eloise Event Planning and Design (LEEPD) and each time I have been impressed by the attention to detail, professionalism and seamlessness of the event from start to finish. Most recently, LEEPD helped bring my sister's dream wedding to fruition. A wedding for 300 guests is no small feat but every little detail, from decor to food to entertainment to accommodations and so on, was accounted for and executed flawlessly. I was so impressed with Porsia and her team I asked her for a stack of business cards and have been referring her and passing them out to friends and family in need of high quality event planning. If it helps, I don't typically write reviews unless I'm extremely impressed or highly disappointed. And by now, I'm sure you can tell I've been extremely impressed!! Seriously, go with LEEPD. You won't be disappointed!
Talissa was so amazing in helping me plan my wedding last October. From the flowers, to the set up of my ceremony, into the reception and everything little Inbetween was beautiful. My wedding would not of looked anywhere close to what it did without her perfect touch. I was so beyond thankful for her in making my special day all I wanted! The pictures I have forever will remind me how great it is to have an amazing wedding planner by my side.
Diamant does amazing work. She can make any wedding come to life with her amazing arrangements. She is very talented and I have had the pleasure of working with her on several weddings with my brides. Diamant can do anything from Hawaiian floral to extravagant garland and floral displays. Her rates are very fair and she is very detailed and maticulous with her floral creations. Diamant is very easy to work with and has some of the best arrangements I have seen in the wedding industry. She is definitely one of my go to florists as a wedding coordinator. Brides absolutely love her work. Thank you for all that you do.
I can't speak highly enough of Valentina! She was our wedding day coordinator and I could not have asked for more. Everything went so perfect and so smooth. From the moment I met her, I knew she is someone who strives to perfection. I am myself very detailed oriented and I recognized alike-souls :). She went above and beyond to make sure everything would go smooth, she is very detailed oriented, very fast, and on top of everything. She is also very easy to get along with, flexible, kind, great personality. Being new in town, and not having a huge support system here, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed about the whole wedding planning, and having her onboard was magical, she was an angel! Can't speak enough of her, thank you Valentina!!

I met Christina well looking for my wedding dress in the shop she works at. Although the dress did not end up being a match, Christina was! She was excellent at helping to coordinate our wedding. From our first meeting I knew this was someone I could pass off the reigns too. Her and her team did such an amazing job setting up in such a short time and making sure everything was just right. She knew how to be present and keep people on scheduled without being in the way or in your face. At first I was not sure I was going to get a coordinator for our wedding, but accidentally crossing paths while shopping for a dress was serendipitous and could not have worked out better. I wish I could give her 6 stars! I feel she and her team really had a big hand in helping to make our big day come together and be as special as it was for my husband and I.
We had them cater our Wedding last weekend and they were a godsend. I could go on and on about how wonderful, caring, attentive and friendly they were. While planning they were a great source of advice and guidance. Chef Renee gracefully answered my parents' (numerous) questions basically being our caterer/wedding planner. Most importantly the food was delicious!! The passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour were outstanding and everyone complimented the incredible dinner! To top it all off our cake was delicious and beautiful, Did I say delicious!! They also provided friendly and attentive bartenders and waitstaff. Everything was so good, our guests were so happy and full... we are still receiving compliments. The entire team was professional and so attentive and they really set up our tables beautifully! Chef Renee and her team went above and beyond our expectations and really made our day perfect! If you hire them you won't be disappointed!! We can't wait until the occasion comes to use them again!
Tia is an amazing planner! I wasn't sure how she would handle an indian first birthday but she totally hit it out of the park. She captured our vision for a bollywood bday party and enhanced it even more. She is detail oriented, creative, and conscientious of budgetary needs. I highly recommend her services as she's a true joy to work with and incredibly savvy at finding great vendors! I wish I had known about her during my wedding. Although my daughter's bday was sort of a mini wedding with a large number of guests, dj, photographer, cake etc...Can't wait to hire her for our next event! She is the BEST!!!
Christina and Natalie make the perfect team when it comes to on-the-spot wedding and event planning. My (now) husband and I decided relatively last minute in July 2014 that we wanted to have our ceremony and vows exchanged in September 2014. We had thought of simple, if any, decorations and a beach BBQ afterwards for apx. 20 of our friends. These lovely ladies stepped up and made our last minute wedding unforgettable. The amount of effort Christina put into going with my husband to pick out decorations and coordinating the timing of events, as well as going above and beyond to ensure my friends and family were comfortable on the ship, made our day so much less nerve-wracking and put us at extreme ease. My "mother" was feeling seasick and Christina snapped to attention to ensure she rested and had mint gum to ease the dizziness. She spent hours on ensuring decorations were set up right, all of the wedding party was accounted for and in the loop of the timing of events. She really took our idea of a ceremony and put it to life :) While my husband and I didn't even consider getting a photographer for this wedding considering a bigger event would happen later, we soon agreed that was a big mistake. Natalie captured some of the most unforgettable moments of our ceremony and I couldn't be more grateful. She has so much talent and really has an eye for a perfect picture. Having seen some of her other photography work, she is a truly incredible photographer!
Stepheni was AMAZING! Her talent, effort and responsiveness to our dream was valuable and the end product speaks for itself. She helped make my daughter’s fairytale wedding come to life. I have 3 more daughters. God willing I see them married and I need not look any further for My decorator!
Diane was absolutely a life saver on our big day!!! I had Diane coordinate my wedding last July and boy am I glad I chose her! When our caterrer showed up over two hours late, and short many of the rentals he promised us, she and her team, at the last minute pulled everything together and my 250 guests never had any idea. In the midst of this, she was able to ensure every detail was covered. I was a very DIY bride and had a huge guest list. She somehow worked her magic to have all the signs, programs, favors, beverage station, etc all set up even better than I had imagined it. She communicated with my other vendors as well, and I got feedback from them that she really helped to simplify the event. I was able to relax, and was completely unaware of the behind the scenes nightmare she was so professionally handling! It was the best investment I could have made and I don't think I could have possibly been happier! From start to finish, Diane was there for us every step of the way! The wedding went off without a hitch, whitch was no small feat!
Extremely organized, super professional, and the most genuine coordinator you will ever meet!" -- these are the words I would use to describe my experience working with Karen Aficial. Prior to our wedding, Karen had already been interning with another wedding event company in San Diego. Having a couple events already under her belt and from our initial meet, we were confident in our decision to choose Karen as our month-of-coordinator. We had a really tight budget to say the least (our flowers were from a Palm Springs grocer, we DIY'ed nearly all of the decor, and cut corners where it made sense). Leading up to our wedding, I didn't even stop to think about hiring a coordinator until I was overwhelmed doing last minute things the month of and I knew then, I needed extra help. I met with Karen a little more then a month before our wedding. We met over video chat online (not in person because I live in SF and she lives in San Diego). It was so easy to communicate with her and she totally made me feel more at ease with her confidence to take on our wedding coordination so last minute. She asked the right questions, took note of all of my (very detailed) direction and vision, took initiative (without me having to make e-intros through email) to contact all of our vendors, read all of our vendor contracts thoroughly making sure we didn't miss any important details, and put together a timeline that saved us throughout our wedding weekend! The only mistake I made, was not hiring her sooner! Being a bride who also manages events as my 9-5, it totally put me at ease to meet someone who understood all the little details of what it takes to manage a successful event. We can't thank her (and her husband Alex our MC) for running a smooth wedding for us from start to finish. The best advice I could give for those lucky enough to come across her services, don't hesitate...schedule a meet....and start your wedding planning with Karen ASAP! - Charlene Torio
We used Jamie for day of coordination and she was great!! family showed up with boxes of decorations and she set them up as we had discussed. as the bride, I felt like everything went so smoothly and only later did family tell me there were multiple little snags that Jamie took care of. great service!
We had them decorate our hall for a baby shower and Let me just sat how AMAZING everything looked! Everyone kept telling us it looked like a wedding. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and added such a special touch for the venue! Absolutely recommend them to everyone I know loooking for a floral arrangement for any event! 5/5!
