Fastflow sewer & drains
High Quality Plumbing And Rooter** was the service I selected to perform a complete re-pipe for my home. I believe Elias, the owner of this plumbing service, overpromised and underdelivered. I believe the project was too much for him. He worked diligently when he was here, however, I am not sure if he had done anything like this before, although he said he had. I was just disappointed with the experience.
My project was completed over a week ago, and I have yet to receive before and after pictures of the pipes before the repipe, nor an updated picture of the new piping that was installed. I have asked several times, and was promised several times that he would send me a copy of them. I have not received them yet.
Ellis was late every day to my home, one day three hours late. He had to work as late as 7 PM and 7:30 PM, and it took 4 separate days to complete the project; he told me he would only need two days.
Before the project even started, Ellis and his crew were coming in and out of the house to work, which is reasonable. However, I have hardwood floors, something needed to be placed on the floors because of the down because of the continued foot traffic in and out of my home. I saw that he had a large roll of paper that he used to put down where he was working. I asked him if I could use that paper, and I laid it down on my floors so as to mitigate damage to my hardwood floors. I taped the paper myself onto the floors.
Prior to the end of the project, I was supposed to get new plumbing hardware for one of the bathrooms , and I had scheduled with Elias to return at a certain time and date (Wednesday). On that date he did not return. I called twice and left a message once, and I never received a return phone call. Three days later on Saturday, Elias called and told me he had the parts. During this same time of waiting for him to return with the new faucets, the shower and the tub faucets both ran at the same time when you used them. For example, if you turned on the bathtub faucet, the shower faucet would run, and vice versa. Since I had not heard from Elías and thought he had abandoned the job, I called another plumber to come out and look at the bathroom shower and bathtub faucets that were running simultaneously. I had to pay for them to fix that.
As stated above, Elias finally returned my call three days later (Saturday), and told me that he did not respond to any of my calls or texts because he was very busy. When he returned to install the new faucets on that Saturday, after he had left, I noticed that two of the faucet handles are loose when you turn them. This is not when you turn them on. They were just installed that way. I’ve texted him to let him know that, and asked if he could return and fix it. I have not heard from him since then. At this point, I don’t want him to return.
Several things would have mitigated my dissatisfaction: Elias needed to be more communicative with me. At times he was nonresponsive, and as a business owner, that is never a positive trait. Second, he needed to be on time, or call when he’s going to be late. Third, he needs to ensure that the customer is completely happy with their final product. I paid several thousand dollars for this work to be done, and I am not as pleased as I thought I would be. This was a big project, and maybe it’s my mistake for using a small business to complete it.
