Zsolt fixed all my various plumbing issues. He will make sure all the jobs get done. He replaced 2 faucets, fixed 1 faucet, repaired a leak, replaced some corroded angle stops and hoses, fixed silicone sealant, fixed a stuck bathtub handle, tightened a bathroom handle...... Basically he fixed every single small issue that has been bothering us for years and we wish we called him sooner. He also only charged for the big tasks (at a much lower rate than a plumbing company), and included many small things for free. Zsolt is a very nice guy and very knowledgable, and we will definitely call him in the future for any plumbing or handyman issues.

WOW. Where do I even begin. I reached out to JR Rooter last year looking to remove and install a new bathroom countertop + sinks. We scheduled an installation date and they were ready to go…but unfortunately there were issues with our plumbing that my husband and I had no idea about (had to do with the valves and not being able to completely shut the water off) so we had to reschedule. We live in a condominium so it takes a while for things to get approved by the HOA. On top of that, I was very pregnant and due in just a few weeks so we tabled the project for a bit. FAST FORWARD to May 2022! – I reached out to JR Rooter again and luckily he remembered who we were and immediately was ready to schedule a new installation date. He has able to not only replace my counter tops but completely swap out and update my plumbing underneath the new bathroom sinks and make sure that everything worked properly. JR Rooter is very professional, honest, efficient, clean, KIND and knowledgable! – The team did such an incredible job in my bathroom and I can’t wait to upload some photos soon once the bathroom is 100% finished. Would 1000% recommend and hire again.

I would recommend MJ Plumbing for any plumbing job! I was given a good price, the work was quality, there were no issues, and they were professional! MJ Plumbing was one of the few plumbers who even gave me a quote, and his quote was the lowest! He was very responsive to messages on Thumbtack and very responsive to text messages. The MJ Plumbing team was also punctual and professional. The 2 gentlemen arrived early and they were ready to work. They had all the necessary tools and they were familiar with my issue. Once in my apartment, they asked me a few questions and immediately got to work. It only took them 20 minutes to fix my issues, I was very nervous that I had royally messed up, but the guys were able to fix everything. Once they were done in my bathroom they put everything back and cleaned up after themselves. Once the job was over, there was no issue with payment. When I booked the appointment, we discuss payment method. Once the job was completed, I paid him what was quoted and there were no issues. I am always nervous to hire workers because there are so many horror stories of things not working out, but this was the best possible situation. I would recommend MJ Plumbing to anyone who needs work done. I'm sure I will have future plumbing needs, so I will definitely be calling him up!

I highly recommend Richard’s Plumbing & Repair! After a foul smell started coming from the shower area of my primary bathroom, i had my usual handyman come inspect the plumbing in & around the bathroom as well as under the house in the crawl space. After a thorough investigation, we could not find a leak, so I hired two separate plumbing companies to look further. The first company told me they found a leak in the shower & recommended demolishing the entire bathroom to repair. The second company said there were several leaks under the home & recommended redoing the ENTIRE plumbing system under the home. Two different companies telling me they found vastly different & extremes expensive issues (each not knowing that I had a second opinion) made no sense to me.. especially after my handyman told me that there were no leaks. The following day I had Richard come out to take a look. He immediately told me that the smell was not a sewage smell & that any professional plumber would know that. Within 15 minutes, Richard found a hole leading into the walls from my crawl space where a possum had crawled into and died! This space was under the shower in my primary & that was where the smell was coming from! Richard’s knowledge, expertise, extreme honesty & professionalism literally saved me over $10,000 of unnecessary repairs. That same day him & his crew, Brandon & Sofia, made a small hole in the stucco of my home’s exterior to remove the animal, rid of the smell, patch & paint over the hole perfectly. I found Richard to be the most honest & professional person I’ve ever worked with for home repairs. I highly recommend him & will certainly be using him again in the future!

Not this company. He even told me about a CLR hack that I could try to save money. He even made a return trip to start the job because I needed to leave for an appointment. A bathroom tub had a slow leak, so I attempted to snake through the overflow. As soon as the snake touched the overflow pipe, the whole overflow/tub drain fell off into the crawl space under my home! I was disturbed by this, and I knew I needed immediate plumbing expertise - Thumbtack connected me to Mario the Drain Chief. It's was about 2 hours from when I made my initial Thumbtack inquiry to when Mario arrived, scoped the job and provided an estimate. Mario not only addressed the tub drain, but noted that the piping running from the tub to the main drain was held together with rubber gaskets - these gaskets were a contributing factor to the clog in the first place along with the pitch of the drain pipe. We agreed on a price and less than an hour later, he returned with all the necessary materials. About 4 hours total from initial inquiry to job complete. The drains are now all the appropriate rigid black pipe, with correct pitch & code compliant plastic hangars. Thanks to Mario, the root cause of the failure was addressed & the tub drains like a champ. Will hire again for the next plumbing adventure.

Vic N Sons expressed interest in helping me with my plumbing issues (flooding from under toilet when shower is in use) and had a positive review with a fairly high consultancy fee, leading me to believe that I was paying for quality. Foolish me. First red flag: They asked me if I could pay cash, opposed to through the app. I get it, app commissions are high, times are hard, I obliged. Second red flag: When they came to my house for the consultation, they half looked at my bathroom for 2 minutes and called that a consultation. That'll be $80. I paid. Third red flag: They messaged me outside of the app and told me it would be a $250 job and that I was being "cut a deal." Do you see where I'm going with this? They came to my house and spent 30 minutes in my problem bathroom "walking me through the process." "We're doing this, to make sure this works," etc. I had my concerns but I gave them the benefit of doubt because I'm not a plumber. They finished up and I payed them $270 (tip included) CASH which they accepted and promptly left. No more than 5 minutes after they left I hear noises from my problem bathroom to find that my toilet is NOT ONLY overflowing, but FLOODING INTO the rest of my house. Surpise surprise, guess who is no longer answering their phone? It's been two days since I've been able to reach them after REPEATED attempts between me and my roommate to contact them. We have a guest coming in a few days and now we have to find a new plumber. I found out so you all have don't have to. DO NOT HIRE THESE SCAM ARTISTS
