Latest Review: Thomas taught our 10yo son and 8yo daughter piano during the school year 14/15. Our kids were brand new to piano and Thomas did a great job connecting with them on their learning terms and taught them and amazing amount of music. He kept it fresh, was patient, and was very consistent about practice time, using the metronome, posture etc. While I wouldn't call him super strict he brought the right elements of discipline for our kids and they now love the piano and will continue this year.

Latest Review: For more than two years I have taken piano lessons from Esther Sanborn and I can say that I am quite pleased with my growth and progress. Let me preface this by saying that I am an older adult and have over the years developed bad habits in my technique. Ms Sanborn helped me correct these with her unending patience and insight. I love her insistence on good technique, ensuring that her students become better players. She is very respectful of my personal taste in the classical music that I choose to play, and has always been very encouraging whenever I express doubt about my abilities. Esther Sanborn is a true professional who knows music, and her love of the piano is palpable. It makes each lesson a joy.

Latest Review: Alex is an amazing teacher. I've only had lessons with him for about a month, yet I feel like I have already learned more than I have in a year. His helpful way of teaching using terms such as "Elvins" and "Riley's" helps me expand my jazz vocabulary as much as possible. Alex is amazing and I hope to have lessons with him for many years to come.

Latest Review: Cody is, hands down, the most generous accompanist I've ever worked with or seen in action. His arrangements are well-executed and very well thought-out. HIs enthusiasm knows no bounds and his encouragement, nurturing, and support are just as infinite. He has ideas but at the service of the art, not his ego, which is wonderful in someone so multi-talented and skilled. He also challenges and pushes everyone he works with to be their best, to improve sight-reading, and work hard in a comfortable emotional environment.

Latest Review: Raffia was my four year old grandson's (Taylor) piano teacher. From the very first day we entered her studio, she treated us with the utmost respect. I was so impressed on how well she worked with Taylor. She has a lot of patience and went out of her way to make sure we both understood his piano lesson. Taylor enjoyed going to see Ms Raffia to learn piano. He had a lot of fun. Without a doubt I would recommend Ms. Raffia to anyone who has a child considering taking Piano lessons. She is the greatest!!

Latest Review: We had our first piano lesson with "Mr. Tom" for both of my children, one in Kindergarten and the other in Preschool, and throughout their lessons I was smiling and giggling listening to how well he interacted with them and how responsive the children were. He grabbed their attention when he sat with them both and beautifully played a song. They were mesmerized and focused completely! Not everyone is great with kids but Mr. Mooney most certainly has a gift and my children were engaged throughout. The children are excited for their next lesson! We hope it is a long-term relationship. I highly recommend Thomas Mooney! He not only has the credentials and work history, but he has personality and is a true teacher at heart.
