Very nice ladies who did a great job doing a move -out deep cleaning of my apartment and they did it within the time frame allotted. Great experience! They were half an hour late but it was due to lack of parking around my building.
Nima showed up on time, had to make on-the-fly adjustments & engineer a solution to a limited crawl space issue in our attic, installed our provided fan no problem and w/out additional costs. Good guy, works hard and fast, w/out sacrificing quality.
I plan to use Serviz for future work on my rental properties. We had a new garage door installed on a single family home and the work was excellent. The estimate meeting was informational, on-site and they came prepare with their Cal State License and proof of Liability Insurance. We agreed on a contract and they were back in two days to perform the work. We checked out the installation and the results were exceptional. The handyman built a frame to enclose the garage door, installed a push button code device on the outside, the motor to operate the automatic opener on the inside and hung the garage door perfectly. I really like doing business with the Serviz people and they select the right team for each job. Thanks Max, Looking forward to our next job! Greg and Deb Senger
Let me save you some time. I spent a couple of weeks looking for an electrician and should have just gone with Danny right off the bat. The electricians that the stores like Lamps Plus and Victors Lighting recommend do not do any form of patching or clean up. That means if you want a fixture moved or they have to cut a hole someplace you than have to higher a painter or handy man to fix their mess. Danny does it all and, it looks good after as well. He moved my dining room light, patched-textured-painted the hole left behind. He also did the same for my doorbell I wanted moved. He than replaced fans and switches in multiple bedrooms. Some of which he had to crawl into the attic for. For the most part he picks up and cleans after himself. I did a quick vacuum after but, he did most of the pick up after. Would definitely recommend.
JR installed three can lights and added a power outlet under our Jacuzzi tub. He is professional, has excellent communication, prompt, charged (and kept) a fair price. JR respected the house and left his work space clean. Will use again.
We had Adam install a custom vanity sink in our bathroom. It wasn't an easy job, due to some of the dry wall work he needed to deal with. The job took a little longer than we'd originally thought, but Adam took it in his stride and came back the following day to wrap things up. He was outstanding! Couldn't have been any better.
Tom is great. Very happy I found him. I did work on our bathroom renovation, including: vanity install (very tricky IKEA cabinet that other handymen couldn't handle), plumbing, electrical, patching & paint, window install, and stucco repair. I immediately extended him to do some work on our front and back doors. All great. And now, I've hired him again to build a fence and gate for us in the front yard. I will be calling him again in the future, and I encourage anyone reading this to do the same!
Adrian arrived at the time promised. He placed the overhead storage unit exactly where I wanted it and at the correct height. He was very courteous and professional. I will definitely call him again for future work.
I had a previous bad experience with a plumber, and decided to find a more scrupulous person to fix the half-done job. I decided to try out thumbtack, and posted a brief description of the work. Joel was the first of 5 plumbers to reply within the hour. Joel showed up the morning of the job with another employee and reviewed my plumbing issue in detail before going into the crawl space with his associate to double check the situation. He came back out, described the problem, offered short and long term solutions, and we agreed on which route to take. He assigned the work to his employee, and the work was completed in a couple hours. Although he was not the cheapest of those plumbers who replied, I did feel that Joel provided a reasonable price for the work, had great communication, and his employee also had all the necessary parts for the job in his van (eliminating the need to run down to Home Depot or Lowes for parts). Joel's employee was hard-working and he also provided me with before and after photos of the work completed. I am inclined to seek him out again for future home improvement projects (bathroom remodel, roofing).
We wound up choosing Cheap Tile and stone. We found them to be professional and efficient. The job was beautifully done. Marc the owner and Michael his helper are extremely hard working and kept to my timeline. They actually accepted my job even though some of the other contractors I spoke with didn't want to bother for such a small space and profit. We will definitely be using Cheap tile and stone for our upcoming downstairs and kitchen remodel. I found them to do high quality work with an accomodating price tag.
Had a good experience with this company they were very much specials at what they do and I am very satisfied with the home inspection that they gave me and the results of the report I would recommend this company to anyone that's looking for a qualified professional inspector that knows his stuff instead of one of those Fly by Night construction workers that called himself inspector you want to hire a real professional inspect their us home inspectors is the way to go I recommend to anyone especially first home buyers. Thanks for your professionalism and knowledge. THE BEST . Steve .
I have a commercial space that I converted from an office to a restaurant. Mike and Robert and their crew worked diligent and hard to get everything correct. They were able to save me when my plans were inaccurate and most importantly they were honest. They worked fast, hit deadlines, passed inspections, and were on top of their job. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the job they did. Mike has a plethora of knowledge and it made the difference in the job.
I recently moved to Beverly Hills and bought a beautiful antique bed frame. The only problem with the bed frame was the open space underneath it. I have a beautiful little Bengal kitten that would have loved to have crawled under my bed and hid all day long. I considered purchasing a brand new bed frame that extended all the way to the floor to prevent my kitten from running under the bed, but thought perhaps an experienced carpenter could match the wood on the frame exactly and extend it all the way to the floor. I decided to place an ad on Thumbtack and Ricky responded to my request immediately. He did an incredible job. He responded to my request right away, offered an unbelievably inexpensive quote, and offered to come over as soon as possible to resolve the problem. He did such a wonderful job from start to finish - he not only matched the wood perfectly but made the installation seamless with the rest of my bed, which I thought would be nearly possible with an antique. I cannot emphasize what a fabulous job he did - I highly recommend him.
The job was to re-pipe the hot water heater to be placed outside of the house. Steve did a great job working in the small and difficult crawl hole space under the house. Steve is a fine handyman with good experience and a fine personality to work with. I worked right along side him throughout the job. He is very knowledgeable in many field of construction and the code. He started and finished the job perfectly, and charged me half of what other plumbers would have charged. He is very honest and hard working. He will become our family handyman, and will have my best recommendation for family and friends.
Mario and his crew have been working together for roughly eight years. We choose his company for a split level home located in Redondo Beach, CA. While we had 6 existing, exterior cameras, they needed to be upgraded; which ultimately required a complete re-wire from coaxial cable to Cat5 and DVR installation. The job was quoted within reason and they were subsequently hired. The process required home entry including access to crawl space. The entire job took about 5 hours. Throughout the day, we were in touch via text. His communication related to the job was forthcoming and billing commensurate with work entailed. We had ordered our cameras from another vendor, so this job did require some work related to App/Computer access of the cameras, but Mario provided a contact which could accommodate. As it stands, from this experience, I would state that his team is professional, knowledgeable and will provide value should you decide to hire. We have since referred him to friend of the family and she, too, hired them had only good things to say of their work-ethic.
I needed a 1300 foot attic, air sealed and insulted as well as installing an attic fan. He did a great job and has no problem dealing with all issues that come with jobs like this. He also built a custom shelving system for me on a previous occasion. I have him slated to install crawl space insulation as well as adding frame mounding to my 10 new Windows. Steve will make sure to get the job done the way you expect it to be done! Robert
