Myles' Drum Lessons

Introduction: All Ages, Music Styles, and Skill Levels Welcome! My name is Myles. I am a TAMA Drums and ZILDJIAN Cymbals endorsed artist with over 10 years of experience including worldwide tours opening for superstar acts such as FOO FIGHTERS, MUSE, and THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS with my band Taipei Houston. I attended Berklee College of Music for three years studying Drum Performance with legends such as Marko Djordjevic, Neal Smith, the late Ralph Peterson, and Omar Hakim. I am proficient in all styles of Drum set performance and can focus on any aspect of playing, technique, musical styles, improvisation, or sight reading that you may be interested in. We can create a curriculum built around your specific needs and aspirations on the kit, and make it as fun and light-hearted to as serious and technique driven as you want. I also am highly proficient in Jazz and Classical based music theory and am happy to dive into these topics at any skill level. I drive my business with a commitment to creating the best learning environment and performance curriculum to suite individual students. We all learn differently and approach performance uniquely and that is what makes music so special.
