Valer was the best person we’ve hired through Thumbtack for ANY job, hands down. He installed security cameras and a sound system in our new house. He was communicative, punctual, professional, and thorough - and he’s easy to have in your house, if that makes sense. Valer made sure everything was working perfectly both times he came over before leaving, and took the time to explain to me exactly how to use everything. It’s clear he’s a true expert. Valer was fantastic! He helped with our sound system at my pilates studio and was efficient and provided the insight and help we needed. He responded so quickly to my initial inquiry and was at my studio within a day to diagnose our issue. Turned out we needed new speakers entirely. His quote was sent over to me in less than 24 hours and we had our new speakers installed and up and running in less than a week from the time he came to check out our old equipment. His installation was so quick and he was tidy and accommodating. I will absolutely be calling him in the future for all audio needs... I highly highly recommend working with him!

Called Valer to help with a projector bulb but he ended up doing that and helping us with our whole house system. He spend 2 days completely tailoring our smart home to us and upgrading what needed to be upgraded. He’s the first one who didn’t try to upsell us and he was so thorough. If I could give Valer 10 stars, I would! So, some background, I own and run a tech company, but A/V isn't our expertise. So, I'm quite particular when it comes to my expectations, hiding cables, etc. This was not an easy project, I have 15 (15!) current and retro game systems and streaming devices, I wanted all of them connected, working on the same remote, and minimal to no exposed cables. Valer came out the same day that I contacted him, and it was obvious after a few minutes that he understood my goals. We discussed the various hardware and software options and I had a quote later that night. On the day they started, they showed up on time ready to work, they covered and protected my furniture and floors and spent the day 2 days doing everything they promised. I could not be happier with the result: the remote does exactly what I needed and he also set up control on my phone as well. There's literally no sign that they were ever here, other than the rat's nest of cables that used to exist and now hidden out of sight. Everything works as advertised, we spent a lot of time testing and making sure I understood the controls. They even were able to get the surround sound working in my bedroom which hadn't worked for years. All in all, a great experience. I highly recommend working with Smartek, high quality work at a very reasonable price.

I can honestly say that I am super happy I chose Smartek Solutions. We had to have our entire entertainment system moved from one side to the other living room side. That included DirecTV, speakers, TV mounted, and all cables included. Valer came out the next day to check on the project and gave us a clear understanding on how best to proceed. He gave us great advice and helped us purchase the correct equipment to make our new setup sound fantastic. (Actually, he purchased it for us which was very much appreciated). Needless to say, we hired him for the project and couldn't be happier. They were on time, respectful, definitely knew their stuff, professional, super friendly and even cleaned up afterwards and in between to make sure everything looks perfect. Valer and Rick also cleared out old cables inside and outside our unit and made it look a lot better than it did before. Also, how he extended the DirecTV cable (outside around our unit) looks so good. I can with the up most confidence refer them to anyone who is looking into any tech related projects. I will certainly keep their contact info on file and will hire them for any upcoming projects immediately. Simply FANTASTIC. Thank you!
