I was really quite blown away by the experience Jen created for my family. We were nervous putting the success of the evening in someone else's hands, but Jen's food, demeanor, and professionalism made sure it was a memorable event. Before the event, she was incredibly responsive and listened to all of our desires and concerns, from which she developed a wonderful menu to satisfy the needs of a diverse group of diners. She arrived incredibly prepared, resulting in a flawless and calm service. And, the cherry on top: she left our kitchen somehow cleaner than it was before she came (and our cleaner had come the day before)! We highly recommend Jen for any special event or you meal prep needs - we know we will employ her again, often.

We first hired Jen about six months ago to help with our weekly meals. We love her! I used to cook a lot more, but when I started working longer hours, it was harder to find the time, and I got a little lazy. That's when Jen stepped in, and she saved us from our unhealthy takeout/delivery habit. We now have colorful, delicious meals of hers three nights a week--I wish the food I cook would taste that good even when I have time to cook! My husband also has a couple dietary restrictions that she accommodates no problem, and he never feels deprived. We are so grateful to have found her! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. :)

Jen's love of food, and specifically ingredients, truly shine in her clean, nutritious, and delicious creations. She is quite personable and a conscientious chef who takes into account the specific needs of her client. I always feel reassured that I'm not putting just anything into my body with Jen's cooking. Jen is a true wizard with food; she's able to take healthy options and make them actually taste yummy! Though we are not a strictly vegetarian/vegan family, we love her veggie fare as a way to lessen our impact on the planet and eat more healthily. Jenn's dishes are creative without being fussy and she is the epitome of professional. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The meals Jen made for us were just delicious. She clearly knows her flavors well, so she's creative in developing meals, and it comes out fabulous every time. The meals are healthy, incorporate my preferences/desires, full of flavor, and overall enjoyable to consume. I cannot wait to work with Jen again!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    For meal prep services, I charge an hourly rate for my time plus the cost of groceries. Dinner parties and other events are on a case-by-case basis.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    For new meal prep clients, the process will start with a free 45 minute consultation at your home. This will give us a chance to chat about what you're looking for and also for me to get a look at your kitchen- setup, appliances, tools etc. For a one-time event like a dinner party, we will typically do a similar consultation, but over the phone.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I completed the Chef's Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute, which provides the traditional culinary education alongside a focus on health - that's why I specialize in special diets and am well-versed with vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options! I have also worked in restaurants, and prior to my culinary training, worked in cookbook PR!
