I am a person that enjoys fitness,specially running. A year ago I had injured my knee and had no been able to do my regular workouts. After several physical therapy treatments, I contacted Doretta Joy because I knew of her training abilities to help the client get fit and also her ability to help with injuries and muscle imbalances. After six months of training,not only has my knee become much stronger and more stable,but I have also gained more total body strength,endurance and flexibility. I am also beginning to run again. What I liked most about Doretta is that she listened to what I wanted and then came up with a sound fitness plan to get me there. I really like and enjoy Doretta's approach to fitness training. Doretta is a great trainer! She not only makes working out fun, she gets results. I started training with her a few years ago and I've been very pleased with our sessions. I have been able to improve core strength, balance and my overall fitness level. She works out of a very well maintained private gym that has all of the latest equipment and serves a wide range of clients (including some very well known celebs😊). Working out with a private trainer helps me keep my workouts fresh and fun. In addition, because she keeps up with the latest trends in fitness techniques and medical findings I'm also convinced of the value of continuing my regular work outs with a trainer. I have been so pleased that Doretta now trains my husband and my adult daughter. I would recommend her without reservation!

Working with Doretta has been an absolute pleasure. Her approach to fitness/training is firm and tough yet compassionate. She has the ability to encourage me to push myself beyond my own limits without realizing it. Doretta recently conditioned me to participate in a 7 day cycling event. This was the 2nd time taking part in the event, the major difference this time is I rode faster, harder, stronger with no physical ailments. If you have the right attitude towards fitness Doretta can help you reach your fitness goals.

I have a desk job and my posture reflected that prior to Doretta. Doretta's advice and workouts have worked to restore my posture and improve my flexibility, balance and strength. I have more energy to tackle the needs of work and a young family. I highly recommend Doretta and her personalized fitness program.

I love Doretta! I have been exercising for her once a week for four years now and I feel so much stronger and healthier than ever before. I had tried other personal trainers but either got injured and pushed too hard or had never developed a connection with them on a personal level. Doretta has a just right style where she makes you do strengthening exercises that help shape your body and increase your heart rate without injuring yourself. Plus I love talking to her, she's the most well rounded, smartest trainer I have ever met so we have fun in our sessions!
