Not only is Maggie an awesome seamstress, she is dependable, professional and easy to deal with. I am quite petite so many of my dresses need alteration and slacks hemmed. She does a beautiful job and takes care with every detail. I found a fabric I loved and she made me a dress as well. I am very satisfied with her services. And her fees are very reasonable. I highly recommend her.

I requested alterations on two pairs of levies (straight and bootcut) and the finishing touches came out spectacular! She converted one pair to straight and gave the other a slim/skinny adjustment. In addition, I received a great deal on a custom-made denim jacket, which she sewed together with her industrial (juki) machine! She's definitely invested and the quality and care is presentable through her work. Definite recommend!

Ah'nesha is a super helpful and talented seamstress! My sister and I really enjoy getting sewing lessons from her and have already learned so much. She is easygoing and made everything fun and comfortable. She is a great pick if you are in need of some sewing lessons or if you need anything sewn. Definitely a nice, talented and professional fit! 5 stars all the way with Ah'nesha.

Barbara has been teaching me for several months helping me complete a project with two dresses, a jacket, a blouse and a pillow case. I am very blessed to have found Barbara! She has been teaching me through every step of the project. Her experience, her knowledge on different techniques, her amazing personality and extreme patience with teaching, make her an exceptional teacher. Barbara, you have been an angel shining light into my project and I will be forever grateful to you.

I found Barbara after looking for quite a while for a sewing instructor. She came in and helped me finish some projects that had been languishing and we are now starting some new projects together. She is well spoken, knowledgable and is a patient instructor. She also thinks of innovative and creative solutions. I'm very much enjoying my sessions with her.

I've been working with Melissa for eight years, and I've seen my sewing skills progress from nothing, to upper intermediate, and I feel much more competent than I ever could have believed possible. I took sewing in junior high and hated it, but with Melissa's guidance, and more interesting projects, I'm excited and passionate about sewing. Now I'm making gifts for my entire family for all occasions! Even with advanced projects using vogue patterns, she is always patient and inspiring. Her knowledge of sewing machines is also impressive. I highly recommend her.

Melissa is very knowledgeable and worked at a pace that I could not only complete the project but absorb and learn the how and why behind each step.

Barely ever sewn anything before. But I needed to make a stuffed rhubarb in just under 2 weeks for a college project. I'd been watching the FashionMadeLive Periscope Channel and found that they also offered sewing lessons in my neighborhood! YAY! Kim at FashionMadeLive took me from knowing very very little about fabric to being able to MAKE my quirky project happen! Kim was a patient teacher and the studio was stocked with everything needed to sew and make my project.

Found FashionMadeLive through their Periscope Channel, and took their online video lessons. Just needed help with a difficult pattern from Vogue Patterns. Long Story short, by the end of the hour, I had worked out how to matchup the pieces and how to make the neck of this dress look like a pro had made it, not a gal with 2 left hands. I did the online video lesson from Texas, would gladly visit their studio if I lived in Los Angeles!

Rossanna is amazing at teaching sewing, she is expertly knowledgeable about the subject, and combines that with an understanding of how to teach so she makes it fun and engaging. My daughter has made some dolls, doll outfits and is working on pajamas next. If you or anyone you know is looking to learn about sewing Rossanna is awesome!

About

In my classes children and adults learn faster than other places. They start sewing in the first class. I make my classes very interesting with new projects every week. Also, I can only take a limited of students per class, so I have plenty of time for each student. Students don't have to pay a fortune for sewing classes, my classes are very economic.
