FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a quality-focused travel agency and do not specialize in bargain or budget travel. The pricing we share reflects the rates provided directly by our trusted travel partners—we do not mark them up. Our goal is to design exceptional, personalized travel experiences for our clients. A professional service fee applies to our planning services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before any planning begins, we require an initial conversation to ensure we fully understand your travel needs. We’ll respond to your inquiry on Thumbtack and follow up via any other method you provided. Our process includes: 1) Initial Consultation – We begin with a brief conversation to learn about your ideal trip and gather details that Thumbtack does not provide. We’ll also explain our service fees once we understand the scope of your trip. 2) Early Planning Support – If you’re still deciding on key details like destination, travel dates, or cruise/tour options, we’re happy to share general guidance to help you narrow things down. However, we do not begin detailed research or planning until a signed Service Agreement and payment of the Service Fee are in place. 3) Formal Agreement – Once your basic travel preferences are defined, we’ll send you our Service Agreement and a payment authorization form for the agreed Service Fee. 4) Proposal & Refinement – We present tailored options based on your preferences, then work with your feedback to refine the plans. 5) Bon Voyage! – With everything in place, you enjoy a seamless, memorable vacation experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has been formally trained through Uniglobe Travel and Virtuoso, and we are proud members of the Virtuoso consortium. We hold certifications with leading travel brands such as Globus, Avalon Waterways, Viking Cruises, and others. We also participate in ongoing education through our vendor partners and the Virtuoso network to stay current and informed in an ever-evolving industry.
