Alexis has been amazing to work with! We booked an introductory lesson and then a set of 5 lessons for our first wedding dance. My husband has never taken a dance class and he and I have never taken lessons together. We are both extreme beginners at partner dancing. Alexis is the perfect instructor for beginners - she's very patient! She is also full of energy and makes each lesson fun. She has been creating beautiful choreography for our first dance. As a former wedding photographer and videographer, she is great at making sure we get those "picture perfect" moments during the dance We have a few lessons left and I can't wait to finesse the rest of the dance and impress all our guests on the big day.

My husband and I really enjoyed learning our wedding dance routine with her. We are beginners and she taught really well, we caught on easily because of her and had a lot of fun, and decided to sign up for another dance lesson- she even threw in a quick dance routine for our honeymoon dance towards the end! Her location is awesome- -you can eat at the restaurant or look out at the pier before your lesson and enjoy the view in the dance studio. She was very patient, positive, and such a joy. Her passion for dance is contagious and it shows in her work. She loves what she does and not only is she talented, she's a great teacher and that's hard to find! She was punctual in her text messages as well as for our dance lessons.

Ka Laam worked with my husband and I before our wedding and choreographed our first dance. We are both awful dancers and wanted something special for our wedding day. We took 5 lessons with Ka Laam and although 1 and 2 were rusty, but 3/4/5 we were feeling good and LOVED the dance she put together for us- it was the perfect amount of fun and romance. Ka Laam was patient, kind, and very thorough ensuring our posture and moves were just right! Her approach to teaching worked great and our dance ended up being our favorite part of our wedding.

My wife and I had dance lessons with Mariia over the course of a couple months to develop a routine for our wedding and to learn dance skills. Both of us were starting from square one - no experience with dancing. Mariia made the process of learning dance fun and approachable. She was very adept at teaching dance techniques and styles to beginners such as ourselves. Each week we noticed a meaningful level of improvement and Mariia ramped up the degree of difficulty by the right amount. We always felt like we were being challenged, but never felt lost or overwhelmed. And then for the dance routine, we could not have been any more pleased with how it turned out. Mariia showed a ton of creativity designing the routine and matching it up with our first dance song. She did a great job teaching it to us, tweaking elements of it and really honing in on the details. When it came time for the dance on our wedding day, we felt very comfortable that we had perfected it. Our routine on our wedding day could not have gone any better - we honestly received stunned looks and comments from family and friends who had no idea we were capable of pulling off a routine like that. Mariia was a pleasure to work with. She was very professional, easy to get along with and clearly an expert in dance. We really looked forward to our dance lessons every week.

Irma pulled through on a short notice for us. 2 weeks ahead of our wedding we decided to find a choreographer to help us with a fun first dance. My fiance wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea but he agreed to give it a shot. Neither of us are skilled dancers so we were shy about it. But Irma totally understood our vibe and choreographed a dance that was super fun. She was great with not letting us off too easily by keeping the dance simple. She actually challenged us and were surprised with our own ability to learn the steps with confidence. I like that we were taken out of our comfort zone and got to enjoy the music naturally. We danced to Rock With You by Michael Jackson. I liked her swag, she gave our dance maaad sex appeal! :) She also made it easy by coming to our house for private lessons at a great value!
