Ive had the pleasure of singing under the direction of Barbara Pinto-Choate, in our church choir and private voice tutoring, since 2008. Barbara is very accomplished in her knowledge of music and voice, and she conveys that knowledge in a very comfortable, professional and friendly way. Ive learned so much under her direction, and I highly recommend her services to anyone looking to learn and grow in their singing abilities.

Barbara is one of the most professional people I know when it comes to music. She has helped me with my singing and basic music knowledge. I have a much better knowledge of rhythms that I did not have before singing in her choirs and playing handbells. She has such a positive attitude towards people who are not musically inclined and helps them to have confidence in their musical abilities. She makes singing in her choirs fun. She is a fun person to know and always makes practice enjoyable. She has taken a simple church choir, with many people who cannot read music and some who don't sing well, and made us all sound almost professional. She is dedicated to her profession, and has great integrity. She has definitely been a positive influence in my life.
