We hired Atlas General Construction to renovate our kitchen. This was our first major home project, so we wanted a contractor who could guide us through the process.Our project manager was Erick. He explained options clearly and helped us think through tradeoffs. I appreciated his suggestions throughout the project, including the decision to replace the windows. That change was not something we had planned, but it made a real difference in the finished space.The crew was well staffed and productive. When they were on site, progress was steady and visible. The team also handled uncertainty well. At the start, it was not clear how the kitchen exhaust hood would be vented. They worked through the constraints and found a solution that significantly improved airflow and met code.If we raised a concern or felt something missed the mark, it was addressed quickly. Change orders felt fair and were discussed before work moved forward. The project passed San Francisco city inspection on the first visit, which gave us confidence in the quality of the work.Overall, Atlas General Construction delivered a solid kitchen renovation and provided the kind of guidance we needed as first-time remodel clients.

Highly Reliable General contractor with Unbeatable Value!!We hired Atlas for tenant improvements in Palo Altospecifically adding a room, plumbing, electric, and handling all permitting through fire and final inspections.Our Project Manager, Romando, was fantastic. He was on-site almost every day and sent us daily WhatsApp updates with pictures, so we always knew the status. They completed the entire project in just 6 weeks (a very tight timeline) and came in at nearly half the cost of the 4 other GCs we quoted. I highly recommend Atlas and their dedicated team for all commercial TI projects.

We are part way into a large remodel/addition project with Atlas (demo, foundation and a large retaining wall have been completed). We are very happy with the level of professionalism and quality of work. We have also noted that the crew has been very conscientious with regard to minimizing the impact on us as we continue to live in the home during construction. I had a wonderful experience with Bill and his team. My husband and I remodeled our kitchen with significant structural changes to our home. It was tough, but Bill and Alex were very responsive to our needs (always got back to us quickly) and were encouraging when things got tough with the kids (I was very pregnant at the time also); we basically redid the entire front part of our home so it was a lot of work that took a long time because of the scope of the project, but the result is pure artistry! It's gorgeous! They are also very professional and I would work with them again!
