- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Wardrobes: During the consultancy, we discuss how to create organized space in the closets, cabinets & other possible storage spaces. Whether they are for Kitchen, Laundry, Bedroom, Garage or other locations. The design includes the components for practicality together with sub- components like Drawers in Base Cabinets for the convenience of deep end accessibility & ease for the body (back), Mechanized lowering of shelving in Wall Cabinets, Bedroom wardrobes - jewelry drawer, pants pull out, shoes pull outs, frame divider for long dresses, divided tray to keep small items like belts, socks, hankies organized in small bins. and many other use cases. Until the design part, consultancy is free. Once the customer likes the design, the work starts. Actual chargeable time starts when we come & start dismantling the old system if required. Continues to when the boxes delivered to the premises, we start unpacking one by one. Assembling along the way. Artwork: I typically have a two-step process. 1. Consultancy: I visit the location to evaluate the = artwork/photos (what kind of hardware they have/or required) = Installation place for each one = If a 2nd person is needed (heavy, large artworks) 2. Schedule installations - come prepared with requirements. Some of the simple installation hardware is free. Anything special may cost extra, e.g., z-bars & lock T-screws for bulky items like mirrors, acrylic mounts, weighty products. Sometimes, I do both steps in one schedule too.
