Mindy was so great with our son in helping him with his singing. Not having had any voice training, and having to sing a solo in a play, he was very anxious about taking voice lessons. After the first lesson he was very happy and thrilled with Mindy's approach to the voice training. She was patience, very insightful and gave him some great techniques to use to stay within his range and meet some notes that he had to hit. She even gave him pointers on how to combat stage fright. Our 14 year old son gives her 5 stars too and that's saying a lot. We would highly recommend Mindy for voice training!

I've been taking voice lessons with Sarah for about 6 months. I chose Sarah because of the quality and detail of her initial responses, as well as her obvious enthusiasm for teaching. I came to her as a hopeless cause in his mid-thirties who could never hit a note. Sarah and her teaching have shown me that I *do* have a voice in there and that I *can* do this. Her techniques and patience have helped me open up my range and start building tone and charecter to my voice. As a teacher, Sarah is professional and fun, patient and caring. She's always happy to try and explain concepts in different ways to help with my understanding. Everything we do in our lessons feels tailored completely to my voice, my issues and my goals. I'm not normally much of a reviewer, but I want to see Sarah succeed and I'm sure there's many of you out there wanting to take the first step into learning how to sing and unsure of where to start. I strongly recommend you contact Sarah and tell her your goals and listen to what she has to say.

The best way I can describe Liz Hodge is as my “Go-To” for overcoming my biggest vocal challenges, writing compelling business speeches that sound like they should be on TED, and making a difference for my leadership team. As the CEO of Promote Her Business, my business speeches and vocal communication significantly affect my ability to get leads, opt-ins, and to have people want to follow-up with our membership and advanced networking programs. Liz has helped me transform my voice into something I like to hear, am proud of, and have confidence will bring me and PHB more business. In addition, as President of our SV Chapter, I take very seriously who educates my leadership team -- of over 10 people -- on the best practices in speaking and vocalizing today. Liz did such a great job giving a mini group workshop to the women entrepreneurs and male allies on our team. And most impressively, Liz’ teaching is so practical that it lives on … my leaders are still referring to what Liz taught us before they speak in front of the community. Though I have been singing since age 9 in lessons and onstage, working with Stephen in the past year has really launched me to the next level, and helped immensely in the pursuit of my music career. His lessons, fine ear and extensive experience help me to see beyond my limits as a singer. He is accessible and enthusiastic as a teacher, and encourages the same qualities and focus in his students. I have become more technically apt, confident, and excited about my music career thanks to Stephen Bigger.

I gave Ben a call for a surprise voice lesson for my mom...Ben was quick to reply, easy to get ahold of and very accommodating when it came to scheduling and traveling for the lesson. We planned on he and my mom singing some show-tunes and songs from fun musicals! Ben was an amazing instructor, coach and duet partner! My family all met him and loved his enthusiasm & talents! We are most definitely planning on hiring him again! Thanks Ben! XO

I have been taking voice lessons from heather for over two years. When I began I wasn't sure I could sing at all. Heather has helped me immensely with expanding my range, rhythm, carrying notes, style and most importantly connecting with the music emotionally. She approaches vocal coaching with kindness but has gently pushed me to be new levels I never thought I would reach. I often get complements on my voice from friends other musicians and that makes me smile. Learning to sing has been one of the most freeing experience of my life and I am so grateful to Heather for all her expertise and encouragement.

Aaron gave beginning alto saxophone lessons to my 9-year old son a few years ago. Aaron was excellent at reading and responding to my son's feelings (he is very sensitive and can get frustrated easily), making the lessons fun, and encouraging creativity and love of music instead of just learning the notes. My son is in the Middle School band now and still loves playing. Thank you Aaron!

Amanda is a wonderful, patient teacher who proves that anyone can learn how to sing. Her exercises are tailored to the specific needs of the student. My 1/2 hour weekly lesson was always the best part of the week. I highly recommend taking lessons from her.
