We booked Armando through Thumbtack for an intimate wedding celebration, which was held outdoors in a backyard. Armando was very professional and personable, arriving ahead of schedule to set up so that music was ready to go as guests arrived. He was highly responsive to all of my inquiries about the booking and the playlists. He personalized our music during dinner and drinks and then dancing--the sound was exceptional. All of our guests had a wonderful time and he exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Armando for any event!
Anthony was a pleasure to work with. I hired him to videotape a panel discussion in a gallery in LA on a Sunday afternoon. I also asked him to do a live stream of the discussion on Facebook. He went the day before to scout out the venue for space, light, and to check the wifi signal we needed to do the streaming. Then he showed up Sunday on time, with all his equipment, a helper, and he did a great job on the videotaping. Unfortunately, due to technical issue beyond his control, the streaming didn't come off exactly as he and I hoped. However, he made up for it in spades by editing the video of it beautifully and uploading it onto both my FB page and You Tube channel, which is more than I asked him to do. I really applaud him for his persistance, courtesy, good communication skills, and his professionalism and I intend to use his company again for an upcoming event!

Dave and his wife provided AV services for a reunion of the employees of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. The event was at the original El Cholo restaurant. Although the room was cramped with 68 people, Dave managed to find space enough to fit in his sound board and two 32" screens. He arrived one hour before the party just so he could make sure the set up was perfect. My planning partner and I were very happy with the results and Dave contributed to making the reunion a resounding success.

I produce bridal and trade shows, so I know an incredible variety of Vendors in every county. I was Catering Manager for Hilton for years and I've worked well over 200 venues in southern California. I know how they negotiate and what you can get from your venue. My pricing is unique, as I simply charge $900 for the day-of and $150 for each Vendor you need negotiated or managed. If my preferred Vendors are used, then I charge only $50 per Vendor managed. I specialize in themed events, entertainment and keeping everything positive!

We do have experienced engineers and techs in sound (FOH , monitor world), backline, lighting, staging and trussing and DJ services who will provide quality, professional, and courteous services. So we only send experienced DJs that are qualifies for your type of event. 2) Service is a high priority at Swell DJ Productions. If that means that we need to go above and beyond your expectations than that is what we will do. Every time. Period. 3) When it comes to decor and lighting, many other companies will only focus on the stage and forget about the crowd or the rest of the room. When we are called to decorate or light your event, our main focus is not on ourselves or the stage, but instead it is on the entire venue space. Often times we can offer a near complete venue transformation.
