We chose Emo to work with my 11 year old daughter via Skype for voice lessons. She was really nervous to have her very first voice lesson over Skype, and with a stranger, but Emo quickly put her at ease. He’s patient, encouraging, positive, and also really uses the 30 minutes fully. He wasn’t the cheapest vocal coach to respond to my thumbtack but he really knows what he’s doing and maximizes the 30 minute lesson. My daughter is really happy with him as her teacher and so am I!

I highly recommend GreenTree and Sidney!! Coordinating piano lessons and other artistic endeavors with Sidney was an effortlesss and pleasant task. He made it happen and initiated some remarkable lessons. GreenTree is on speed dial for our next visit to OC.

I took private adult saxophone lessons from Richard for almost one year. Thanks to his guidance, I started with almost zero know how to playing pieces like Desafinado, Take Five, and Peter Gunn Theme with excellent tonality. He has his own unique style of teaching that really catapults you to success quickly within a short amount of time. Regrettably, I moved up to San Francisco so will be unable to continue lessons with him. Highly recommend him for private lessons

Brian was very patience and extremely helpful with setting us up with a piano teacher. We just finished our first lesson with our kids and Naomi is great! She seems very knowledgeable with piano. My kids were able to warm up to her quickly and that's not easy process. We will definitely be continuing our lessons!

My son started taking piano lessons from Kelly a year and half ago. Since then, he has blossomed. We'd tried a franchise center before discovering Kelly but quickly discovered that a minimum of piano playing is actually done there. At 7, he needed the basics first and she made it so easy and fun for him. Now 9, he took and passed the ABRSMs at Cal State LA last fall, becoming one of the youngest to do so out of 600 students. Recitals are offered twice a year, allowing kids to present their work to an audience. The kids enjoy playing, thanks to her patience, passion and persistence. We highly recommend Kelly Pedroza and Elite Musique.

Anna is a very passionate and talented teacher and musician. After attending a recent recital, I was very impressed with how well her students play and with how she interacts and teaches them. My daughter is too young for lessons currently, but I am looking forward to the day when Anna can become her teacher.

I had my first lesson with Tim and it was more than I could have imagined. He has a calm way about his teaching that makes me anticipate our next session. I am so glad that Tim offered to be my instructor. - Bishop Christopher F. Bays, Sr.

    About

Greetings! My name is Albert Picon, and I am a private saxophone, flute, and piano teacher. I have my bachelor's of arts degree in music education from Cal Poly Pomona University. During my undergraduate studies in music, I received private instruction under the direction of classical saxophonist Lori R. Huff. Moreover, I also had the opportunity to study jazz improvisation with two well-known jazz saxophonists in the Los Angeles area, Tom Luer and Craig Durst. During my last year of college, I studied jazz theory with Javier Vergara, who is a former member of the Grammy award winning Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band. I provide music lessons to all individuals ages 5 and above at my residence. Whether you have played an instrument, or it's your first time learning an instrument, I provide additional support for your level, so that you can start making music at a fast pace. Every student is given different exercises according to their needs. All students are allowed to record each lesson using a recording device that they wish to utilize during each lesson. (Note: If students decide to use their device, it will help them practice daily and increase their level of performance.) You should already have a keyboard or piano, sax or flute by the first lesson because I will assign pieces and exercises for you to practice weekly. If you have had lessons before (group or private), please bring the most recent piece that you have played. This will enable me to see what you have worked on and where to begin a new lesson based on the ability of your performance. During each lesson, there is at least 2-3 new concepts introduced. Regardless of the student's level, every lesson will be conducted in this order: A) Warm up B) Technique exercises C) Play prepared repertoire (if student is ready to play songs) D) Apply techniques to repertoire E) Review previous lesson Aside from teaching privately, I'm also a freelance musician in the Los Angeles area. I have had the opportunity to play with local bands in the L.A. area, such as "Sangria", "Freddy G and the Smooth Response", and "Eastside Groove and the Goodies". I have shared the stage with local salsa and Latin jazz bands which were "Chino Espinoza y Los Duenos Del Son", "Octavio Figueroa y La Combinacion", "Orquesta Son Y Clave", "Orquesta Son Y Cache", "Mambo Lucky 7", "Angel Lebron y Su Sabor Latino", "Mambop Salsa Band", and "Frank Cano Latin Jazz Band". Currently, I'm conducting my own Latin jazz/salsa quintet called "Sabroson". If you are interested in receiving private lessons on sax, flute or piano, feel free to reach me at my cellphone number. I look forward to teaching you new musical concepts and techniques that will enable you to become a proficient musician.

    About

My name is Benjamin Rodriguez. I am an expert music teacher specializing in teaching flute, clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn (euphonium), tuba, violin, cello, piano, organ and synthesizer. I also specialize in both classical and contemporary popular music. I have been a professional music teacher since 1989 and have taught in various school districts throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. I have been directing school bands and orchestras to superior ratings at music festivals and regional competitions. My specialty is teaching elementary school, middle school, and high school age students. I believe that learning the basic fundamentals of music, such as scales, arpeggios, and method studies are at the core of guiding my students to becoming professional musicians themselves. Many of my students have gone on to become leaders on their own musical field, musical projects, music productions and ensemble groups, not only at a teaching level but also at a performance and professional level as well.
