Justin is AWESOME. Working with justin has been a lot of fun. Not only with strength trainining, but flexibility and core training with yoga and acroyoga with my girlfriend and I. I go to justin to boost my workouts and mix things up. I'm a functional movement based sports doctor and I can tell you that I'm impressed with Justin's approach to exercise and wellness. No matter how much you think you know, you'll still learn more, reach your goals faster, and benefit from seeing an experienced and knowledgeable trainer like Justin. He's also big on nutrition, which is fundamental to being and feeling healthy. His company Kula Wellness also does meal prep which is pretty cool. 5 stars!!
Jared is great! He is fun to work with. I have lost 8 pounds, many inches and feel wonderful. He has a holistic approach and this is what I was looking for. He has a strong background in yoga and I enjoy the mix of strength training, yoga and massages. I highly recommend Jared!!
Monique has guided me in her Pilates classes for the last five years and informally has given me input about my exercise program. Monique is always engaged, enthusiastic and encouraging. At the same time, she has a remarkable ability to adjust her guidance to the individual's unique issues, even in a group setting. She is supportive and motivating and has had a very positive impact on my life and many of the people she touches. John Loeb MD
Working with Jessa has been such a wonderful experience! I hadn't considered private/small group yoga sessions before finding her on Thumbtack but it has really expanded my understanding & interest in the practice. She is incredibly mindful and is always sure to check in with you to make sure you're getting the most out of her instruction. If you have any injuries or soreness she will show you alternative poses and makes sure to keep the sequence challenging enough but still within your ability. It's really cool to practice yoga specifically curated to your level - not like gym yoga or giant "all level" classes. If you're into it, she will also open practice with a short guided meditation to get you grounded, I hadn't had much experience with that before but I've found it to be quite beneficial! Lately I've been going to her new group sessions at the Felton Commons across the street from New Leaf on Highway 9 in Felton and it's a cool small class that is "all level" but it's still intimate enough so you still get the personal attention of a private lesson. I love it! Jessa had been such a gift and she makes me love yoga more all the time :)) do yourself a favor and try her out!
How do I even begin to do justice to this incredible woman? I had the pure pleasure and honour of getting to know Amanda in India, where out paths crossed over a love of yoga and passion for knowledge and improvement. I instantly fell in love with this lady. Her classes challenged me physically (I sweated in a room that was barely 4 degrees!), enlightened me spiritually and gave me a deep clarity; one class in particular moved me to tears with a beautiful and overwhelming sense of love and friendship. I work as a yoga teacher and can honestly say, my inspiration to be the teacher I am today, came from this girl. I owe her everything I am today. She will forever be my yogi mentor and friend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my friend x
Christine is great! We are thrilled to have met her - she totally gets kids, pets and parents trying to do Yoga -we look forward to our now regular weekly sessions with her :)
I had a private yoga session with Claire and as someone new to yoga, I felt that Claire's instruction was clear and helpful. I've gone through a few yoga techniques on my own following the instruction of youtube videos, but I found Claire's session to help take me to the next level. She corrected my form and technique to help me get the most out of my yoga and I could really feel the difference in what I was doing before versus what I learned from the private session. Claire helped me loosen up my hips and introduced a few new poses that I've added to my routine and helped fine tune the ones I was already familiar with. Overall, I enjoyed my session with Ferox Yoga and would definitely try more classes in the future.
Eve is excellent. She is knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about yoga. Great teacher!
I have taken class with Rebecca for over 8 years. Her classes are full of spirit, laughter and soul. She is particularly wonderful at teaching alignment. I cannot imagine my yoga journey without her guidance. She is a fantastic teacher and person.
Carissa is a lovely person and I highly recommend her for Pilates and Yoga! A+++
From the minute I took Shannons Power Down class I knew that I wanted to spend more time in her presence. I left the class feeling so relaxed and peaceful. Her guided meditation, deep stretch and awesome hands on adjustments were just what I needed. From there, I knew I needed to work with her more and reached out to her. She spent time reviewing my goals, lifestyle and what I wanted to get out of my yoga practice. I welcomed her into my home to work with me and my partner. She was so in tune with each of our needs and helped us in a gentle way to adjust our bodies and getting into a deeper more balanced practice. After the session she followed up with a detailed email summarizing our time and providing information/links on how to continue our practice between sessions. I would HIGHLY recommend Shannon as a knowledgeable, caring and effective practitioner.
Gina took a very personal approach when we started our lessons. I suffered from sciatic pain after a lower back/ spasm injury due to a bulging disk so decided to try yoga to help strengthen my lower back and lessen my pain. She was always prepared with different poses to improve my health. She has a true passion for the practice and helping her patients. Gina was in it for the journey with me and I really appreciated that.
I've never take a Yoga class before as this is my first time and it's a life changing experienced. My endurance and reflexes weren't good before I took the class but through the helps of Ms. Gangadhara, I've gradually increase my stamina and my reflexes are quite good now. I found out that she's a dedicated, patient person whom would spend countless hours in order to help myself reaches the goals. She's have a good fundamental on yoga, and together with her engaging, friendly manner has definitely make yoga a more interesting experienced for me.

Kayla discovered grace on the mat as a way to counteract the strains of classical ballet and competitive dancing in 1999. Since then, her asana practice has developed into a dharma of discovery. It has become clear that the past is written and cannot be erased; the future has yet to be drafted; only in the present moment can we truly be alive. Practicing and teaching internationally over the past 3 years, Kayla is a 200-hr Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher with over 250 hours of teaching experience. Currently, she is studying under Janet Stone in San Francisco to earn her 500-hr certificate in the Five Elements training program. Kayla's true passion is guiding those on the path of yoga to encounter the stillness between life's rises and falls by connecting prana and movement, removing boundaries and embracing vulnerability on and off the mat. As an instructor, Kayla hopes to invite practitioners to establish sustainable expansion; encouraging students to look beyond all that which separates, binds, limits or constrains. Kayla's classes are infused with mantra, cadence and community; stimulating awareness through powerful yet nurturing sequencing paired with attentive guidance; she humbly bows with overwhelming gratitude to all of her teachers and fellow practitioners along the way that have shed light upon this beautiful dharma she has been blessed with.

I am a Bay Area based power vinyasa yoga instructor. My classes put an emphasis on increasing strength, flexibility, balance, and connecting the body and mind. My goal is to provide an emphasis on physical fitness in the practice. I believe that once a student begins to fulfill their physical goals through yoga, the additional mental and emotional benefits will follow.
I became a swimming trainer because it's my passion. I started swimming when I was just 10 years old, and I love yoga too.
I have a unique background in psychology, massage therapy and yoga that allows me to offer more than just training in yoga postures. Students learn how their thoughts contribute to their experience, and how to use their minds to create more peace and well-being.
