- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After visiting the customers home or business I can provide a contract price. For small projects I charge a minimum fee for the first hour then break it down to every 15 minutes after the first hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A meeting at the location of the project is essential to giving a solid price. I do not charge for estimates.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My grandfather and two of my uncles were accomplished cabinet and furniture makers and I was always interested in their trades. I started working in construction when I was 26 years old and I am now 66 years old. I spent 30 years as a project manager for another contractor before going out on my own. I have attended trade schools and seminars that relate to my profession.
