Scott is a great swim instructor. I could barely swim before and in just a couple of weeks, I'm swimming laps. I still have a ways to go to be 100% comfortable in water but I'm getting better after every session. Scott also provides great recaps of our drills and what I can improve on after every session. He also reviews videos of me swimming and is able to provide actionable suggestions on how to improve in between sessions. I highly recommend Scott for adults learning to swim proficiently and also for people looking to swim recreationally at a high level because I'm swimming 10x better than when we started a few weeks ago.
I've been swimming with Fana for over five years now and she's awesome! This isn't your standard drill and kill group. She works on stroke technique to help avoid injury and mixes up the strokes to keep the workouts interesting. As a result, my swim times are faster and I haven't missed workouts due to sore shoulders etc.
Bari (Barry) was patient, kind, and experienced. His focus on safety was great. Bari was really detailed in teaching me, breathing techniques and new swimming strokes. He also taught my daughters, to be a confident and safe swimmers too! I highly recommend him for for all ages. For people how really want to learn how to swim this is you're guy!

We do swim lessons really well.
I've been swimming for over 10 years, and I was on my old high school's varsity swim team. I have also taught children with ages, from 8 to 10, for a short time too.
I can only teach you what I have learned from friends and my time spent researching training and nutrition.
We are a family-owned and -operated summer learn-to-swim program offering lessons in the Tri Valley area. For over 25 years, we have been offering swim lessons for ages 18 months to adult. We are proud to have the smallest group classes in the area, with a maximum of 3 students per class. We offer clients group, private, parent/tot and stroke and conditioning classes. All are for a very affordable price; group lessons are $100 for 8 lessons. Daily lessons and very small group classes are a great combination for swimming success. Trained staff are dedicated to promoting water safety, fitness and fun. It's the only sport/lesson that can save your child's life!
I have been an aquatics instructor at the University of California at San Francisco for the past five years. I have been the top requested instructor averaging over 40 clients per week. I have all of my certifications up-to-date: CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding. I have had five years of experience working with special needs children and adults. I have volunteered for the Challenged Athletes Foundation as a swim instructor for children with prosthetics. You will see an improvement in your swimming after a few classes together. This is guaranteed!
Hello! My name is Jen, and I'm a 26-year-old assistant aquatic director at U.C. Berkeley who would love nothing more than to teach you or your child to swim. Swimming and swimming instruction are my passions that I enjoy sharing with others. I have 10 years of experience working with children and adults of all ages, including children with fear of water, special needs, and other specific circumstances. I have experience coaching swimming at the masters level and waterpolo. I am lifeguard and lifeguard instructor certified, emergency medical responder certified as well as CPR certified for the professional rescuer (adult and pediatric). I live in the Oakland area, but would be willing to travel in the evenings to either teach at your home or local community pool. Swim lessons can be expensive and often impersonal. As someone who has worked in aquatic programs for a long time, my wish is that your child will get a quality experience at a cost less than what you would pay at a swim school. My rates are as follows: * A single private lesson (30 minutes) -- $40 * A package of five private lessons -- $175 * A package of 10 private lessons -- $300 Before any lessons are taught, a swim lesson agreement will be signed as well as payment in full. Because I work full-time, I will only be taking on one to two clients depending on location and the amount of lessons that are paid for. I have references available upon request, who would be more than willing to speak on my behalf. Have a great day!
I am friendly and outgoing with unlimited patience and a love of what I do! I am prompt and diligent when working on a project.

I specialize in teaching special needs children and adults how to swim. I have over 10 years of experience and a 100% success rate.
Because my background has been in competitive aquatics, I have been able to create a lesson plan that is geared towards competitive development. My belief is that it is important to learn how to swim as you would compete with it for the best results. It is important to learn technically vs practically. The swim lessons that I offer are completely tailored to my clients and their goals. I have been teaching swim lessons privately and for other swim schools locally for over 5 years years while continuing to train as a collegiate athlete. As new techniques and cutting edge systems are brought up through my training, I integrate them into my swim process for the most current and advanced guidance for maximum results.
I have been a competitive swimmer since the age of 4, and I have been coaching for more than 10 years. I have taught everything, from children how to swim to training adults for triathlons.
I will be teaching individuals of all ages the safety, skills and fun in swimming from coast to coast. I've been teaching for 4 years now and having competitively swimming for 13 years. I enjoy swimming, and one of my passions is helping others achieve their goals.
