Jessica is a pleasure to work with! She has a very gentle approach to dog training and honestly taught me SO much when it came to training my puppy. She was also nice enough to answer all of my questions via call or text. She really cares about what she does and it shows! Highly recommendApr 15, 2020VerifiedProud Paws Dog Training's reply
Thank you so much Jennifer for taking the time to review. I so enjoyed working with you and little Theo :-)
Absolutely the best! Jessica is a wonderful, knowledgeable and obviously accomplished dog trainer. Just ask Lucilu (our puppy) who just looks at Jessica and is magically obedient!Mar 10, 2020VerifiedProud Paws Dog Training's reply

Thank you Vanessa, I'm so glad you found the lesson helpful! Toby is a very smart boy :-)
Jesse has been great for our family. As our puppy continues to grow and develop, we are learning how to train him and he is learning how to respond to us. Jesse is definitely giving us both the confidence and help we need for it to happen. Recommend her x1000!!!Jun 23, 2020Verified
Jessica is very professional with her work and has been very helpful with our puppy. She taught us so much about how to handle our dog and makes sure our fur baby knows how to behave in all kinds of scenarios. I would without hesitation recommend Jessica to any owner looking for quality service and professionalism.Jan 25, 2020VerifiedProud Paws Dog Training's reply
Thank you so much Siwen! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing little Uni each lesson and watching you all learn and progress.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A flat rate is applied to the initial consult session, followed by an hourly rate thereafter. I also offer discounts for session packages. This is where the client has the opportunity to receive on-going guidance and is able to gain a momentum with their training over a 4-6 week period or more. The customer is more than welcome however to schedule as they please and every lesson and protocol is tailored to the individual's needs. Extra charges will apply to aggression related issues, multi-dog homes or locations outside of the predominant service area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always start with a 90 in-home minute consult. With most behavioral issues it's so important to meet the dog, see their home environment and gather information from the client about what they're experiencing. It's easy to miss something or to proceed incorrectly otherwise. I always encourage owners to establish a clear set of goals and to think about what's achievable for their family and for their dog. From here we can set a session schedule according to the client's convenience. I also always provide write-ups of their sessions with homework included to optimize progress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor of Science in Animal Management and am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers. Continuing education within my field and remaining up to date with methods and techniques is also of great importance to me and necessary to maintain my CPDT-KA credential.
