He fixed what 2 other electricians could not. Very knowledgeable and professional! Honest and responsive. He's an invaluable resource.
I wanted to replace under-mount two bowl sink and contacted several plumbers but all of them told me that replacing under-mount sink is very difficult and could damage to my granite countertop. However, Amin agreed to do the job after inspecting my kitchen sink and did a wonderful job. Even dishwasher installers from Lowes appraised his excellent job.
My mother lost her legs and only had one working burner, on her cook top. My mother lives in California and I live in North Carolina. After over a month of trying to get it fixed though Home Depot......never getting anything done through Home Depot again....my husband called someone, who came out, and told us we needed an electrician, before he could do the job. I found thumbtack and posted my request. Thanh replied and was at my moms house the next day. He was polite, knowledgeable, up front, and reasonable in cost. My mom has a few more repairs needed in her home and I will be calling thanh again.
Mike's a great guy! My schedule kept changing and he was flexible enough to work with me. He did an excellent job, his rates were below other electricians and he offered me an amazing deal on future lighting work. I'll definitely hire him again. It's nice to have an electrician in your pocket.
I appreciated his work ethic and skill. He installed an electrical outlet. I compared his estimate with others and his price was fair and included patching the hole in the wall which other electricians would not do.
Great workmanship and very tidy; can barely tell where there was work done! Have had other electricians come in and cut out parts of the drywall with wanton disregard and leave me to clean up. This guy definitely gets my recommendation.
Had a problem with an outlet not charging my wife's car. Ed was professional and friendly. I have had four electricians come out and tell me something I did not need. This included grounding rods and re-wiring of panels and/or the house. Ed took the time to diagnose the problem and showed me everything he was planning on doing. The panel was already grounded and so were the outlets. He fixed the problem and our Volt can now charge. I would strongly recommend him to anyone that is having electrical issues/problems.
Alan came exactly the time he said and let me know when he was 10 minutes away. My garbage disposal wasn't getting enough power to work. He fixed the problem in about an hour and charged me such a reasonable price $65.00 . The local highly recommended electrician had quoted $575.00. I would highly recommend Alan and also he is a very personable guy.
Quick response to a middle of the night query. Increasingly bothersome flickering of light fixtures, turning into occasional loss of power to lights and appliances without reason or provocation in two or three circuits without tripping breakers, until a "Poltergeist" type light and sound show at 2 am. Did some DIY run through internet sites and thought better. Discovered Thumbtack by chance and gave a try. Received three responses of interest, liked the reviews and understood the nature of the few negative ones too. Particularly drawn to the fact AJ was a local professional who was still in town! First visit was to trouble shoot. But knowing the neighborhood and building stock and electrical profile, he described and diagramed what he believed was the ultimate problem and solution, replacing at sometime in the near future the aging, original main subpanel with old pushmatic breakers and questionable wiring. But rather than spend unnecessary hours on the clock to further troubleshoot, he proposed replacing two questionable breakers and tightening some clearly scarred contacts, to see if that improved the situation and gave us time to plan what we agreed was a necessary upgrade down the road. He did the work swiftly and efficiently. The performance was improved marginally over the next few days but it was clear that it didn't make sense to wait on the new subpanel. We set up a time. He credited his past work and gave us a reasonable bid. He came as scheduled and when we went behind the panel, everything he originally suspected was there. He installed the panel and wiring in the six hours he projected at the start of the day. AJ was direct, straightforward, cordial and friendly. A teacher and tradesman, he took me through the electrical mechanics of it and was transparent in his dealings. I appreciated the respectful and mature approach, while being personable. It is now over 5 days since the work was done and we haven't a flicker of a doubt that we are safer and sounder now. As smooth an operation and recovery as I could have expected.
Pete is a very professional Electrician, He got everything we needed to have done at our Place of Business in a very timely matter and at a very affordable price. We are Grateful to find an honest professional electrician.
We had a tricky electrical problem. A number of our lights stopped working. Eugene Plummer diagnosed the problem as coming from the low voltage system in our house that controls the light switches. Leaving aside the rationale for and the value of the low voltage switching system which has driven us nuts over the years, the next problem was to find replacement solenoids and a transformer for the fifty year old system, no easy task as they have not commonly been installed for several years. The parts were finally found and after some delay in arranging a convenient time plus one in which he would have a helper available, the problem was fixed and the lights now work once more. We would not hesitate to call Eugene again. His work was excellent and his bill was lower than we expected because of the complexity of the problem. Many electricians today have little or no knowledge of low voltage light switching systems. We were lucky to find Mr. Plummer.
If you're looking for good electric work to be done in your home or business, I reccomend AR Electric! Punctual, briefly explained what needed fixing, & fair pricing ! Definitely will hire again for any future electrical work my business requires. Thank you AR Electric !
He was on time, efficient, and solved a problem two other electricians could not. Also a very nice guy. He even picked up lights for me ahead of time and didn't even charge me for that before coming over.
Handyman (Oscar) did a great job fixing our outlet. I’d say that if you need any electrician work done, Oscar is the one to call.
In every way imaginable, it was a real pleasure working with Sam; a true professional! He was patient, thoughtful, and eager to please with all of the convoluted electrical issues we uncovered during our remodel, created by former so-called electricians. Don’t mess, hire the best, and Sam is our man forever!
Ignacio and his team (Jonathan and the other guy whose name i forgot :) ) have been great throughout the entire process. They kept me informed about the process, and also worked in parallel with me about decisions which an owner has to decide. They never said no to my last minute requests. Very professional in their work. They went above and beyond for my requests. I will soon be uploading photos of their work. Work is still in progress.
We are so happy with the quality of Chris's work and his dependability and communications. He is now our go to electrician. Thanks, Chris!
We did a full kitchen remodel where I acted as my own general contractor to save money. When I hired him, he was still working as an apprentice, but he reassured me that he was able to complete my electrical needs at a reasonable price. He upgraded all of the kitchen wiring, got it up to code, and fixed the flickering lights (in addition to installing all outlets, light fixtures, etc). Another electrician that I hired (years ago) basically daisy-chained many of the components onto one wire causing an overload resulting in the flickering lights. Jay went above and beyond to locate where all the connections were, undo them and put them on their own, new wires. We thought he was doing a good job, but when the city inspector commented on how impressed he was with our electrician's work (Jay even mapped out and labeled all the outlets for us), I knew we made the right choice in hiring Jay. We were so thrilled with the work he did in our kitchen that we hired him a year later to install motion sensors for all our closets and upgrade several electrical outlets to newer, USB/cell phone outlets. We really can't praise Jay's workmanship, integrity, and character enough and I know you won't either. We highly recommend him!
Cedric and his wife are a great team. They showed up happy and ready to help. They assessed the situation and helped us to figure out what would be the best resolution to fixing our ceiling fans. While at our home they helped us explore and select some smart light switches so that we could turn lights on while we're away so that our dog wouldn't have to be in the dark. Overall, I would say the experience was like having a friend do some electrical work in our home. I would definitely call them again in the future.
Milton did a great job with the electrical work in our home! We had him add in a bunch of outlets, install a nest doorbell & security camera, install motion sensor lights & setup outlets for a tankless hot water heater and microwave. We were really happy with all the work he did and would definitely recommend him & use him again in our future. He was on time, responsive & professional. Thank you again for all your help!
Tom and his assistant did an outstanding work putting in led recessed lightings in our living room, hallway and kitchen. He was thorough and explained what he is going to do and the layouts of what he recommend to position and place the lights. He is easy to work with and will definitely hire him again for any of our electrical needs.
