Collective Roots

Introduction: If you love to see passion and joy expressed through movement and appreciate intelligence and technique in a dancer, you have found it! I am a performer, choreographer and a teacher of multiple forms, including: * belly dance * salsa * Cuban popular * folkloric movement * hip hop * and my own techniques - roots movement (fusion) and salsa du ventre (salsa/belly dance fusion) I also teach and lecture on the connection of chakras with movement, the origin of belly dance as a woman's dance, Afro-Cuban archetypes of the divine, and the healing power of movement. These studies inform my body, as do my continual movement studies in Cuban, belly dance, Haitian and Congolese dance forms. I look forward to dancing with you!
